La présente invention porte sur un procédé et un dispositif de sélection intelligente de mots, le procédé consistant à: détecter une première zone sélectionnée par un contact d'un doigt d'un utilisateur dans un état de sélection de mots; acquérir le texte de la première zone; apparier le texte à une liste de mots fréquents afin d'obtenir des mots fréquents figurant dans le texte, les mots fréquents stockés dans la liste de mots fréquents étant les mots dont la fréquence de recherche atteint un seuil spécifié; et afficher les mots fréquents obtenus pour que l'utilisateur effectue une sélection. Le dispositif comprend un module de détection, un module d'acquisition, un module d'appariement et un module d'affichage. La présente invention réalise une sélection intelligente de mots, améliore la précision de sélection de mots, et facilite des opérations subséquentes.
