Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a display device for a vending machine, and more particularly to a device for displaying a sales price of a product.
  • Patent Document 1 discloses a price display unit that displays a selling price of a product and a cooling and heating of the product in a vending machine that sells a product such as a can beverage (specifically, a beverage in a can, a bottle, a PET bottle, or the like). And providing a cold / hot state display unit for displaying a state (cold temperature state).
  • the cold / warm state display unit includes a region (cooling state display region) for displaying that the product is in a cooled state and a region (warming state display region) for displaying that the product is in a warmed state.
  • a warming state display area is located above the price display section, and a cooling state display area is located above the warming state display area.
  • the cold and hot state of the product is displayed.
  • the price display part and the cold / warm state display part are comprised by the display plate and the liquid crystal display.
  • the display plate and the liquid crystal display may be arranged on the front surface of the sample mounting base for arranging the product samples side by side.
  • the height of the display device including the price display unit and the cold / warm state display unit is high. It becomes very high, and as a result, the lower part of the product sample may be hidden by the display device. Moreover, in order to avoid this, if the height of the sample mounting base is increased, there is a problem that the installation space for the product sample is reduced accordingly. Further, in the vending machine described in Patent Document 1, since the price display and the cold / warm state display are performed using a relatively expensive liquid crystal display, the manufacturing cost is increased.

Description

Vending machine display device
The present invention relates to a display device for a vending machine, and more particularly to a device for displaying a sales price of a product.
Patent Document 1 discloses a price display unit that displays a selling price of a product and a cooling and heating of the product in a vending machine that sells a product such as a can beverage (specifically, a beverage in a can, a bottle, a PET bottle, or the like). And providing a cold / hot state display unit for displaying a state (cold temperature state). The cold / warm state display unit includes a region (cooling state display region) for displaying that the product is in a cooled state and a region (warming state display region) for displaying that the product is in a warmed state. In Patent Document 1, a warming state display area is located above the price display section, and a cooling state display area is located above the warming state display area. , The cold and hot state of the product is displayed. Moreover, in patent document 1, the price display part and the cold / warm state display part are comprised by the display plate and the liquid crystal display. The display plate and the liquid crystal display may be arranged on the front surface of the sample mounting base for arranging the product samples side by side.
However, when the cold / warm state display unit is located above the price display unit as in the vending machine described in Patent Document 1, the height of the display device including the price display unit and the cold / warm state display unit is high.
In view of such a situation, the present invention provides a display device for a vending machine capable of displaying information related to a product such as a cold temperature state of the product in addition to the product sales price in a compact and inexpensive configuration. The purpose is to provide.
Therefore, the display device of the vending machine according to the present invention includes a price display unit that displays the sales price of the product and a light emitting unit. The light emitting unit reflects the first light guide plate disposed on the front surface of the price display unit, the light source that makes light incident on one end surface of the first light guide plate, and reflects at least part of the light passing through the first light guide plate. 1 It has a reflection part made to radiate outside from the front of a light guide plate.
According to the present invention, the first light guide plate is disposed on the front surface of the price display unit, and light from the light source is emitted to the outside from the front surface of the first light guide plate via the reflection unit. Accordingly, for example, by changing the brightness and color of light from the light source, information related to the product can be displayed on the front surface of the first light guide plate, and thus the height of the display device can be suppressed.
According to the invention, the light emitting unit includes the first light guide plate, the light source, and the reflecting unit. Thereby, since the information relevant to goods can be displayed on the front surface of a 1st light-guide plate, without using the above liquid crystal display devices, the manufacturing cost of a display apparatus can be suppressed.

Further, above the LED elements 39 and 40 on the front surface of the substrate 38, an LED element 41 for a 7-segment display corresponding to three digits is arranged. When power is supplied from a power source (not shown) in the vending machine 1 to at least one of the LED elements 39, 40, and 41 via the power line and the substrate 38, light is emitted from the LED element.
