Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système d'authentification d'utilisateurs d'un ordinateur ou d'un système informatisé, en fonction de gestes effectués par de tels utilisateurs. Un symbole contenant un code lisible par ordinateur est stocké dans une mémoire d'un ordinateur, et un motif correspondant au symbole est généré, lorsque l'utilisateur tient le symbole sur un substrat dans une position de lecture. Le symbole est validé comme étant le code lisible par ordinateur, après quoi une série de changements de position du symbole effectués par l'utilisateur devant un moyen de détection est enregistrée. La série enregistrée de changements de position est comparée à des séquences de positions stockées dans le système et associée audit symbole, et un accès est fourni à l'utilisateur si une correspondance entre la série enregistrée et lesdites séquences de positions stockées est trouvée.
