It will be readily apparent however, that the present disclosure may be practiced without limitation to these specific details. In other instances, some methods and structures have not been described in detail so as not to unnecessarily obscure the present disclosure. As used herein, the term "includes" means includes but not limited to, the term "including" means including but not limited to. The term "based on" means based at least in part on. In addition, the terms "a" and "an" are intended to denote at least one of a particular element.
[0012] FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a network system for displaying living service information according to the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1 , the network system 100 includes a communication network 110, a client device 120, and a server 130.
[0013] The client device 120 may be a smartphone, a Personal Digital Assistant, a desktop computer or a laptop computer. Additionally, other devices such as handheld and palmtop devices may also be deployed as the client device 120.
[0014] The client device 120 is connected or coupled via a link 140 to the communication network 110.
[0015] The client device 120 includes communication software to enable a user to access the server 130 through an SNS application, e.g., a microblog application, an IM application installed in the client device 120 or an SNS platform, e.g., a webpage provided by the server 130.
[0016] The server 130 may support SNS services (such as microblog, QQ webspace, etc.), i.e., allow users to send and receive SNS messages. The server 130 may support other services related to SNS.
[0017] Link 140 represents any suitable communication link or similar communication mechanism including some combination of a hardwired connection, a connection for telephone access via radio, infrared or other wireless communication methodologies (i.e., "Wi-Fi" or "Wi-max", "Bluetooth", infrared, etc.), private or proprietary local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as standard computer network communications over the communication network 110, or any other suitable connection between computers and computer components known to those skilled in the art, whether currently known or developed in the future.
[0018] Server 130 in FIG. 1 represents a computer system that is made available to the client device 120 via link 140 and the communication network 110. [0027] At block S102, in responses to a network social information update request, the client device displays an SNS page containing the living service information.
[0028] The network social information update request may be triggered by a user of the client device, or generated automatically by the client device. For example, the client device may generate the network social information update request periodically or when the user logs in the SNS application installed in the client device or SNS platform provided by a server.
[0029] In one embodiment, the SNS page may further include social information. The client device may receive the social information from the server or other client devices, and loads the obtained social information to the above SNS page, such that the SNS page includes the living service information and the social information. The social information may be messages published by friends in a friend list of the user of the client device, e.g., text and/or pictures published by the friends in the friend list.
[0030] In the above technical solution, the living service information may be displayed in the SNS page. The SNS page has information sharing and interaction functions. Thus, sharing and interaction of the living service information may be realized.
[0031] The SNS page in the embodiment of the present disclosure may be a webpage provided by an SNS server, such as a microblog page, QQ web space, etc. The SNS page may also be an interface displayed by the SNS application installed in the client device.
[0032] FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of a method for displaying living service information according to the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the client device obtains the living service information from an SNS server. As shown in FIG. 3, the method includes the following.
[0033] At block S301 , a client device transmits a living service information request message to an SNS server, such that the SNS server returns living service information to the client device according to the living service information request message.
[0034] The living service information may include at least one of: weather information, air quality information, constellation information, almanac information and geographic location information.
[0035] The weather information may include current weather information, and may further include future weather information, e.g., weather information of a future week. Similarly, the air quality information, the constellation information and the almanac information may include current air quality information, constellation information and almanac information, or include current and future air quality information, constellation information and almanac information. The above living service information request message may further include time information, e.g., time information of the client device. The SNS server returns the living service information corresponding to the time information. The geographic location information may be the geographic location information of the client device.
[0036] The air quality information may be PM 2.5 information.
[0037] At block S302, the client device receives the living service information transmitted by the SNS server.
[0038] At block S303, in response to a network social information update request, the client device displays an SNS page containing the living service information.
[0039] In one embodiment, block S303 may include the following.
[0040] In responses to the network social information update request, the client device overlays the living service information in the SNS page as a watermark, and displays the SNS page.
