DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0021] In the following description, for purposes of illustration, many specific details are illustrated in order to provide a full understanding of one or more embodiments. However, obviously, those embodiments can also be implemented in the case of these specific details changed, replaced, or alternated. The followings, together with accompanying drawings, describe in detail certain embodiments of the present invention.
[0022] As used herein, the term "hotspot" is a device or application that creates a wireless local area network (WLAN) while being connected to a link to a service provider via a cellular network, such as a GPRS, 3G, or 4G network. A hotspot typically uses wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) technology, which is also called a Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0023] The hotspot may be provided by a mobile terminal running certain Wi-Fi hotspot applications. Figure 11 shows a block diagram illustrating an exemplary computing system for implementing a mobile terminal.
[0024] As shown in Figure 1 1, the exemplary computer system 1100 may include one or more processors 1102, a storage medium 1104, a monitor 1106, a communication module 1108, a database 11 10, peripherals 11 12, and one or more bus 1 114 to couple the devices together. Certain devices may be omitted and other devices may be included. [0025] The processor 1102 can include any appropriate processor or processors. Further, the processor 1 102 can include multiple cores for multi-thread or parallel processing. The storage medium 1104 may include memory modules, such as ROM, RAM, and flash memory modules, and mass storages, such as CD-ROM, U-disk, removable hard disk, etc. The storage medium 1 104 may store computer programs (e.g., a browser) for implementing various processes, when executed by the processor 1102. The browser may refer to a web browser installed on a terminal, such as a mobile phone, a smart phone, a tablet computer, a laptop computer, or any type of mobile computing device.
[0026] The monitor 1106 may include display devices for displaying browser windows. For example, the monitor 1106 of the terminal device can be used by a user to display browser windows. The communication module 1108 may include network devices for establishing connections through the communication network. The database 11 10 may include one or more databases for storing certain data and for performing certain operations on the stored data.
Further, the peripherals 11 12 may include I/O devices such as keyboard and mouse. [0027] In operation, a first terminal may build a wireless local area network with a second terminal through a Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal may obtain each other's Internet Protocol (IP) address in the wireless local area network through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second establish a communication channel through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP addresses. By using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the first terminal and the second terminal share web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel, such that the first terminal can share the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal without any cost for accessing a cellular network or other private Wi-Fi networks.
[0028] Figure 1 illustrates a flow chart of an exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 1 , the content sharing process may include the following steps.
[0029] S101 : a first terminal and a second terminal connect respectively to a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot to build a wireless local area network between the first terminal and the second terminal.
[0030] Specifically, the first terminal and the second terminal connect respectively to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. Therefore, the wireless local area network is built between the first terminal and the second terminal. The method for setting the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the followings.
[0031] 1. The mobile terminal receives an operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by a user on a browser interface. [0032] Specifically, in the beginning, the user calls a "menu" interface of the browser. Then, the user clicks (e.g., mouse click or touch click) a "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" option in the "menu".
[0033] 2. Based on the operation instruction, the mobile terminal sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot by calling a process for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0034] After the mobile terminal receives the operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by the user, the mobile terminal calls a setting program to set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. If the mobile terminal does not have the setting program, the mobile terminal may download the corresponding application program to set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. The details are not repeated herein.
[0035] It should be noted that the first terminal is a web browsing contents sending terminal and the second terminal is a web browsing contents receiving terminal. But it is not limited that the first terminal can only be the web browsing contents sending terminal and the second terminal can only be the web browsing contents receiving terminal. In certain embodiments, the first terminal can be the web browsing contents receiving terminal and the second terminal can be the web browsing contents sending terminal.
[0036] SI 02: the first terminal and the second terminal obtain respectively an IP address in the wireless local area network allocated by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0037] SI 03: the first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address in the wireless local area network.
[0038] After the first terminal and the second terminal build the wireless local area network, the first terminal and the second terminal can obtain each other's IP address in the wireless local area network. The process for obtaining the IP address in the wireless local area network may include the followings.
[0039] 1. The first terminal sends the IP address of the first terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0040] 2. The Wi-Fi hotspot receives the IP address of the first terminal, and sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal.
