Abstract

The invention relates to a paint container, of the type that is used mainly to store and distribute paints for manual arts, said paints being especially for children, the container (1) being formed by a receptacle (2) for containing said paint, having a paintbrush with a cup-type element which is also a top (4), said receptacle (2) comprising a cylindrical body (7) for introducing said paintbrush, designed to prevent the rising of the paintbrush through the inside thereof, which extends from the upper part of the container to the inside thereof.

Description

PACKAGING FOR FIELD PAINTINGS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims at a container for paints, of the type used to store and distribute paints intended for handicrafts, especially those paints aimed at children, in which the package has been designed to optimize its functions in relation to user sector to which it is intended, incorporating, among other features, a dry cylinder, without paint, where the brush is introduced, all in a package configured according to the described in the appended claims.

BACKGROUND

There are innumerable types of containers and cans of paints, some of them even have a brush incorporated into the cap of the container, so that the same action of returning the brush to its place, covering the container, preserves both the brush and ensures the contents of the container

Such arrangements are relatively common applied to containers of lacquers or nail polishes, adhesives, etc. that incorporate in this way, in the same container, your application brush. These are small containers that allow the handling of the brush with the cap is not a difficult or strange task, as would be the case if the cap and the container were larger. Spanish patent ES2154064 is known which is a container provided with a brush for a cyanoacrylate adhesive. The cap of the container is the support for a brush forming part of it, a cap that is threaded by an elongated cylindrical neck to which it wraps.

The Spanish utility model ES1058749_U develops a paint container with a cap with an application brush that has an internal inclined shelf with holes for the purpose of draining the brush or resting it so that the paint that drags the brush is unloaded inside the can . The objective is an easy-to-use paint canister that prevents the user from staining thanks to the protective cup that represents the plug and the draining surface that allows the paint to get rid of excess paint.

At present, at home, as well as in centers of entertainment and / or early childhood education, it is common to use paintings offered to children so they can express themselves and become familiar with drawing and artistic creation, at the same time They are entertaining. The type of utensils they use must have an adequate size for handling by children and to avoid, as far as possible, their loss or other accidents.

The centers and users of this type of packaging can thank the possibility of using large and cheaper containers, and even refillables to replace the most depleted paints. The present invention, thus, has as one of its main inventive objects the provision of a paint container suitable for child handling that incorporates a brush that can be attached to the container cap, being applicable to different sizes of paint container.

Another of the main objectives of the present invention is a constructive form that avoids to the maximum the possibilities of staining of paint, for example by dripping of the brush.

The invention also aims to incorporate the appropriate form of the container to optimize the use of the paint, taking into account the main audience to which these packages are directed, a child user.

These and other advantages of the present invention will be more apparent throughout the description thereof.

BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention describes a container of paints, especially those paints oriented to a child audience, describing the type of containers that are used to store and distribute paintings intended for handicrafts. Said container has a narrow cylinder where the brush is placed; the cylinder is extended towards the inside of the container, with the particularity that the paint does not ascend through said cylindrical tube and consequently the body of the brush when it is stored or when it is inserted into the canister to obtain paint from it.

In one of the possible embodiments of the invention, the container has a main cap with a crank or cylindrical projection protruding from the top of the cap, offering a bonding zone for the brush cap. In this embodiment there is in fact a double cap, the cap of the container itself and a smaller cap with the attached brush, forming a removable assembly that facilitates its use.

This brush cap is in fact a bowl that serves as a protection, acting as a barrier, against the paint that can slide from the tip of the brush and reach the area of the hands.

In another of the preferred embodiments of the invention, the container does not incorporate a brush, the cylinder being internal and dry, closed superiorly by its own cap. This embodiment allows using any technique brush, of adequate size to the cylinder section and the container.

The package also has a concave bottom, more or less pronounced according to embodiments, the purpose of which is to avoid paint losses and consequently the use of all the paint contained in the container is guaranteed. In this way all the proposed inventive objects have been obtained, making a paint container, designed for the little ones, which incorporates ease of use and use of the paint contained in the package.

Figure 5 is a schematic representation of another of the possible embodiments of the present invention, showing a main cap and an own cap for the dry cylinder of the container and brush inlet.

Figure 6 is a sectional view of another case of practical embodiment with a plug with a plunger that seals the brush inlet cylinder.

DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention consists of a container for paints, of the type of packs that are mainly used for storing and distributing paints intended for handicrafts, especially said paints to a child audience, the container (1) being formed by a container (2) contain such paint.

This container (2) or the main cap (3), depending on each embodiment, have a cylinder (7) that emerges from the upper area of the container (1) entering the container (2). This cylinder (7) has a suitable section diameter so that the brush can be introduced comfortably without touching the walls.

The length or height of said cylinder (7) as well as the size of its cross section are suitable for configuring said cylinder as a dry cylinder, without the paint contained in the container (2) ascending therein.

The pressure balance that is created inside the cylinder (7) between the atmospheric pressure, which is introduced by the cylinder when we uncover the cap that discovers it, and the total pressure of the other part, sum of the pressure exerted by the weight of the paint and that made by the weight of the air from the top to the liquid of the container (2 ), which is very small or non-existent if it has been vacuum packed, prevents the paint from ascending through the cylinder (7), remaining in the lower part of the cylinder and configuring it as a dry and unpainted cylinder, being an application of Torricelli principle.

