Description

BASE DE LUMINARIAS  BASE OF LUMINAIRES
CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓN  FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The illustrated embodiments of the present invention relate in general to bases for luminaires and more particularly, to bases for luminaires of the type that are composed of a flexible main body that allows easy coupling or release of the pressure luminaires without implementation of extra attachments.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently, a plurality of bases for luminaires are used, among the most common are those referring to those that are essentially characterized by being constituted by an elastic retaining element determined by a metal filar spring that, at one of its ends, is fixed to the corresponding supporting surface by means of a suitable clamp, while the other end, which constitutes the support arm itself, has the appropriate profile and dimensions to grip and adapt to the contour of the corresponding electrical element constituted by a fluorescent tube or by an accessory belonging to such lighting equipment, said spring being fixed in such a way to the corresponding support surface that it is constantly held in a tensioned or grasped position, automatically recovering its inactive or folded position when its arms stop retaining to the respective electric element or. Another commonly used system is the "HID removable disk system assembly" in which the luminaire is supported and wired to the line by means of an assembly with a 1/2 "nipple and a rigid conduit of the desired length. It is completed with a terminal and termination pieces, a 1/2 "conduit hanger connection and a duct hanger to form a continuous line. The system can be wired through a terminal or by directly entering one of the removable disks. The ballasts can be connected to one of the removable disks by means of the fixtures of the luminaires; in installations with remote ballasts the hangers support both types of installations. Another commonly used system refers to the "connection systems with removable disk", the fixation is connected to the line by a 1/2 nipple assembled on the removable disk of the profile; the terminal, the terminal cover, the connector for conduit and the pipe hanger complete the assembly of this solution.A modality of the same contemplates the connection system with the grooving down where the conduit enters the line through a terminal and the opening of the corrugated profile is closed with termination pieces, so the lamp is fastened and wired by means of the wiring nut; finally, the system is supported by means of the hanger and the line can be joined by means of the splice. There are currently several proposals for bases or gutters for the luminaire bracket For example, US Patent No. 6, 210, 019 describes a lamp holder, particularly fluorescent lamps that includes an assembly and fastening chains attached to a channel that is attached to the ceiling, said assembly is movable between an installation position suspended by means of the chains and the operating position secured to the channel by the chains.
A disadvantage of the luminaire support in US 6,210,019 is that said patent comprises a support structure formed by a channel formed by a metal plate, which is attached to the ceiling; said channel serves as a support for luminaires; however, unlike the proposed invention, this requires other means for fastening the luminaire, for example; the chains that serve as support between the base of the luminaire and the support channel. The present invention has the advantage over said patent 6, 210, 019 since it allows the assembly of the luminaire without the need of any other means of support, providing the system with practicality and avoiding unnecessary expenses as it is a simple, economic and easy to use US Patent No. 6, 752, 513 B2 describes a support system for fluorescent lamp, said patent is related to facilitating the installation of luminaires to fastening structures.
US Patent No. 6, 752, 513 B2 describes an anchor that facilitates the coupling of luminaires mainly of the fluorescent type, said invention has a low profile reflector which is installed inside the ceiling where it is to be installed, so that the luminaires are installed inside said reflector and thus prevent the luminaires from protruding from the flat surface.
The present invention in counterpart with the patent No. 6, 752, 513 B2, does not require other means of anchoring, such as screws, nails or nuts, making it more practical and economical.
US Patent Application No. 2011/0164414 A1 describes an apparatus and method for supporting fluorescent lamps, once placed lamps can be in communication with the ballasts by means of a conductor; The apparatus may include a module that can support one or more lamps; However, the invention proposed in US Patent Application No. 2011/0164414, does not describe a support base that allows luminaires to be installed easily and simply, also, the elaboration thereof requires expensive and complex materials in counterpart with the gutter of the present invention that allows to attach luminaires easily, quickly and safely, avoiding unnecessary expenses.
None of the aforementioned documents describe a base for luminaires that has a base formed by a main body that allows to attach at least one support socket for luminaires, as well as reinforcement and elasticity elements that allow the base elements to be pressed under pressure. of luminaires without the need for external fasteners such as screws, rivets, glue, etc. There is, therefore, the need for a base for luminaires that overcomes all the inconveniences of the supports developed in the past.

Figure 1 shows a front view of the main body (1) of the luminaire base. The main body (1) of the luminaire base, is formed of a plastic material, which is formed by extrusion of polymers and is carried out by a mechanical industrial process, where a pressing and molding action is performed of the plastic through the continuous flow with pressure and thrust, which is passed through a mold in charge of giving it the desired shape. The molten polymer (or in a hollowed state) is forced to pass through a die (also called a nozzle) by means of the thrust generated by the rotating action of a spindle (Archimedes screw) that rotates concentrically in a chamber at controlled temperatures called cannon with a millimeter separation between both elements. The polymeric material is fed by means of a hopper at one end of the machine and due to the action of the thrust it is melted, flows and mixed in the barrel to be obtained on the other side with a pre-established geometric profile, which when cooled provides rigidity and flexion to the final element.
The plastic that forms the body of the connector is selected, without being limited to, the following materials: EPP, PPR or other polyolefins; (engineering plastics), or any other thermoplastic resin or thermofix.