[0041] After the Wi-Fi hotspot receives the IP address of the first terminal, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to all terminals that connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot through broadcasting. Therefore, all the terminals that connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot can obtain the IP address of the first terminal. [0042] 3. The second terminal receives the IP address of the first terminal, and sends the
IP address of the second terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0043] 4. The Wi-Fi hotspot receives the IP address of the second terminal, and sends the IP address of the second terminal to the first terminal.
[0044] 5. The first terminal receives the IP address of the second terminal. [0045] After the Wi-Fi hotspot receives the IP address of the second terminal, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the second terminal to all the terminals that connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot through broadcasting. Therefore, all the terminals that connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot can obtain the IP address of the second terminal.
[0046] SI 04: the first terminal establishes a communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP address of the second terminal.
[0047] When the first terminal needs to share the web browsing contents, the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot which is connected to the first terminal and the obtained IP address of the second terminal. The steps for establishing the communication channel may include the followings.
[0048] 1. The first terminal sends a request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot. [0049] When the first terminal needs to share the web browsing contents, in the beginning, the first terminal sends the IP address of the second terminal and the request message for establishing the communication channel to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0050] 2. The Wi-Fi hotspot receives the request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal, and sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal.
[0051] Specifically, after the Wi-Fi hotspot receives the request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal, such that the second terminal can establish the communication channel with the first terminal based on the request message for establishing the communication channel.
[0052] 3. The second terminal receives the request message for establishing the communication channel, and sends a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel to the first terminal and establishes the communication channel with the first terminal. [0053] S105: the first terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0054] Specifically, after the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal, the first terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the second terminal through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot. Because the web browsing contents are sent using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, during the process of sending the web browsing contents, both the first terminal and the second terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time without incurring mobile data charges.
[0055] The first terminal builds the wireless local area network connection with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address in the wireless local area network through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal establish the communication channel through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP addresses. By using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the first terminal and the second terminal share the web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel, such that the first terminal can share the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal without any cost.
[0056] In certain embodiments, although the Wi-Fi network can connect the first terminal and the second terminal, the Wi-Fi hotspot is configured in such a way that the first terminal and the second terminal cannot access a service provider's network or other private wireless network using the Wi-Fi network. That is, the Wi-Fi network may be locally configured to prevent the first terminal and the second from performing other network accessing except for the web- browsing content sharing. Of course, other configurations may also be used. Further, in certain embodiments, the first terminal may coincide with the terminal providing the hotspot, or the second terminal may coincide with the terminal providing the hotspot. The hotspot terminal may be able to access service provider's network or other private wireless network. [0057] Figure 2 illustrates a flow chart of another exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 2, the process may include the following steps.
[0058] S201 : a first terminal builds a wireless local area network with a second terminal through a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot, where the second terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0059] Specifically, the first terminal connects to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. Then, the first terminal can build the wireless local area network with the second terminal which is connected with the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0060] S202: the first terminal obtains an IP address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network which is allocated by the Wi-Fi hotspot, and receives an IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network sent by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0061] Specifically, after the first terminal and the second terminal build the wireless local area network, the first terminal needs to obtain the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network, such that the first terminal can communicate with the second terminal in the following steps through the IP address of the second terminal. The steps for receiving the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network sent by the Wi- Fi hotspot may include the folio wings. [0062] 1. The first terminal sends the IP address of the first terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal.
[0063] Specifically, in the beginning, the first terminal sends the IP address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network to the Wi-Fi hotspot. Then, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal.
[0064] 2. The first terminal receives the IP address of the second terminal sent by the Wi- Fi hotspot.
[0065] After the first terminal receives the IP address of the second terminal, the first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address information in the wireless local area network.
[0066] S203 : the first terminal establishes a communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the received IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network.
[0067] Specifically, when the first terminal needs to share the web browsing contents, the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the received IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network.
[0068] If the first terminal is a web browsing contents sending terminal and the second terminal is a web browsing contents receiving terminal, the steps for establishing the
communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the received IP address of the second terminal may include the followings.
[0069] 1. The first terminal sends a request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal.
[0070] 2. The first terminal receives a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel sent by the second terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the second terminal.