In the embodiment of the invention shown in Figures 1 to 3, the container (2) has a main cap (3) and said cap has a neck (9) which is the opening of the container (1) that extends inferiorly in said cylinder (7).

The invention is capable of being carried out, as is obvious, without said main cap (3), so that the same container (2) forms the neck (9) and the cylinder (7). In this embodiment, very similar to that shown with the main cap in Figure 5, a cap (4) can be attached to said neck (4), enabling or not enabling access to the dry cylinder (7).

In other embodiments, such as those shown in Figures 1 to 4, this plug (4) incorporates, being part of it, a brush. This brush is further formed by a brush (5) and a handle (6) protruding externally from said cap (4), said brush (5) being suitable for the application of the paint contained in the container (2). In some embodiments of the invention the connection of the cap (4) with the container is by pressure. For example, this plug (4) can be made of a slightly flexible material that fits, sealing, on the neck (9). Since there is no thread or blockage, the child can easily remove the brush with its cap (4).

This results in a very convenient result for the purposes and objects of the present invention. The brush is configured to only protrude from the lower part of said cylinder (7), impregnated with paint, its brush (5) or a part thereof. As even if the paint container (2) is fully filled, the level of said paint does not rise through the cylinder (7) but is kept in its lower area, the body of the brush does not smear with paint, with the consequent relief of loading paint on the brush and the correction of dripping of the same on the occasion of its use.

This is a very useful advantage of the invention when it is thought that it is intended primarily for a child audience with which all precautions are few to prevent children from getting dirty by doing crafts.

At the end of using the paint the child is enough to place the plug (4) that carries the brush in solidarity in the container (1) by pressing said cap (4) against the neck (9) what due to the nature of the wrapped materials, produces a tight seal.

Another alternative possibility to the previous one is the threaded joint, as shown in figure 4. All the mentioned unions obtain a tight seal of the package. Airtight closure that prevents deterioration of the paint by exchange with the outside.

The invention envisages, in this regard, the use of a first use guarantee seal, for example by means of a plastic film seal. So that the buyer of the paint container according to the present invention is guaranteed to be its first user.

The simplicity of use and the non-existence of difficult openings or closures or that require an adult force, facilitates the children's use of the container.

Naturally, although the invention is preferably intended for use by a child user, it could be adapted and configured with non-essential modifications for an adult audience, for example with larger paint containers, threaded stopper brushes (4), as in the case of figure 4, etc.

It follows from the constructive nature of the present invention, that the paint container (1) that it represents, facilitates the filling, if deemed convenient, of the paint of the container, by allowing a larger filling diameter by removing the main plug ( 3) that removing the cap (4). On the other hand, the eventual existence of two caps, one the cap of the main container (3) and another the cap (4) that can be integral with the brush, allow the invention to adapt to different sizes of packages because the cap (4) that It is the one that is lifted, it is made of an independent size of the diameter of the container (2) or the diameter of the main cap (3), so that when using a brush that incorporates the cap (4) it is not loaded with an excessive weight of the assembly nor does it have to hold a cumbersome and disproportionate plug.

In addition, even though the plug (4) is smaller than the main plug (3), it also serves a protective function, such as in the bowl of a sword, to prevent the child from staining when the brush is carelessly reversed. The plug (4) collects the fallen paint and protects your hands from staining.

Another great advantage of using a double cap is that the easement of the brush to the container cap would make the perimeter areas of the bottom of the container inaccessible. With the present invention this inconvenience does not exist because the user, if found convenient, can use the container (1) by completely removing the main cap (3), then easily accessing any area of the base of the container (2) to take advantage of all the paint in the container (1).

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, however, this container (2) is made with a bottom concave (8). The inclination of these walls is variable depending on the nature of the paint, the size of the container, etc. Its purpose is to avoid areas in the container (2) that are somewhat more difficult to access with the brush as a result of the existence of the dry cylinder (7), as would be the area near the perimeter of the base, if it were flat. The inclination of the bottom (8) causes the paint to fall towards the center of the container (2) accessible directly with the brush without any effort.

The invention contemplates, as shown in the figures, a double inclination of the bottom, in which said bottom (8) of more pronounced inclination is present.

The cylinder (7) is also a drainer for the excess paint on the brush, because when it is removed the child inadvertently trips over the walls of this cylinder (7), losing some of the paint content of the tip of the brush that falls back into the container (2).

The cylinder (7), mentioned above that extends superiorly in a neck (9) can in fact have different diameters in its upper part, in the neck (9) and in the lower one.

The invention is susceptible, in its different embodiments, to use or adapt to different types of handles, elongated, narrow, more or less stylized, wide, with protrusions, grip supports, etc., without representing a substantial variation of the invention.

Any type of paint or liquid content, in a broad sense, can be used in the paint container (1) of the present invention. However, the paints that are usually adopted for children are usually water-based paints that allow easy washing of the same, without requiring chemical solvents. Vinyl latex paint, water, is a type of paint of this type.

Another of the possible embodiments of the invention uses a plug (4) having a downward extension inside the cylinder (7), for example with the shape of a piston (10), in order to seal the inside of the cylinder (7 ) from its lower end and prevent it from being impregnated with paint.

It is understood that in the present case, how many details of finish and shape may not change the essence of the invention can be variable.

Claims
