Abstract

The invention relates to an electric motor (150) comprising: a permanently magnetic rotor (152); a stator (154) having a stator core (200; 300), on which a stator winding assembly (155) is arranged and which produces a reluctance auxiliary torque in interaction with the rotor (152), wherein the stator core (200; 300) comprises an iron core (250; 350), which is made of a first material, and at least one flux-collecting apparatus (260, 270), which is made of a second material and which is arranged on an axial end (252, 254) of the iron core (250; 350), wherein the first material has lower alternating-field losses than the second material, wherein the iron core (250; 350) is designed to transmit a driving torque to the rotor (152), and wherein the flux-collecting apparatus (260, 270) is designed to produce the reluctance auxiliary torque in order to effect a positioning of the rotor (152) in at least one specified rest position in the currentless state of the stator winding assembly (155), in which at least one specified rest position a torque on the rotor (152) can be produced by the stator winding assembly (155).
