Abstract
The invention relates to a circuit (100) for supplying power to a plurality of loads (200) for monitoring their connection state and for overcurrent protection. The circuit includes switching means (110) for preventing a current from being supplied to the loads. In an overcurrent situation, a short-circuit signal (125) is transmitted to the control means (140). Moreover, for each load, if a nominal current is drained by the load, a connection signal (135) is transmitted to the control means. On the basis of the short-circuit signal, the control means causes the switching means to prevent a current from being supplied to the loads. The control means also generates a signal (145) depending on the presence of connection and short-circuit signals.
