Abstract

Eine Brandschutzglasscheibe aus einem Kalknatronglas weist einen unteren Kühlpunkt oberhalb von 520°C und beispielsweise einen Erweichungspunkt von 640°C und höher und einem thermischen Ausdehnungskoeffizient von kleiner 85 x 10-7 K-1 auf und ist thermisch vorgespannt. Dadurch wird eine erhöhte Druckspannung im Vergleich zu handelsüblichen Kalknatronglas ermöglicht, was eine erhöhte Stabilität der Brandschutzglasscheibe zur Folge hat.