The main body (1) of the luminaire base will be described based on Figure 1, which shows a front view of the main body (1). It can be seen that this main body (1) has a semicircle shaped main surface (4) that extends to an angle β of approximately 45 ° from whose free ends two long diagonal walls (9) are born that are embedded in a cavity that formed between both long diagonal walls (9), said cavity serves as a housing for a lamp (not shown), which are projected upwardly towards the center of the main surface (4) and projecting to the long diagonal walls (9), where they are intersected by a second short diagonal wall (5), which is born from an internal point of the main surface (4); a straight clamping surface (7) is born from each point of intersection formed by the union of the short diagonal walls (5) with the long diagonal walls (9); in turn, a coupling groove (8) is formed at each free end of the straight clamping surfaces (7) to facilitate the coupling of a standard lamp socket (not shown in Figure 1). A reinforcing wall (6) is located between two points of the short diagonal walls (5) to define a housing cavity (10) in conjunction with the straight clamping surfaces (7); said reinforcement wall (6) in addition to being used as reinforcement of the main body (1), fulfills the support function by allowing the coupling of the base of a standard socket (not shown in the figure); said socket in turn is pressurized by means of the clamping surfaces (7) that can be flexed at the time of inserting the socket and returning to its current position once the socket is completely housed inside the housing cavity (10) A "T" shaped fastener (2) is formed in the outer central part of the main surface (4) by a connecting end (3), said fastener (2) allows the main body (1) be coupled under pressure with some support means such as "gutters" without the need for elements outside the system such as screws, nuts, glue or nails. By joining the short diagonal wall (5), the long diagonal wall (9) and the main surface (4) a second cavity (12) is defined, which allows the main body structure (1) to flex easily without break, as well as, provide easy access to the cables needed for the lighting system; At least one perforation (see figure 2), can be formed on the main surface (4) to allow the introduction of the cables into the cavity (12). Finally, a third cavity (11) is formed by joining the main surface (4), the short diagonal walls (5) and the reinforcing wall (6); said cavity (11) allows the body to flex or contract main (1) without breaking and serves as a reflector of the lamp light (not shown), as well as to allow the passage of cables or any necessary adiamiento; At least one perforation (see figure 2), can be formed on the main surface (4) to allow the introduction of the cables into the cavity (11). Figure 2 shows, a perspective view of the main body (1) of the luminaire base contemplated by the present invention, in said figure 2 the main body (1) can be appreciated, coupled to a clamping channel (15) which allows the fixture base to be attached to any wall or ceiling; Likewise, in said figure 2, a perforation of cables (14) made on the main surface (4) of the base for luminaires can be seen, it is important to emphasize that the perforations pass cables (14) can be performed on any point of main surface (4) according to the needs of the installation; likewise, the perforation passes cables (14) may have a cable adapter plug to prevent the introduction of dust. A plug (16) is used to cover the ends of the main body (1) of the luminaire base in order to hide the wiring and sockets of the luminaires, it should be mentioned that the plug (16) can have any shape (or be made of any material) depending on the shape of the main body (1) of the base for luminaires, being in a preferred form substantially elliptical, but can be rectangular, square, circular etc. Figure 3 shows a bottom perspective view of the main body (1) of the luminaire base, where the lamp socket (17) and the luminaire (18) can be identified; The present invention comprises the housing of only one lamp socket (17).
Figure 4 shows, a side view of the fully assembled luminaire base where the main surface (4) can be seen with perforations passing cables (14); a clamping channel (15); plugs (16) at each end of the luminaires and at least one luminaire (18) and a socket (17). Figure 5 shows, a perspective view of the cap (16), said cap (16) has in its back a plurality of extensions (17a) that describe the same shape of the cavities (1 1 and 12) of the main body ( 1), said extensions allow the plug (16) to snap into said cavities (1 1 and 12) without the need for external fasteners such as screws, nuts, glue, nails etc. Likewise, the rear part of the cap (16) has a pair of reinforcement triangles (18) that provide elasticity and facilitate the understanding of the cap (16) at the time of being fitted in the cavities (1 1 and 12) of the main body ( 1) since they fulfill a "shock absorber" function, allowing the plug (16) to contract when it is coupled with the main body (1) and return to its original state when it is coupled in the cavities (1 1 and 12 ), also, said plug (16) when returning to its original form once attached, allows the extensions (17a) to be pressed against the walls of the cavities (11 and 12) preventing the plug (16) from detaching from the body main (1), while the socket socket (17b) remains firm. Figure 6 shows a rear view of the cap (16), where you can see the extensions (17a) that describe the same shape of the cavities (11 and 12) of the main body (1) and the reinforcement triangles (18 ) that provide rigidity and facilitate the understanding of the cap (16) at the time of being coupled in the cavities (1 1 and 12) of the main body (1). Finally, it is important to mention that all the elements that make up the base of luminaires, as well as the coupling of the same to external clamping elements such as "gutters", are carried out based on pressure, without the need of external clamping elements such as screws , rivets, glue etc.
