Abstract

Collective oral hygiene device, which relates to a unit composed of a brush holder (1), a brush-holder kit (2) and additional components (3), with a new fitting system (SE) fixing the brush holder (1) and the additional components (3), preventing same from being dropped during handling and transportation, the brush-holder kit (2) incorporating lateral handles (4) and also a specially shaped recess (5) for safe transportation and practical purposes. It is noteworthy that the composition of the plastic material of the brush holder (1) includes a bactericide, which prevents the growth of microorganisms, fungal spores, bacteria and yeasts. The model includes a second case (S2) for acidulated fluoride dental gel.

"DEVICE FOR COLLECTIVE ORAL HYGIENE PRACTICE"

It addresses the present Utility Model Patent application for an innovative and practical "COLLECTIVE ORAL HYGIENE DEVICE" aiming to present a brush holder and brush holder kit whose constructivity adds a new brush holder attachment system, allowing better positioning and easier transport of the brush holder kit, being portable and functional.

The brush holder and brush holder kit stand out for having a bactericidal composition, that is, it provides protection against contamination by bacteria and fungi, contributing to total safety in oral hygiene, in addition to an innovative acidulated toothpaste that provides a "liquid" toothpaste formulation (fluid gel) with low fluorine concentration and low pH, in order to increase the effectiveness of the product in controlling dental caries and reducing the risk of dental fluorosis.

The field of application of innovation is appropriate for the dental health sector, more specifically in the segment of handling and transportation of brushes and additional components used in oral hygiene.

It is now known that the brush holder fitting system in the brush holder kit is deficient and not fixed enough for transport.

In the current brush holder kit the handles are not anatomically sufficient for the brush holders to be carried safely, which consequently causes them to fall.

Another disadvantage noted is that the Brush Holder Kit, because it is closed most of the time, facilitates the creation of fungi and bacteria, which could harm the health of individuals as a whole by lowering their immunity and making them more susceptible to infections.

It is evident the little practicality in the transport of the brush holder, a fact that leads to a technological improvement in this segment, in order to solve once and for all these unfavorable situations, hindering the usability, which ends up demotivating the performance of oral hygiene.

The applicant is one of the inventors of patent application PI0705195-6 A2, entitled LOW FLUOR ACIDULATED NET DENTRIC FORMULATION AND ITS USE, filed on 01/11/2007, which comprises a dentifrice formulation integrating the whole of the present model. utility, aiming to transfer to users the benefits inherent to the said liquid dentifrice formulation, particularly to increase the efficacy of the product in the control of dental caries and to reduce the risk of dental fluorosis occurrence. As described in its original application, in a particular embodiment the formulation comprises ingredients such as: abrasives, for example calcium carbonate, calcium pyrophosphate, but preferably silica gel, humectants such as: sorbitol, glycerine, polyethylene glycol and / or mixture. binders such as carboxymethicellulose, xanthan gum, thickening silica and / or mixture thereof, surfactants (preferably betaines, sodium lauryl sulphate and / or a mixture thereof), preservatives (methylparaben, propylparaben or a mixture thereof), fluorinated agents (monofluorophosphate) sodium chloride, titanium tetrafluoride, stannous fluoride, amine fluoride, preferably sodium fluoride), antiplaque agents (chlorhexidine, cetylpyridine chloride) and acidulants such as: citric acid, phosphoric acid, preferably orthophosphoric acid. The current state of the art anticipates some patent documents dealing with the subject matter. Another document relevant to the state of the art is DE29 80 3165, which is a rectangular package for packaging products such as shower gel, toothpaste, skin cream and shampoo, with a cover supported on a base, which in no way resembles the subject matter of the present patent; on the contrary, it indicates that it is a desktop product or the like. That is, in the previous document, the packaging is more for the organization of products, which are kept inside the cover, mixing toilet products with toothbrush, the latter requiring greater and more adequate protection. This earlier document does not contemplate means for disposing of oral hygiene products only, nor does it disclose means for holding the brush holders and additional components in place, preventing them from falling during handling. As supplementary information, the inclusion in the composition of the plastic material of a bactericidal set known as "GOLDENFRESH BR" or similar, which acts by preventing the growth of microorganisms, fungal spores, bacteria and yeast, ensuring the integrity of the product.
