底面部材（Ｙ）２０には、猫が爪を研ぐための爪研ぎ部材（ｂ）２１が表面に露出するように設置されていることが好ましい。こうすることで、猫が寝転がりながらも爪研ぎ部材（ｂ）２１を削って爪を研ぐことができる。爪研ぎ部材（ｂ）２１は、爪研ぎ部材（ａ）１６と同様のものを用いることができる。

- 猫が爪を研ぐための爪研ぎ部材（ａ）が表面に露出するように設置された壁部材（ｘ）の複数を高さ方向に連結させ、その連結部がストッパー部材（ｓ）により補強された壁部材（Ｘ）と、