The reflective case 28 is disposed on the front surface of the substrate 38 and fixed to the substrate 38 and the base member 30. The reflect case 28 is made of white resin (for example, made of polycarbonate) and has a box shape with a rear opening. A through hole 42 is formed at a position corresponding to the LED elements 39 and 40 in the lower portion of the reflect case 28. Further, a rectangular recess 43 is formed at a position corresponding to the LED element 41 on the front surface of the reflect case 28. A through-hole 44 is formed in a position corresponding to each segment of the 7-segment display in the recess 43.
A black rectangular sheet member 26 is attached to the recess 43. Of the sheet member 26, a portion corresponding to each segment of the 7-segment display is formed to be transparent or translucent. In addition, on the left side of the seven-segment display for three digits on the front surface of the sheet member 26, for example, white characters “¥” are printed.
The smoke lens 25 is disposed on the front surface of the sheet member 26 so as to close the front opening of the recess 43. The smoke lens 25 is translucent. Here, the smoke lens 25 is disposed in the recess 43 so that the front surface thereof is substantially flush with the front surface of the reflect case 28.
Here, the function of the price display unit 12 is realized by the LED element 41, the recess 43 of the reflect case 28, the through hole 44, the sheet member 26, and the smoke lens 25.
A white and rectangular sheet member 24 is attached to the front surface of the reflect case 28. The sheet member 24 is sized to cover substantially the entire front surface of the reflect case 28, and a rectangular window hole 45 is formed at the center thereof. The window hole 45 is formed at a position corresponding to the smoke lens 25 and has a rectangular shape slightly smaller than the rectangular shape of the recess 43.
The light guide plate 23 is made of a transparent resin (for example, made of polycarbonate), and includes a main body 51 and an extension 52.
The main body 51 has a flat plate shape including a front surface and a back surface. The main body 51 is disposed so as to cover substantially the entire area of the front surface of the sheet member 24 and the front surface of the reflect case 28.
The extension part 52 projects rearward from the lower end part of the main body part 51. A recess 53 is formed at a position corresponding to the LED elements 39 and 40 in the rear end portion of the extension portion 52. Here, the LED elements 39 and 40 are disposed in the through hole 42 of the reflect case 28 and the recess 53 of the extension 52 of the light guide plate 23. Further, the LED elements 39 and 40 make light incident on the rear end surface 52 a of the extension portion 52.
A reflective portion 54 (FIGS. 7B and 7C) is formed on the back surface of the main body portion 51. The reflecting portion 54 reflects at least part of the light passing through the main body 51 and emits the light from the front surface of the main body 51 to the outside. The reflection part 54 can be formed, for example, by subjecting the back surface of the main body part 51 to rough surface processing such as embossing. In addition, the reflection part 54 can be formed in the arbitrary places around the price display part 12 by the front view among the main-body parts 51. FIG.
The upper end surface 55 of the main body 51 is inclined so as to go forward as it goes from the upper side to the lower side of the main body 51.
At least part of the light passing through the main body 51 is emitted from the upper end surface 55 of the main body 51 to the outside. As a result, the upper end surface 55 of the main body 51 can emit light obliquely forward.
The light shielding tape 22 which is a light shielding member is affixed on the front surface of the main body 51 and the lower surface of the extension portion 52 where the LED elements 39 and 40 are located behind. Thereby, it can suppress that the light irradiated from LED element 39,40 passes the extension part 52 of the light-guide plate 23, and is radiate | emitted immediately ahead.
Here, the function of the light emitting unit 13 is realized by the light guide plate 23 including the reflecting unit 54, the LED elements 39 and 40, and the front surface (sheet member 24) of the reflective case 28.
The case member 21 is made of white resin (for example, made of polycarbonate), is horizontally long, and has a box shape with a rear opening. A window hole (opening) 61 corresponding to each display device 11 is formed on the front surface of the case member 21. The main body 51 of the light guide plate 23 is disposed so as to close the window hole 61.
