[OOOlj The application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 201.310332760.8, filed August 2, 2013, incorporated by reference herein for all purposes.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Certain embodiments of the present invention are directed to computer technology. More particularly, some embodiments of the invention pro vide systems and methods for display techno logy. Merely by way of example, some embodiments of the invention have been applied to microblogs. But it would be recognized that the invention has a much broader range of applicability.
[0003] V arious information devices have come into being in today's information age. Moreover, with the advent of the integration of consumer electronics, computers and communications (3C), people are increasingly focused on the research of comprehensive utilization of information devices in different fields, so as to make full use of existing resource devices to provide better sendees for people. Operations of the resource de vices often involve the processing of computer files.
[0004] Microblogs is related to an information sharing, spreading and acquiring platform based on user relations. Users can update information using around 140 characters and share instantly via microblogs by applying WEB, WAP and various client components. Compared with a blog that emphasizes on layout arrangement, microblog content includes a few simple words. Technical knowledge requirements for users are very low from this perspective, and editing and language organization of microblogs are not as hard as a blog. Various APIs supporting microblogs allow a large number of users to instantly update their personal information via mobile phones, on a network or in other ways. Microblogs have a higher grassroots presence, and are widely distributed on multiple platforms, such as a desktop, a browser and a mobile terminal. A variety of coexisting business models exist for microblogs. There is a possibility of forming a plurality of vertical and segmented fields. Today, microblogs ha ve become part of life of many people for getting
information, making contacts with other people and for entertainment. The social aspects of microblogs have even been integrated with entertainment. For example, users can play some social games on microblogs with friends.
[0005] The above-noted conventional technology has some disadvantages. For example, point of interest (ΡΟΪ) information can be displayed in a microblog, and a related electronic map can be browsed by triggering the POI information. However, this approach includes just a simple display of the electronic map without direct correlation with the microblog, and is not conducive to
transmission of microblog information.
[0006] Hence it is highly desirable to improve the techniques for displaying microblogs. According to one embodiment, a method is provided for displaying street view microblog.
For example, first location information is acquired; first microblog information including the first location information and one or more first microblog contents is transmitted; first street view information corresponding to the first location information is received; and the first street view information and the first microblog contents are displayed.
[0008] According to another embodiment, a device for displaying street view microblogs includes: an information transmitting unit, an information receiving unit, and an information displaying unit. The information transmitting unit is configured to acquire first location information and transmit first microblog information including the first location information and one or more first microblog contents. The information receiving unit is configured to receive first street view information corresponding to the first location information. The information displaying unit is configured to display the first street view information and the first microblog contents.
[0009] According to yet another embodiment, a method is provided for displaying street view microblog. For example, first microblog information including first location information and one or more first microblog contents is received; first street view information corresponding to the first location information is searched for; and the first street view information displayed together with the first microblog contents is transmitted.
[0010] In one embodiment, a device for displaying street view microblogs includes: a microblog information receiving unit, a searching unit, and a street view information transmitting unit. The microblog information receiving unit is configured to receive first microblog information including first location information and one or more first microblog contents. The searching unit is configured to search for first street view information corresponding to the first location information. The street view information transmitting unit is configured to transmit the first street view information displayed together with the first microblog contents.
[0011] In another embodiment, a system for displaying street view microblogs includes: a client and a server. The client is configured to acquire location information and transmit microblog information including the location information and one or more microblog contents to the server. The server is configured to receive the microblog information including the location information and the microblog contents from the client, search for street view information corresponding to the location information, and transmit the street view information to the client. The client is further configured to display the street view information and the microblog contents.
[0012] In yet another embodiment, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium includes programming instructions for displaying street view microblog. The programming instructions are configured to cause one or more data processors to execute certain operations. For example, first location information is acquired; first microblog information including the first location information to the first location information is received; and the first street view information and the first microblog contents are displayed.
[0013] According to yet another embodiment, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium includes programming instructions for displaying street view microblog. The programming instructions are configured to cause one or more data processors to execute certain operations. For example, first microblog information including first location information and one or more first microblog contents is received; first street view information corresponding to the first location information is searched for; and the first street view information displayed together with the first microblog contents is transmitted.