[0071] Specifically, the first terminal is the web browsing contents sending terminal, and the second terminal is the web browsing contents receiving terminal. In the beginning, the first terminal sends the request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal. Then, the first terminal receives the confirmation message for establishing the communication channel returned by the second terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the second terminal.
[0072] If the first terminal is a web browsing contents receiving terminal and the second terminal is a web browsing contents sending terminal, the steps for establishing the
communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the received IP address of the second terminal may include the followings.
[0073] 1. The first terminal receives the request message for establishing the
communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal sent by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0074] 2. Based on the IP address of the second terminal, the first terminal sends the confirmation message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the second terminal. [0075] Specifically, the first terminal is the web browsing contents receiving terminal, and the second terminal is the web browsing contents sending terminal. In the beginning, the second terminal sends the request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the first terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the first terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the first terminal. Then, the second terminal receives the confirmation message for establishing the communication channel returned by the first terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the first terminal.
[0076] S204: Using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the first terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal through the
communication channel.
[0077] After the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal, the first terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the second terminal through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot. Because the web browsing contents are sent using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, during the process of sending the web browsing contents, both the first terminal and the second terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time without incurring mobile data charges. The steps that the first terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the second terminal through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot may include one of the followings. [0078] The first terminal sends the web browsing contents of the first terminal in realtime to the second terminal through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0079] The first terminal receives the web browsing contents of the second terminal in real-time sent from the second terminal through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0080] The first terminal builds the wireless local area network with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address in the wireless local area network through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal establish the communication channel through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP addresses. By using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the first terminal and the second terminal share the web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel, such that the first terminal can share the web browsing contents in realtime with the second terminal without any cost. [0081] Figure 3 illustrates a flow chart of another exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 3, the process may include the following steps.
[0082] S301 : a mobile terminal is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0083] Specifically, in order to be adapted for outdoor use, the mobile terminal is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot herein. The steps for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the followings.
[0084] 1. The mobile terminal receives an operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by a user on a browser interface. [0085] Specifically, in the beginning, the user calls a "menu" interface of the browser. Then, the user clicks (e.g., mouse click or touch click) a "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" option in the "menu".
[0086] 2. Based on the operation instruction, the mobile terminal sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot by calling a process for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0087] After the mobile terminal receives the operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by the user, the mobile terminal calls a setting program and sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. If the mobile terminal does not have the setting program, the mobile terminal may download the corresponding application program to set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0088] S302: the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes a connection with a first terminal and a second terminal, respectively, such that a wireless local area network is built between the first terminal and the second terminal.
[0089] Specifically, the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes a connection with the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively. Therefore, the Wi-Fi hotspot builds the wireless local area network between the first terminal and the second terminal.
[0090] S303: the Wi-Fi hotspot allocates an IP address for the first terminal and an IP address for the second terminal in the wireless local area network, respectively. Also, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network to the first terminal, and sends the IP address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network to the second terminal. [0091] After the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes the connection with the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively, the Wi-Fi hotspot allocates the IP address for the first terminal and the IP address for the second terminal in the wireless local area network, respectively. Then, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal and sends the IP address of the second terminal to the first terminal through broadcasting.
[0092] S304: based on the allocated IP addresses, the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes a communication channel between the first terminal and the second terminal.
[0093] After the Wi-Fi hotspot broadcasts each other's IP address for the first terminal and the second terminal, the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes the communication channel between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the allocated IP addresses. The steps for establishing the communication channel between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the allocated IP addresses may include the followings.
[0094] The Wi-Fi hotspot receives a request message for establishing the communication channel sent from the first terminal and the IP address of the second terminal. Then, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal, such that the second terminal sends a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel to the first terminal.
[0095] S305: the Wi-Fi hotspot provides network traffic for sharing web browsing contents in real-time between the first terminal and the second terminal through the
communication channel. [0096] After the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes the communication channel for the first terminal and the second terminal, when the first terminal and the second terminal share the web browsing contents in real-time, the Wi-Fi hotspot provides the network traffic for sending data during the sharing process. [0097] The first terminal builds the wireless local area network with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[0098] Figure 4 illustrates a flow chart of another exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 4, the process may include the following steps.
[0099] S401 : a sharing terminal connects to a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and establishes a communication channel with the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00100] Specifically, the sharing terminal connects to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. When the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the communication channel between the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot is established. [00101] S402: by using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot share web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel.
