Abstract

An objective of the present invention lies in providing a method, apparatus, and system for performing data transmission and processing via dual connectivity. A method according to the present invention comprises: obtaining capability related information of the UE; obtaining allocation related information; determining available allocation information corresponding to said macro base station itself and capability allocation information corresponding to said small base station based on the capability related information of said UE and said allocation related information; configuring connection between said macro base station and said UE based on said available allocation information, so as to perform data transmission between said macro base station and said UE and transmit said capability allocation information to said small base station. An advantage of the present invention lies in that by setting processing capability thresholds of a UE which is available respectively for the macro base station and the small base station based on capability related information of the UE, the data transmission on dual connectivity of the UE to the macro base station and the small base station will not exceed the processing capability of the UE.