[0014] For example, the systems and methods disclosed herein are configured to display street view information and microblog contents associated with location information so as to facilitate transmission of microblog information. As an example, the systems and methods disclosed herein are configured to display adjacent microblogs or messages over street view information to improve the transmission efficiency of microblog information. For example, the systems and methods disclosed herein are configured to segment street view information according to microblog contents of adjacent microblog information to fully display microblog information.
[0015] Depending upon embodiment, one or more benefits may be achieved. These benefits and various additional objects, features and advantages of the present invention can be fully appreciated with reference to the detailed description and accompanying drawings that follow.

[0024] Figure 1 is a simplified diagram showing a method for displaying street view microblogs according to one embodiment of the present invention. The diagram is merely an example, which should not unduly limit the scope of the claims. One of ordinary skill in the art would recognize many variations, alternatives, and modifications. The method 100 includes at least processes 101- 103. For example, the method 100 is executed on a client.
[0025] According to one embodiment, during the process 101, a client acquires first location information, and transmits microblog information including the first location information and one or more first microblog contents. For example, the client can acquire its own location information, and transmits microblog information including its own location information and the first microblog contents expected to be posted to a server. In another example, the client can also acquire any location information which is not related to the client's current location information, and transmits microblog information including the acquired location information not related to the current location information and the first microblog contents expected to be posted to the server. As an example, the location information includes but is not limited to longitude and latitude, road network information, point of interest (POI) information, full address, and so on, at the current location of the client.
[0026] According to another embodiment, during the process 102, the client receives street view information corresponding to the first location information. For example, after receiving the first location information (e.g., location information of the client, location information not related to the current location information of the client, etc.) transmitted by the client, the server searches for street view information corresponding to the first location information, and transmits the street view information to the client. As an example, street view information includes a 360-degree panoramic image of a city street shot by a professional camera, and a three-dimensional image simulated using a two-dimensional image is provided to a user using a media player.
[0027] According to some embodiments, compared with an ordinary image, a street view image has the following advantages: (1) it provides a better immersion, thereby providing a user with a sense of actually being there in person; (2) geographical location information is provided to facilitate positioning; and (3) batch production is performed along streets, so that a large amount of location information is covered. Because the street view has the above advantages, the street view is very suitable for a variety of applications relevant to location information, according to certain
embodiments.
[0028] In one embodiment, street view information includes a street view image. In another embodiment, street view information corresponds to a storage identification of a street view image, e.g., a street view image identification. For example, the street view image identification is used to information. In another example, the client can retrieve a corresponding street view image by the street view image identification and acquire location information corresponding to the street view image.
[0029] in yet another embodiment, during the process 103, the client displays the street view information and the first microblog contents. For example, the client displays the street view information and the first microblog contents. As an example, the client displays the first microblog contents over the street view information (e.g., in an overlaying manner). As another example, the client displays the street view information in a preview and displays the first microblog contents around the street view information,
[0030] According io certain embodiments, a user posts a broadcast microbiog with POI information on a microblog client, and a microblog server sends a request to a street view server according to the POI information. For example, the street view server determines whether street view identification corresponding to the POI information exists. In another example, if the street view identification exists, the microblog server returns the street view identification to inform the microblog client, and the microblog client adds a schematic identification in front of the microblog POI information. In yet another example, when a user enters a microblog detail page by clicking on the schematic identification, the microblog client requests a street view client to check whether a preview corresponding to the street view identification exists according to the current longitude and latitude of the user. I n yet another example, if the preview corresponding to the street view identification exists, the preview is displayed on the microblog client. In yet another example, if the preview corresponding to the street view identification doesn't exist, a default map is shown, and is displayed at a regional map street view entrance. Microblog information includes location information of microblogs, so that distances between microblogs can be calculated, according to some embodiments.
[0031] In certain embodiments, other microblog information geographically close to the microblog location information can be displayed in a microblog street view image. For example, assuming that location information corresponding to a microblog street view image is "Wudaokou, Beijing," other microblog information including location information close to the "Wudaokou, Beijing" can be displayed.