[00102] Specifically, after the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages and images) in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the established communication channel. The steps that the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the folio wings. [00103] The sharing terminal sends the web browsing contents in real-time to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot; or the sharing terminal receives the web browsing contents in real-time sent from the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot. [00104] The sharing terminal establishes the communication channel with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. By using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the established communication channel, such that the sharing terminal can share the web browsing contents in real-time with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot without any cost.
[00105] Figure 5 illustrates a flow chart of another exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 5, the process may include the following steps. [00106] S501 : a sharing terminal connects to a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and establishes a communication channel with the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00107] Specifically, the sharing terminal connects to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. When the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the communication channel between the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot is established.
[00108] S502: by using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot share web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel.
[00109] Specifically, after the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the established communication channel. The steps that the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents with the Wi-Fi hotspot in real-time through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the followings.
[00110] The sharing terminal sends the web browsing contents in real-time to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot; or the sharing terminal receives the web browsing contents in real-time sent from the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00111] The sharing terminal establishes the communication channel with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00112] Figure 6 illustrates a flow chart of another exemplary process for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 6, the process may include the following steps.
[00113] S601 : a mobile terminal is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00114] Specifically, in order to be adapted for outdoor use, the mobile terminal is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot herein. The steps for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the followings.
[00115] 1. The mobile terminal receives an operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by a user on a browser interface.
[00116] Specifically, in the beginning, the user calls a "menu" interface of the browser. Then the user clicks (e.g., mouse click or touch click) a "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" option in the "menu".
[00117] 2. Based on the operation instruction, the mobile terminal sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot by calling a process for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00118] After the mobile terminal receives the operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by the user, the mobile terminal calls a setting program and sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. If the mobile terminal does not have the setting program, the mobile terminal may download and install the corresponding application program to set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. The details are not repeated herein. [00119] S602: the Wi-Fi hotspot connects to a sharing terminal and establishes a communication channel with the sharing terminal.
[00120] Specifically, the Wi-Fi hotspot connects to the sharing terminal. When the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the communication channel between the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot is established.
[00121] S603: the Wi-Fi hotspot shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the sharing terminal through the communication channel, and provides network traffic for the sharing process between the Wi-Fi hotspot and the sharing terminal.
[00122] Specifically, after the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the established communication channel. The steps that the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents with the Wi-Fi hotspot in real-time through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot may include the followings.
[00123] The sharing terminal sends the web browsing contents in real-time to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot; or the sharing terminal receives the web browsing contents in real-time sent from the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00124] The sharing terminal establishes the communication channel with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00125] For example, when a user wants to share web browsing contents with his/her friends, in the beginning, the user only needs to find a target device for sharing the web browsing contents from a created device list. Then, a transmission channel is created through an IP address and a socket. Thus, the shared web browsing contents may be transmitted to the target device without incurring mobile data charges.
[00126] Figure 7 illustrates a structure schematic diagram of an exemplary terminal for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 7, the terminal may include a building unit 701, a receiving unit 702, an establishing unit 703 and a sharing unit 704. For purposes of illustration, only related parts are illustrated herein.
[00127] The building unit 701 is configured to, through connecting to a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot, build a wireless local area network with a second terminal, where the second terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00128] Specifically, the building unit 701 connects to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. Therefore, the building unit 701 can build the wireless local area network with the second terminal which is connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00129] The receiving unit 702 is configured to obtain an IP address of a first terminal allocated by the Wi-Fi hotspot in the wireless local area network, and receive an IP address of the second terminal sent by the Wi-Fi hotspot in the wireless local area network. [00130] After the first terminal and the second terminal build the wireless local area network, the first terminal needs to obtain the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network, such that the first terminal can communicate with the second terminal through the IP address of the second terminal in the following steps. The receiving steps of the receiving unit 702 may include the followings.
[00131] 1. The first terminal sends the IP address of the first terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal.
[00132] Specifically, in the beginning, the first terminal sends the IP address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network to the Wi-Fi hotspot. Then, the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal.
[00133] 2. The first terminal receives the IP address of the second terminal sent by the Wi- Fi hotspot.