[0041] In particular, the watermark may be overlaid in a personal background, i.e., a cover, of the SNS page, as shown in FIG. 4 which shows an embodiment of the SNS page containing living service information according to the present disclosure. FIG. 4 shows two SNS pages 400 and 410. In the SNS page 400, the living service information is the weather information, and in the SNS page 410, the living service information is the constellation information. In FIG. 4, the watermark 401 is overlaid in the bottom-right corner of the personal background 402 (the rectangle filled with biases) of the SNS pages 400 and 410. The watermark may be semi-transparent. In FIG. 4, the watermark 401 shows weather information or constellation information. It should be noted that, the watermark 401 may also show other information such as almanac information according to user's configuration.
[0042] Besides the living service information overlaid in the personal background 402 of the SNS pages 400 and 410, the SNS pages 400 and 410 may further include social information 404 published by users, e.g., text and/or pictures published by friends in a friend list of the user.
[0043] In one embodiment, the watermark 401 overlaid in the SNS page may be brief information of the living service information. Detailed living service information may be displayed in another SNS page in response to a user's input which triggers the display of the detailed living service information. FIG. 5 shows an embodiment of an SNS page containing detailed living service information according to the present disclosure. When the user triggers to show the detailed living service information, e.g., clicks the watermark 401 , the SNS pages 500 and 510 (respectively corresponding to the SNS pages 400 and 410) containing the detailed living service information 502 is displayed.
[0044] In one embodiment, the watermark 401 overlaid in the SNS pages 400 and 410 includes current living service information. The future living service information 504 may be displayed in pages 500 and 510 which are displayed in response to the user's input.
[0045] In block S301 , the living service information request message transmitted by the client device to the SNS server may include geographic location information of the client device.
[0046] Thus, after receiving the living service information request message, the SNS server may return the living service information corresponding to the geographic location information of the client device. For example, the living service information includes weather information and/or air information of a geographic location corresponding to the geographic location information. In one example, the geographic location information denotes city A. Accordingly, the living service information includes the living service information of city A, e.g., weather information and/or air information of city A.
[0047] In one embodiment, the geographic location information may be history geographic location information stored in the client device or current geographic location information obtained by the client device. For example, before block S301 , the method may further include block S300.

It is also possible to obtain the living service information according to GPS information, e.g., obtain the living service information of a city corresponding to the GPS information. It is also possible to obtain the living service information according to the POI information, e.g., obtain the living service information of a city corresponding to the POI information.
[0053] The request message may include an identifier used for indicating whether the living service information is to be obtained according to IP address, or GPS information or POI information. For example, the identifier may be noted by 1 bit. If the value of the bit is 1 , it is indicated that the living service information is obtained according to GPS information. If the value of the bit is 0, it is indicated that the living service information is obtained according to the POI information.
[0054] The client device may determine whether the history geographic location information is overdue through the following.
[0055] The client device determines whether the history geographic location information stored in the client device meets a predefined condition. If yes, it is determined that the history geographic location information is overdue; otherwise, it is determined that the history geographic location information is not overdue. The predefined condition may include at least one of the following.
[0056] One of a longitude value and a latitude value of the history geographic location information equals to a value of IP positioning of the client device (e.g., 900000000) and the history geographic location information is cached for more than a predefined period (e.g., 5 minutes).
[0057] The above mentioned one of the longitude value and the latitude value of the history geographic location information equals to the value of IP positioning means that, the history geographic location information includes longitude value or latitude value which is failed to be obtained, i.e., the longitude value or the latitude value is a meaningless value.
[0058] In one embodiment, the request message may further include geographic location information different from the geographic location information of the client device, e.g., geographic location information of country A, so as to obtain the living service information of other geographic locations.
[0059] In one embodiment, the above block S301 may be executed periodically and the periodicity may be adjusted according to load of the communication platform. For example, if the SNS server has a heavy load, the periodicity may be lengthened. If the SNS server has a light load, the periodicity may be shortened. The adjustment may be performed by the user or automatically according to information indicating the load of the SNS server transmitted by the SNS server.
[0060] FIG. 6 shows another embodiment of a method for displaying living service information according to the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 6, the method includes the following.
