Abstract

La présente invention concerne des dispositifs et des techniques pour fixer des segments osseux de part et d'autre d'un site de fracture, et concerne plus particulièrement des agrafes osseuses pour obtenir une compression entre des segments. Un procédé et un appareil pour fixation d'os interosseuse utilise une agrafe à compression, généralement en forme de U, ayant une paire de pattes avec des extrémités proximales interconnectées par une partie de pont qui est résiliente et arquée, l'agrafe ayant une configuration initiale et étant capable d'une configuration tendue par écartement des pattes à un certain degré amenant la courbure du pont arqué à diminuer et les pattes à se déplacer l'une vers l'autre avec une certaine force de rappel de compression.
