Abstract

The invention relates to a motor/generator unit comprising an electric motor, which has a plurality of windings, and an electronic current converter unit for supplying the individual windings with electrical energy in a controlled manner. A first cooling channel, through which a cooling fluid can flow, is provided in order to cool the current converter unit. The cooling channel has a plurality of individual channels connected in parallel, which supply components of the current converter unit or of the electric motor to be cooled with cooling fluid separately from each other and which lead into a common pressure equalization chamber on the outlet side, which pressure equalization chamber has a fluid connection to at least one second cooling channel, by means of which the electric motor or the current converter unit can be supplied with cooling fluid.