Of the front surface of the case member 21, the portion between the adjacent window holes 61 functions as a partition 62 that partitions the adjacent display devices 11. A partition wall (not shown) projects rearward from the rear surface of the partition portion 62.
The case member 21 has an inclined surface 63 and a horizontal surface 64 at its upper end. The inclined surface 63 is inclined so as to go forward as it goes downward. The front edge of the horizontal surface 64 is continuous with the upper edge of the inclined surface 63.
The upper end portion of the case member 21 covers the magnet accommodating portion 35 of the base member 30 and the magnet 27 accommodated therein from above. Here, the inclined upper end surface 55 of the light guide plate 23 is exposed to the outside.
The lower edge portion of the inclined surface 63 of the case member 21 continues to the partition portion 62 via the convex portion 65.
The lower end of the case member 21 covers the base member 30, the substrate assembly 29, the reflective case 28, and the light guide plate 23 from below.
A rising edge 66 that rises upward is formed at the front edge of the lower end of the case member 21. The rising portion 66 has a shape that covers the lower end portion of the window hole 61. Further, the rising portion 66 is formed, for example, in a shape corresponding to the shape of the product selection button 14 so as to be hidden by the product selection button 14 in front view.
A gap (slit) 67 into which a later-described sheet member 81 (see FIG. 9) can be inserted is formed between the rising portion 66 and the light guide plate 23 disposed in the window hole 61.
Here, the case member 21 and the base member 30 constitute the “storage case” of the present invention. That is, the “storage case” including the case member 21 and the base member 30 has an opening (window hole 61) on the front surface and stores the price display unit 12 and the light emitting unit 13.
A concave portion 68 is formed in the rear portion on the upper side of the “storage case”. The recess 68 is defined by the upper surface of the base member 30 and the back surface of the rising portion 30b.
As shown in FIG. 2, when the sample mounting base 6 is composed of a main body portion 6a and an upper plate 6b placed on the main body portion 6a and having a front end portion protruding forward from the main body portion 6a, a concave portion is provided. In 68, the front end of the upper plate 6b may be located. Further, the front end portion of the bottom surface of the product sample 7 can contact the horizontal surface 64 of the case member 21. In this way, the display unit 10 is arranged on the front surface of the sample mounting base 6 and the rear portion of the display unit 10 is positioned below the front end of the product sample 7, so that the product sample 7, sample The unity between the mount 6 and the display unit 10 can be improved. Further, the degree of the display unit 10 projecting forward from the product sample 7 can be suppressed.
A gap 69 is formed between the lower end on the rear side of the case member 21 and the lower end on the rear side of the base member 30. This gap 69 functions as a “communication hole for communicating the inside and the outside of the storage case” of the present invention.
Next, the operation of the display device 11 will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7A to 7C.

FIG. 7A shows the LED elements 39 and 40 turned off, and FIG. 7B shows that the LED elements 39 are turned off and the LED elements 40 are turned on. 7C shows a state in which the LED element 39 is turned on and the LED element 40 is turned off. The LED elements 39 and 40 shown in FIGS. 7A to 7C are actually hidden behind the rising portion 66 of the case member 21 in front view, but are shown by solid lines for convenience of explanation.
The main control unit 71 performs various controls of the vending machine 1 and is provided in the vending machine 1 in advance.
When an operator inputs sales price information and cold / warm state information corresponding to each of the product samples 7 to an input device such as a remote controller (not shown), a signal corresponding to these information is sent to the main control unit via a signal line (not shown). 71.
The main control unit 71 transmits the signal to a CPU (display control unit 72) on the substrate 38 via a signal line (not shown) and the connector 36.
The display control unit 72 displays the sales price on the price display unit 12 (three-segment 7-segment display) based on the sales price information associated with the product sample 7 from the main control unit 71 (see FIG. 7A to 7C).
Further, the display control unit 72 controls the lighting / extinguishing of the LED elements 39 and 40 according to the cold / warm state information associated with the product sample 7 from the main control unit 71, thereby emitting light from the light emitting unit 13. Control the state.
