Abstract

The present technology relates generally to systems and methods for managing multi-device interactions using the Doppler effect. In some embodiments, for example, a method for managing multiple device interactions in accordance with the technology comprises receiving an indication of a first Doppler shift detected by a first receiving device of an audio signal from a transmitting device, receiving an indication of a second Doppler shift detected by a second receiving device of the audio signal from the transmitting device, comparing the first and second Doppler shifts and, based at least in part on comparing the first and second Doppler shifts, determining a gesture made with the transmitting device.