[00134] After the first terminal receives the IP address of the second terminal, the first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address information in the wireless local area network.
[00135] The establishing unit 703 is configured to, through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network received by the receiving unit 702, establish a communication channel with the second terminal.
[00136] When the first terminal needs to share the web browsing contents, the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network. [00137] If the first terminal is a web browsing contents sending terminal and the second terminal is a web browsing contents receiving terminal, the steps for establishing the
communication channel by the establishing unit 703 may include the followings.
[00138] 1. The establishing unit 703 sends a request message for establishing the communication channel and the IP address of the second terminal to the Wi-Fi hotspot, such that the Wi-Fi hotspot sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal.
[00139] 2. The establishing unit 703 receives a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel sent by the second terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the second terminal.
[00140] In the present embodiment, the first terminal is the web browsing contents sending terminal, and the second terminal is the web browsing contents receiving terminal.
[00141] If the first terminal is the web browsing contents receiving terminal and the second terminal is the web browsing contents sending terminal, the steps for establishing the communication channel by the establishing unit 703 may include the followings. [00142] 1. The establishing unit 703 receives a request message for establishing the communication channel sent by the Wi-Fi hotspot and the IP address of the second terminal.
[00143] 2. Based on the IP address of the second terminal, the establishing unit 703 sends a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal, and establishes the communication channel with the second terminal.
[00144] In the present embodiment, the first terminal is the web browsing contents receiving terminal, and the second terminal is the web browsing contents sending terminal.
[00145] The sharing unit 704 is configured to, using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, share the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal through the communication channel established by the establishing unit 703.
[00146] After the first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal, the first terminal shares the web browsing contents (e.g., videos, webpages, images, etc.) in real-time with the second terminal through the established communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot. Because the web browsing contents are sent using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, during the process of sending the web browsing contents, both the first terminal and the second terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time without incurring mobile data charges. The sharing unit 704 may further include a sending subunit 7041 and a receiving subunit 7042.
[00147] The sending subunit 7041 is configured to send the web browsing contents of the first terminal to the second terminal in real-time through the communication channel by using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00148] The receiving subunit 7042 is configured to receive the web browsing contents of the second terminal which is sent through the communication channel in real-time using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00149] The first terminal builds a wireless local area network with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal and the second terminal obtain each other's IP address in the wireless local area network through the Wi-Fi hotspot. The first terminal establishes the communication channel with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot and the obtained IP addresses. By using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the first terminal and the second terminal share the web browsing contents in real-time through the established communication channel, such that the first terminal can share the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal without any cost.
[00150] Figure 8 illustrates a structure schematic diagram of another exemplary terminal for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 8, the terminal may include an establishing unit 801, and a sharing unit 802. For purposes of illustration, only related parts are illustrated herein.
[00151] The establishing unit 801 is configured to connect to a mobile terminal which is set as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and establish a communication channel with the Wi-Fi hotspot. [00152] The establishing unit 801 of a sharing terminal connects to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. When the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the communication channel between the sharing terminal and the Wi-Fi hotspot is established.
[00153] The sharing unit 802 is configured to, by using network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, share web browsing contents in real-time with the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel established by the establishing unit 801.
[00154] After the sharing unit 802 of the sharing terminal connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sharing unit 802 shares the web browsing contents (e.g., webpages, documents, songs, etc.) with the Wi-Fi hotspot in real-time through the established communication channel. The sharing unit 802 may further include a sending subunit 8021 and a receiving subunit 8022.
[00155] The sending subunit 8021 is configured to send the web browsing contents in real-time to the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00156] The receiving subunit 8022 is configured to receive the web browsing contents in real-time sent by the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot through the
communication channel using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00157] The sharing terminal establishes the communication channel with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot. By using the network traffic provided by the Wi-Fi hotspot, the web browsing contents can be shared in real-time through the established communication channel, such that the sharing terminal shares the web browsing contents in realtime with the mobile terminal which is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot without any cost. [00158] Figure 9 illustrates a structure schematic diagram of another exemplary terminal for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 9, the terminal may include a setting unit 901, a building unit 902, a sending unit 903, an establishing unit 904, and a network traffic providing unit 905. For purposes of illustration, only related parts are illustrated herein.
