Abstract
The present invention provides a device (100) for cloud based monitoring and control of farm equipment, wherein the device (100) comprises a cellular module (102), radio frequency (RF) module (103), micro SD card (104), flash memory (105), general purpose input/output (GPIO) module (106), accelerometer (107), user interface (108)and a microcontroller (101). The cellular module (102) allows communication between the device (100) and a system hosted on cloud environment. The RF module (103) and GPIO module (106) allow communication of data and control signals between the device (100) and farm equipment. The microcontroller (101) is connected to the cellular module (102), RF module (103), micro SD card (104), flash memory (105), GPIO module (106), accelerometer (107) and the user interface (108). The microcontroller (101) controls the cellular module (102) in communicating the data and control signals with the system.