As shown in FIG. 7A, the light emitting unit 13 does not emit light when the LED elements 39 and 40 are both turned off. Such a state can be adopted, for example, when a product is sold at room temperature.
As shown in FIG. 7B, in a state where the LED element 39 is turned off and the LED element 40 is turned on, a part of the cold-colored light irradiated from the LED element 40 and passing through the light guide plate 23 is reflected by the reflecting portion. The light is reflected at 54 and emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 to the outside. Further, a part of the cold-colored light passing through the light guide plate 23 is emitted to the outside from the inclined upper end surface 55 of the light guide plate 23. As a result, the light emitting unit 13 emits light in a cool color. Such a state can be adopted, for example, when a product is sold in a cooled state.
As shown in FIG. 7C, in a state where the LED element 39 is turned on and the LED element 40 is turned off, a part of the warm color light emitted from the LED element 39 and passing through the light guide plate 23 is reflected by the reflecting portion. The light is reflected at 54 and emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 to the outside. Further, part of the warm color light passing through the light guide plate 23 is emitted to the outside from the inclined upper end surface 55 of the light guide plate 23. As a result, the light emitting unit 13 emits light in a warm color. Such a state can be adopted, for example, when a product is sold in a heated state.
In this manner, since the cold / warm state of the product can be displayed according to the light emission state of the light emitting unit 13, character display indicating the cold / warm state such as “clawed” or “warm” is performed. In addition, the product purchaser can be notified of the cold / hot state of the product.
In the present embodiment, in each display device 11, in order from left to right, the warm color LED element 39, the cold color LED element 40, the cold color LED element 40, and the warm color LED element 39 are sequentially arranged. The LED elements 39 and 40 are arranged, but the arrangement of the LED elements 39 and 40 is not limited to this. For example, the LED elements 39, 40 may be arranged in the order of the cold color LED element 40, the warm color LED element 39, the warm color LED element 39, and the cold color LED element 40 in order from left to right. Good. Alternatively, the LED elements 39 and 40 may be arranged in the order of the cold color LED element 40, the warm color LED element 39, the cold color LED element 40, and the warm color LED element 39 in order from the left to the right. Good. Alternatively, the LED elements 39, 40 may be arranged in the order of the warm color LED element 39, the cold color LED element 40, the warm color LED element 39, and the cold color LED element 40 in order from left to right. Good.
In the light emitting state of the light emitting unit 13 shown in FIGS. 7B and 7C, the brightness of the light emitted to the outside from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (main body unit 51) gradually increases along a predetermined direction (vertical direction in the figure). Has changed. Specifically, in the light emitting state of the light emitting unit 13 shown in FIGS. 7B and 7C, the brightness of the light emitted to the outside from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (main body unit 51) decreases as it goes from the lower side to the upper side. , Is gradually changing. That is, the brightness of the light emitted to the outside differs depending on the position on the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (main body portion 51). The light emission position and light emission intensity in the light emitting unit 13 depend on the configuration of the reflecting unit 54. That is, by changing the position of the rough surface processing or the like on the back surface of the main body 51 of the light guide plate 23, the degree of processing, and the like, the form of light reflection at the reflection unit 54 changes, As a result, the light emission position and light emission intensity in the light emitting unit 13 can be changed.
Here, the price display unit 12 can be disposed in the approximate center of the light guide plate 23 (main body unit 51) in a front view. Moreover, the reflection part 54 can be formed in the arbitrary places around the price display part 12 among the light-guide plates 23 (main-body part 51). In addition, compared to the distance between the upper end / lower end of the price display unit 12 and the upper end / lower end of the light guide plate 23 (main body portion 51), the left end / right end of the price display unit 12 and the light guide plate 23 (main body portion 51). Since the height of the display device 11 can be suppressed by increasing the distance between the left end / right end, the display device 11 can be made compact.
