Abstract

L'invention concerne un fauteuil roulant. Le fauteuil roulant comprend une unité siège moulée en plastique présentant une partie assise. La partie assise est conçue pour s'articuler sur deux poutres support de montage horizontal d'un cadre support, lesdites poutres étant disposées parallèlement, et le cadre support est conçu pour résister à une charge appliquée sur l'unité siège. Le fauteuil roulant comprend une paire de roues principales fixées indépendamment au cadre support à l'aide d'un axe respectif et au moins une roue de pivotement frontale. Est également prévu au moins un ensemble de freinage pour la commande du fonctionnement d'au moins une des roues principales.