[00159] The setting unit 901 is configured to set a Wi-Fi hotspot. Before sharing web browsing contents, a terminal needs to be set as a Wi-Fi hotspot. In order to be adapted for outdoor use, a mobile terminal is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot herein. The setting unit 901 may further include a receiving subunit 9011 and a setting subunit 9012.
[00160] The receiving subunit 901 1 is configured to receive an operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by a user in a browser interface. In the beginning, the user calls a "menu" interface of the browser. Then, the user clicks (e.g., mouse click or touch click) a "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" option in the "menu".
[00161] The setting subunit 9012 is configured to, based on the operation instruction received by the receiving subunit 9011 , set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot by calling a process for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00162] After the mobile terminal receives the operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by the user, the mobile terminal calls a setting program and sets the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. If the mobile terminal does not have the setting program, the mobile terminal may download and install the corresponding application program to set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot. [00163] The building unit 902 is configured to, after the setting unit 901 sets the Wi-Fi hotspot, connect respectively to a first terminal and a second terminal and build a wireless local area network between the first terminal and the second terminal.
[00164] The sending unit 903 is configured to, after the building unit 902 builds the wireless local area network, allocate respectively an IP address in the wireless local area network for the first terminal and an IP address in the wireless local area network for the second terminal, send the IP address of the second terminal in the wireless local area network to the first terminal and send the IP address of the first terminal in the wireless local area network to the second terminal.
[00165] After both the first terminal and the second terminal connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the sending unit 903 allocates respectively the IP address in the wireless local area network for the first terminal and the IP address in the wireless local area network for the second terminal, sends the IP address of the second terminal to the first terminal and sends the IP address of the first terminal to the second terminal through broadcasting.
[00166] The establishing unit 904 is configured to, after the sending unit 903 sends the each other's IP address, establish a communication channel between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the IP addresses of the first terminal and the second terminal.
[00167] Specifically, after the Wi-Fi hotspot broadcasts the each other's IP addresses for the first terminal and the second terminal, the establishing unit 904 establishes the
communication channel that is used to share web browsing contents for the first terminal and the second terminal based on the IP addresses of the first terminal and the second terminal. The establishing steps of the establishing unit 904 may include the followings. [00168] The establishing unit 904 receives a request message for establishing the communication channel sent from the first terminal and the IP address of the second terminal. Then, the establishing unit 904 sends the request message for establishing the communication channel to the second terminal which corresponds to the IP address of the second terminal, such that the second terminal sends a confirmation message for establishing the communication channel to the first terminal.
[00169] The network traffic providing unit 905 is configured to provide network traffic for the web browsing contents sharing between the first terminal and the second terminal through the communication channel established by the establishing unit 904.
[00170] After the Wi-Fi hotspot establishes the communication channel between the first terminal and the second terminal, when the first terminal shares the web browsing contents in real-time with the second terminal, the network traffic providing unit 905 provides the network traffic for the above sharing process.
[00171] The first terminal builds a wireless local area network with the second terminal through the Wi-Fi hotspot.
[00172] Figure 10 illustrates a structure schematic diagram of another exemplary terminal for sharing web browsing contents consistent with the disclosed embodiments. As shown in Figure 10, the terminal may include a setting unit 1001, an establishing unit 1002, and a sharing unit 1003. For purposes of illustration, only related parts are illustrated herein.
[00173] The setting unit 1001 is configured to set a Wi-Fi hotspot. Before sharing web browsing contents, a terminal needs to be set as a Wi-Fi hotspot. In order to be adapted for outdoor use, the mobile terminal is set as the Wi-Fi hotspot herein. The setting unit 1001 may further include a receiving subunit 10011 and a setting subunit 10012.
[00174] The receiving subunit 1001 1 is configured to receive an operation instruction "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" inputted by a user in a browser interface. In the beginning, the user calls a "menu" interface of the browser. Then, the user clicks (e.g., mouse click or touch click) a "setting as a Wi-Fi hotspot" option in the "menu".
[00175] The setting subunit 10012 is configured to, based on the operation instruction received by the receiving subunit 10011, set the mobile terminal as the Wi-Fi hotspot by calling a process for setting the Wi-Fi hotspot.