In the present embodiment, the above-described “predetermined direction” has been described by taking the vertical direction as an example. However, the brightness of light emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (main body portion 51) is gradually changed. For example, the above-mentioned “predetermined direction” may be the left-right direction.
8A to 8C each show the display device 11 to which the plate member 75 is attached.
The plate member 75 is made of a magnetic material. The plate member 75 is made of sheet metal, for example. The plate member 75 can be disposed on the inclined surface 63 of the case member 21. The plate member 75 is fixed to the case member 21 by being drawn toward the case member 21 by the magnet 27. That is, the magnet 27 can hold the plate member 75 disposed on the inclined surface 63.
Further, the convex portion 65 of the case member 21 can contact the lower end portion of the plate member 75. Therefore, the convex portion 65 of the case member 21 can function as a positioning portion that positions the plate member 75.

According to the present embodiment, the display device 11 of the vending machine 1 includes the price display unit 12 and the light emitting unit 13 that display the sales price of the product. The light emitting unit 13 includes a light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) disposed on the front surface of the price display unit 12 and a rear end surface 52a (an end surface on the lower side of the light guide plate 23) of the extension portion 52 of the light guide plate 23. LED elements 39 and 40 (light sources) that enter the light, and a reflection portion 54 that reflects at least part of the light passing through the light guide plate 23 and emits the light from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 to the outside. Thereby, for example, information related to the product can be displayed on the front surface of the light guide plate 23 by changing the brightness and color of the light from the LED elements 39 and 40, so that the height of the display device 11 is suppressed. be able to. Moreover, since the information relevant to goods can be displayed on the front surface of the light-guide plate 23, without using the liquid crystal display as described in patent document 1, the manufacturing cost of the display apparatus 11 can be suppressed.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the light source includes a plurality of color light emitting elements (warm color LED elements 39 and cold color LED elements 40). Thereby, since the color of the light radiate | emitted outside from the front surface of the light-guide plate 23 can be made to respond | correspond to the cold temperature state of goods, the price display and cold temperature state display of goods can be performed with a compact structure. . The light source may include a single color light emitting element instead of including a plurality of color light emitting elements (warm color LED elements 39 and cold color LED elements 40).
Further, according to the present embodiment, the upper end surface 55 (the other end surface that is the upper end surface of the light guide plate 23) of the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) is lower than the upper side (the other end side) of the light guide plate 23 (the other end side). It is inclined to go forward as it goes to one end side. Thereby, at least a part of the light passing through the light guide plate 23 is emitted to the outside from the upper end surface 55 of the light guide plate 23, so that the surface light can be emitted from the upper end surface 55. Can be improved.
In addition, according to the present embodiment, the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) is located behind the flat plate-like main body 51 disposed on the front surface of the price display unit 12 and the lower end (one end) of the main body 51. The extension portion 52 includes a protruding end portion 52, the rear end surface 52 a of the extension portion 52 constitutes one end surface of the light guide plate 23, and the LED elements 39 and 40 (light sources) enter the rear end surface 52 a of the extension portion 52. Accordingly, the LED elements 39 and 40 constituting the light emitting unit 13 and the LED element 41 constituting the price display unit 12 can be mounted on the front surface of the same substrate 38, so that the thickness of the display device 11 ( (Length in the front-rear direction) can be suppressed.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) has a light shielding tape 22 (light shielding member) on the front surface of the main body 51 where the LED elements 39 and 40 (light source) are located behind. Is provided. Thereby, it can suppress that the light irradiated from LED element 39,40 passes the extension part 52 of the light-guide plate 23, and is radiate | emitted immediately ahead.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the light emitting elements of the plurality of colors include the warm color LED elements 39 and the cold color light emitting elements 40. Thereby, the color of the light radiate | emitted outside from the front surface of the light-guide plate 23 can be made to respond | correspond to the cold temperature state of goods.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the display device 11 includes the storage case (the case member 21 and the base member 30) that has the window hole 61 (opening) on the front surface and stores the price display unit 12 and the light emitting unit 13. . The light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) is provided in the storage case so as to close the window hole 61 (front opening) of the storage case. The storage case has an inclined surface 63 at the upper end thereof, which inclines so as to go forward as it goes downward. The storage case is provided with a magnet 27 that can hold a plate member 75 made of a magnetic material disposed on the inclined surface 63. Thereby, the plate member 75 can be detachably attached to the display device 11 with a relatively simple configuration. Further, by attaching the plate member 75 to which the character display indicating the cold temperature state of the product is attached to the display device 11, the product purchaser can surely grasp the cold temperature state of the product.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the storage case (the case member 21 and the base member 30) has the convex portion 65 (positioning portion) for positioning the plate member 75. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the plate member 75 from being detached from the display device 11 due to an impact or the like when the main door 3 is opened and closed.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the storage case (the case member 21 and the base member 30) is formed with a gap 67 (slit) into which the sheet member 81 on which information related to the product is described can be inserted. Thereby, the additional information regarding goods can be provided to a goods purchaser.
