Abstract

The present invention relates to a user terminal capable of self-charging by using a sunlight charging unit and may comprise: a terminal main body comprising a battery and a display unit; a light-emitting unit positioned at the bottom of the display unit and capable of emitting light on both sides thereof in a first direction toward the display and a second direction toward a sunlight charging unit; the sunlight charging unit for converting, into electrical energy, the light received in the second direction from the light-emitting unit and charging the battery using the converted electrical energy; and a control unit for detecting the charging amount of the battery and controlling the light-emitting unit on the basis of the result of the detection.