[0032] In some embodiments, a preset geographic range (e.g., 1 km) can be set. For example, other microblog information within the preset geographic range away from "Wudaokou, Beijing" corresponds to adjacent microblog information of the microblog corresponding to the "Wudaokou, Beijing".
[0033] According to some embodiments, the method 100 further includes: the client receives one or more second microblog contents of adjacent microblog information, where second location preset geographical range. For example, the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information are displayed over the street view information in an overlaying manner. A preset number of second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information can be received, in some embodiments. For example, the client can also display messages associated with the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information over the street view information in an overlaying manner. As an example, assuming that the location information corresponding to a microblog street view image includes "Wudaokou, Beijing" and the microblog contents include "Wudaokou is really busy", comment messages associated with the microblog content of
"Wudaokou is real ly busy" can be displayed while the location information of the comment messages is disregarded.
[0034] According to certain embodiments, street view message data includes a special microblog bound with the longitude and the latitude of the location of a street view message, and can be sa ved in a manner similar to that of a microblog with a location. For example, for the street view message data, a grid ID is calculated according to the latitude and longitude of the street view location, and then the message microblog and the grid ID are associatively saved.
[0035] According to some embodiments, street view microblog displaying algorithms includes street view message data displaying and screening algorithms. For example, the grid ID is calculated according to the longitude and the latitude of a street view location point, and searching and filtering are carried out according to distances. In another example, the distance searching includes general filtering according to longitude distances and precise distance filtering,
[0036] According to certain embodiments, the method 100 further includes: receiving messages associated with the second microblog contents of adjacent microblog information, where second location information of the adjacent microblog information and the first location in formal ion are within a preset geographical range; and displaying the messages associated with the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information over the street view information in an overlaying manner.
[0037] In one embodiment, the method 100 further includes: receiving one or more second microblog contents of adjacent microblog information and messages associated with the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information. For example, second location
information of the adjacent microblog information and the first location information are within a preset geographical range, and the sum of a first number of the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information and a second number of the messages associated with the second microlog content of the adjacent microlog information is equal to a preset third number. In another example, the method 100 further includes: displaying the second microblog contents of the adjacent adjacent microblog information over the street view information in an overlaying manner, [0038] In another embodiment, the displaying the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information over the street view information in the overlaying manner includes:
segmenting the street view information according to the number of the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information; and drawing (e.g., equally) bitmap textures for the second microblog contents of the adjacent microblog information in the segmented street view information.
[0039] According to some embodiments, after a user clicks on a preview at a microblog client, a request for a street view image of a current location is sent to a street view server first. For example, geographic information (e.g., an entiy point) of the microblog is taken as a center. As an example, a request to pull all surrounding broadcasts (e.g., n pieces) within a preset range (e.g., 1 km) and all messages (e.g., m pieces) in the location are sent to a microblog server. In another example, according to a cake-cutting algorithm, all of the microblogs and messages are collected together at certain angles for displaying. In yet another example, the cake-cutting algorithm includes: 360 degrees are evenly divided into m+n blocks, where each block displays a microblog overlay and each microblog overlay includes a microblog or a message. In yet another example, a state
(QStreetViewInfoInii) is called back after a street view is completely loaded so as to inform a client. For example, the client ensures that the street view is first displayed on a screen, and then the microblogs and the messages are displayed.
[0040] According to certain embodiments, there are seven adjacent microblog broadcasts and one message. For example, in a 360-degree viewing angle range of a street view, the microblog client calculates one or more offsets of longitude, latitude and/or height, and draws bitmap textures for a microblog overlay into the street view according to the offsets. In another example, the microblog client displays a street view microblog according to one or more rules so that the seven microblog broadcasts and one message in n broadcasts are staggered and uniformly tiled and displayed. In yet another example, the microblog overlay is displayed by mainly taking the distance between a first-added overlay and a scene as a focus length, and is displayed at a normal ratio. If other overlays are relatively far, the other overlays are displayed after being reduced by 0.5, in some embodiments. If other overlays are closer, the other overlays are displayed after being enlarged by 1.5, in certain embodiments.