According to the present embodiment, the slit into which the sheet member 81 can be inserted is formed by the gap 67 between the rising portion 66 (storage case) of the case member 21 and the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate). . Thus, the sheet member 81 can be attached to the display device 11 with a relatively simple configuration.
In addition, according to the present embodiment, a gap 69 (communication hole) that connects the inside and the outside of the storage case is formed at the rear part of the storage case (the case member 21 and the base member 30). Thereby, for example, even when rainwater enters inside the gap (slit) 67 of the display device 11 when the main door 3 is opened or closed, or even when condensation occurs inside the display device 11, the display device 11. Since the water inside can be discharged to the outside through the gap 69, it is possible to suppress a failure of the display device 11 due to moisture in the display device 11.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the brightness of the light emitted to the outside varies depending on the position on the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) (see FIGS. 7B, 7C, and 8C). Thereby, light emission with high design property can be realized in the light emitting unit 13.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the brightness of the light emitted to the outside from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) gradually changes along the vertical direction (predetermined direction) (FIG. 7B, (See FIG. 7C). Thereby, light emission with high design property can be realized in the light emitting unit 13.
FIG. 10 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of the display device 11 in the second embodiment of the present invention.
Differences from the first embodiment will be described.
A substrate 38 extends upward from the reflector case 28, and a warm color LED element 39 is mounted on the extended portion. Here, between the LED element 39 and the light guide plate 23, the upper end portion 28 a of the reflect case 28 is located. Therefore, light traveling from the LED element 39 toward the light guide plate 23 is blocked by the upper end portion 28 a of the reflect case 28.
The light guide plate (second light guide plate) 90 constituting the light emitting unit 13 is made of a transparent resin (for example, made of polycarbonate), and includes a main body portion 91 and an extension portion 92.
The main body 91 has a flat plate shape including a front surface and a back surface. The main body 91 is arranged so as to cover substantially the entire front surface of the main body 51 of the light guide plate 23.
The extension portion 92 projects rearward from the upper end portion of the main body portion 91. The LED element 39 faces the rear end surface 92a of the extension portion 92. The LED element 39 makes light incident on the rear end surface 92 a of the extension portion 92.
A light shielding tape 22 ′ as a light shielding member is affixed to a portion of the front surface of the main body portion 91 and the upper surface of the extension portion 92 where the LED element 39 is located behind. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the light emitted from the LED element 39 from being immediately emitted forward through the extension portion 92 of the light guide plate 90.
A reflection portion (not shown) is formed on the back surface of the main body portion 91. The reflecting portion reflects at least a part of the light passing through the main body 91 and emits the light from the front surface of the main body 91 to the outside. This reflecting portion can be formed, for example, by subjecting the back surface of the main body portion 91 to rough surface processing such as embossing. In addition, this reflection part may be formed in the arbitrary places around the price display part 12 by the front view among the main-body parts 91. FIG.
