Definitions
- the invention relates to a method in putting together of a drilling device and a drilling device according to ' the preambles of the independent claims.
- a way to carry out earth drilling in a developed manner with respect to traditional technique is known e.g. from Finnish Patent No. 95618 .
- a drilling head in a drilling unit of the drilling apparatus that exists inside a casing part or in other words a so called earth pipe or casing pipe presented in this patent is formed according to the appended figure 1 presenting prior art of a first frame part and an aniiular second frame part, the drilling surfaces of which being provided with drilling organs, such as drill bits or like, of the first and second drilling means or in other words of a center drill or a pilot and a reaming drill.
- the first frame part forming the first drilling means is being released from the second frame part forming the reamer, in order to pull the same alone off from a drilled hole after the drilling situation.
- the solution in question is provided with an arrangement, which locks the said drilling means together for a drilling situation unrotatively in respect with each other and in both directions longitudinally, in which as an advantageous embodiment a bayonet coupling has been used.
- the power influence pulling the casing part into the hole to be drilled stays longitudinal by virtue of the sleeve arrangement, being installed according to the invention, which is situated as an advantageous embodiment between an internal or external counterpart shoulder in, connection with the casing shoe and an external or internal counterpart shoulder at the end of the drilling device, such as the reamer.
- the func- tionings of the drilling device may thus be enhanced by eliminating/retarding wear of the shoulder arrangement in question, in addition to which, thanks to the invention, it is also possible to efficiently dampen e.g. shaking that is caused to the casing part by hammering motion by exploiting as the sleeve arrangement a flexion/damping ring that is made of an essentially flexible structured material.
- the invention relates first of all to a method for putting together of a drilling device, which drilling device is meant to be used in a down-the-hole apparatus, by means of which a hole is being drilled by using the drilling device 1 and a casing part 2.
- the drilling device 1 comprises in its drilling head I a drilling arrangement, such as first drilling means 4 for drilling a center hole and second drilling means 5 for reaming the center hole for the casing part 2, wherein the essentially rotationally symmetrical drilling means
- the casing part 2 is arranged to be pulled into the hole to be drilled by a power influence directed thereto from the drilling device 1, such as the first and/or the second drilling means 4,
- a separate sleeve arrangement V is being used in longitudinal direction s between counterpart shoulders x, y, forming the said shoulder arrangement L and being directed when viewed in radial direction r in opposite directions, in order to minimize mutual wear of the said counterpart shoulders x, y and/or kinetic energy, such as hammering motion, being transmitted by the same.
- longitudinal restriction effect of the shoulder arrangement L situated in the internal or external coupling recess 5b of the second drilling means 5 that is at its end on the side f the casing part 2, which makes possible free rotation of the reamer, is based on that that in the coupling recess 5b is arranged a movement clearance B particularly as marked in figure 3, a meaning of which is for its part to dampen vibration being directed to the casing part 2 particularly due to the hammering motion from the drilling device.
- the drilling head I of the drilling device 1 is formed of a first frame part 4a and a second frame part 5a, wherein drilling surfaces P; Pi, P2 formed of end surfaces of the frame parts are provided with drilling organs of the first and the second drilling means 4, 5, such as an integrated drilling part, separate drilling pieces, bits or like.
- a separate casing shoe 8 is being utilized that is to be fastened at an end of the casing part 2 and being provided with when viewed in the radial direction r internal or external counterpart shoulder x/y of the said shoulder arrangement L.
- the said sleeve arrangement L is being placed when viewed in the longitudinal direc ⁇ tion s between an internal or external counterpart shoulder x/y in connection with the casing shoe 8 and an external or internal counterpart shoulder y/x at an end of the drilling device 1, such as the second frame part 5a.
- the sleeve arrangement shown in figure 3 has been applied in connection with the type of drilling device e.g. shown in figure 1, in which the casing shoe 8 is being fastened with traditional arrangements at the end of the casing part 2 fixedly e.g. by a welled coupling.
- the casing shoe 8 acts as a so called external structural part in co-operation with an internal counterpart that is arranged in " the reamer 5, the internal counterpart shoulder x existing in this case at the outer edge of the casing shoe 8 and correspondingly the external counterpart shoulder y being situated at the inner end of the reamer 5.
- the drilling device 1 is provided with a built-in skirt part z at the opposite end of the drilling arrangement that is the second drilling means 5 or the second frame part 5a with respect to the drilling surface P, whereby at the end of the skirt part there is in the radial direction r an internal counterpart shoulder x to pull the casing part 2 into the hole to be drilled by co-operation by the internal counterpart shoulder in question and the external counterpart shoulder y, being arranged at the end of the casing part 2.
- the joint between the reamer 5 and the casing shoe 8 is produced in practise most advantageously by shrinking the reamer's skirt part.
- a wear/slide ring a is being used as the sleeve arrangement V having an essentially rigid structure, such as being made of metal, plastic, ceramic, composite material and/or the like material, particularly in order to minimize wear of the counterpart shoulders x, y of the shoulder arrangement L.
- an essentially rigid structure such as being made of metal, plastic, ceramic, composite material and/or the like material, particularly in order to minimize wear of the counterpart shoulders x, y of the shoulder arrangement L.
- the manufacturing materials of the ring in question is practise may be mentioned as examples particularly carbon fiber and wearing metal.
- a flexion/damping ring b is being used as the sleeve arrangement V having an essentially flexible structure, such as being made of rubber/plastic, composite material and/or the like, particularly in order to minimize kinetic energy, such as hammering motion, transmitted by the counterpart shoulders x, y.
- manufacturing materials of the ring in question in practise may be mentioned particularly rubber and silicone.
- the invention also relates to a drilling device, which is meant to be used in a down-the-hole apparatus for drilling a hole by using the drilling device 1 and a casing part.