[0041] According to some embodiments, all sizes in a street view are 2 times larger than original sizes when overlays are drawn. For example, when textures are drawn, all overlay sizes are enlarged by 2, and then the overlays are put into the street view for displaying. As an example, when a user clicks on an arrow to change a scene, the microblog client displays again seven pieces of information in a next broadcast. As another example, the microblog client takes a current POI as a center, and again pulls all surrounding microblogs within a range (e.g., 1 km) away from the current POL As yet another example, each scene has three steps corresponding to 30 meters. As yet another example, in case of a crossing, it is adjusted to one step. The user can view a broadcast in a 360-degree rotating manner, according to certain embodiments. For example, the first time entry is at 65 degrees. It changes to 45 degrees upon a double-click for one-level enlargement, and then changes to 20 degrees upon another double-click for another one-level enlargement. In another example, the arrow can be clicked for advancing to view a new broadcast.
[0042] According to certain embodiments, a user click on a broadcast updates a current clicked overlay, and draws a forward comment button which disappears once a keyboard pops up. For example, a user can click on a head portrait to enter personal information, and click on an image to view a large image or an original image. In another example, it returns directly to any loca tion of the current clicked overlay.
[0043] According to some embodiments, for message display, after a user enters a street view image, a client, according to current POI, requests the amount of messages and content of the POI from a microblog server and places the messages and the content of the POI in a reasonable location using a falling animation. For example, when the amount of messages calculated by a background component is greater than one, the client performs corresponding modification on message texts. As an example, after the message is clicked, a text carried by the street view during sharing can be filtered out. As another example, when a message is viewed by clicking, a floating layer pops up, and the client can hide all message overlays below the floating layer, which can be viewed again after the message is closed by clicking. As yet another example, when a broadcast keyboard in a forward comment street view pops up or a message is viewed by clicking, the response to gravity- sensing at a microblog client is not available, so that the street view does not rotate as a mobile phone is shaken.
[0044] According to certain embodiments, street view microblog data can be reserved in a server. For example, the street view microblog data includes microblog information with location
information (e.g., longitude and latitude, road network information, POI information, full address, etc. of a sender) and is sent by a user via a microblog mobile phone client or other mobile browsers supporting a positioning function,
[0045] According to some embodiments, after a microblog with a location sent by a user is received, a microblog server calculates a grid ID where the longitude and the latitude are located by using the longitude and the latitude information of the location according to a grid generation algorithm. For example, the microblog and the grid ID are associatively saved for displaying the street view microblog. As an example, one or more mutually adjacent grid IDs can be determined according to a current grid ID, and adjacent microblog information can be searched for based on the current grid ID and the adjacent grid ID, so as to save computing resources. As another example, a longitudinal distances and latitudinal distances. In some embodiments, the longitudinal distance calculation formula involves calculation of a distance between two points with longitudes and latitudes at a same longitude to reduce a range associated with distance conditions, so that the calculation amount is reduced and the processing speed is improved. For example, a distance associated with one degree of latitude at a same longitude is determined: LON DIST=111319.5 m.
[0046] In one embodiment, assuming that the longitude and the latitude of a street view correspond to (latl, lonl) and the longitude and the latitude of a microblog correspond to (lat2, lon2), the longitudinal distance caiculation formula is: jlatl~lat2j*LON DIST. For example, the distance between every two degrees of longitude is approximately the same, and an approximate
determination is made without complex calculations.
[0047] In another embodiment, a C language code for calculating a precise distance associated with the longitude and the latitude includes:
double drad(long d)
{
return d / 1000000.0 * 3.141592652 / 180.0;
} double distance(long latl, long lonl, long lat2, long lon2)
{
double radLatl = drad(latl);
double radLat-2 = drad(lat2);
double a = radLatl - radLat2;
double b = drad(lonl) - drad(lon2);
double s = 2 * asin(sqrt(pow(sin( a/2 ), 2) + cos(radLatl) * cos(radLat2) * pow(sin( b/2 ), 2)));
s = s * 6378137 ;// EARTH _ RADIUS;
s rounds s * 10000) / 10000;
return s;
[0048] In some embodiments, a user can post street view microblogs on various terminals, and these terminals can include: a functional cell phone, a smart phone, a hand-held computer, a personal computer (PC), a tablet personal computer, a personal digital assistant (PD A), etc,