In the present embodiment, the case member 21 may include a rising portion 66, a partition portion 62, and a convex portion 65, as in the first embodiment described above. A gap (slit) 67 into which the sheet member 81 can be inserted may be formed between the rising portion 66 and the light guide plate 90. Further, a gap 69 can be formed between the lower end portion on the rear side of the case member 21 and the lower end portion on the rear side of the base member 30.
In a state where the LED element 39 is turned off and the LED element 40 is turned on, a part of the cold-colored light irradiated from the LED element 40 and passing through the light guide plate 23 is reflected by the reflecting portion 54, The light is emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 23 through the light guide plate 90 to the outside. As a result, the light emitting unit 13 emits light in a cool color. Such a state can be adopted, for example, when a product is sold in a cooled state.
On the other hand, in a state where the LED element 39 is turned on and the LED element 40 is turned off, a part of the warm color light emitted from the LED element 39 and passing through the light guide plate 90 is reflected on the reflection unit (not shown). The light is reflected and emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 90 to the outside. As a result, the light emitting unit 13 emits light in a warm color. Such a state can be adopted, for example, when a product is sold in a heated state.
In particular, according to the present embodiment, the light emitting unit 13 includes the light guide plate 90 (second light guide plate) disposed in front of the light guide plate 23 (first light guide plate) and the rear end surface 92a of the extension portion 92 of the light guide plate 90. The LED element 39 (light source) that makes light incident on (the other end surface that is the end surface opposite to the one end surface that is the lower end surface of the light guide plate 90) reflects at least part of the light that passes through the light guide plate 90. And a reflection part (not shown) for emitting light from the front surface of the light guide plate 90 to the outside. Thereby, light from a light source different from the light source that makes light incident on the end face of the light guide plate 23 can be emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 90 to the outside. Furthermore, the light emission part (reflection part) of the light guide plate 23 and the light emission part (reflection part) of the light guide plate 90 may have different light emission patterns, and in that case, different light emission patterns depending on the LED elements that emit light. Can be displayed. Moreover, the light emission color of the LED element 39 and the LED element 40 may be the same, and in that case, by switching the light emission of the LED element 39 or the LED element 40, it is possible to switch the pattern that emits light with the same light emission color.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the LED element 40 (light source) that makes light incident on the rear end surface 52a of the extension portion 52 of the light guide plate 23 and the LED element that makes light incident on the rear end surface 92a of the extension portion 92 of the light guide plate 90. 39 (light source) emits light of different colors. Thereby, since the light radiate | emitted outside from the front surface (namely, front surface of the light emission part 13) of the light- guide plates 23 and 90 can be made to respond | correspond to the cold temperature state of goods, the price display and cold temperature of goods are compact. Status display can be performed.
In the present embodiment, the cold-color LED element 40 is disposed on the front surface of the lower portion of the substrate 38 and the warm-color LED element 39 is disposed on the front surface of the extension portion of the substrate 38. This arrangement is not limited to this. For example, the warm color LED element 39 may be disposed on the front surface of the lower portion of the substrate 38, and the cold color LED element 40 may be disposed on the front surface of the extension portion of the substrate 38.
Further, the LED elements 39 and 40 may be disposed on both the lower front surface of the substrate 38 and the front surface of the extension portion of the substrate 38 in the same manner as in the first embodiment. In this case, the light emitting unit 13 performs, for example, gradation light emission of cold temperature display via the reflecting unit 54 of the light guide plate 23 (see FIGS. 7B and 7C), and a reflecting unit (not shown) of the light guide plate 90. The POP display can be performed via).
In the above-described first and second embodiments, the light emitting unit 13 displays the cold / hot state of the product, but the information related to the product displayed on the light emitting unit 13 is not limited thereto. For example, when discounting a product such as a time sale, the LED elements 39 and 40 of the display device 11 corresponding to the product are alternately turned on in order to inform the product purchaser which product is the target product for sale. Thus, warm color light and cold color light can be emitted alternately from the light emitting unit 13 to the outside. Needless to say, the LED elements 39 and 40 may be turned on simultaneously.
