本实施例提供一种多媒体业务传输方法, 该方法基于终端与多媒体业务 提供方之间的网络通信的实时条件以及终端处理能力的实时状态, 进行多媒 体业务的传输,也就是,终端要告知多媒体业务提供方有关终端的实时状态, 以便协商体验最佳的多媒体业务。 此方法的实现过程如图 1所示, 包括如下 步骤:
步骤 101、 终端获取当前可用的网络传输速率, 以及获取与申请的多媒 体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率。
上述多媒体业务的业务属性包括多媒体业务内容的码率, 以及如下一种 或几种信息:
多媒体业务内容的封装格式、 编码格式、 分辨率。
而网络传输速率包括下行传输速率。
另外, 上述步骤 101中, 终端获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同 的多媒体内容的解码输出码率时, 可釆用各种方式, 而本实施例中提供如下 三种获取方式(当然本申请技术方案中的获取方式并不限于如下三种) :
1 )终端根据申请的多媒体业务的业务属性获取本地具有相同业务属性的 本地多媒体内容的多媒体解码输出码率;
2 )终端获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容片段进行 解码, 获取多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
3 )终端获取本终端播放申请的多媒体业务的多媒体内容时的解码输出码 率。
步骤 102、 终端至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中 的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方。
上述步骤 102中, 终端至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出 码率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方是指:
终端可以将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发 送给多媒体业务提供方; 或者终端也可以将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体 解码输出码率均发送给多媒体业务提供方。 需要说明的是, 如果终端将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码 率均发送给多媒体业务提供方, 则在选择发送方式时, 可以将所获取的网络 传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率同时或分别发送给多媒体业务提供方。例如, 利用同一条信息将网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率同时发送给多媒体业 务提供方。 当然也可以, 分别利用两条信息将网络传输速率和多媒体解码输 出码率发送给多媒体业务提供方。
步骤 103、 终端接收多媒体业务提供方根据终端的网路传输速率和解码 输出码率中的较小值所匹配下发的多媒体业务内容。 在上述方法的基础上, 终端获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的 多媒体内容的解码输出码率的步骤之前, 还可以包括如下操作:
终端向多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务; 以及
多媒体业务提供方将终端所申请的多媒体业务的业务属性反馈给终端。 下面结合应用场景对上述方法作详细说明。
应用场景 1
用户需要通过手机终端点播某个在线高清视频节目。 假设这个多媒体内 容的码率是 2Mbps,那么需要手机终端获取内容的网络传输速率达到 2Mbps, 同时手机终端的对该多媒体内容的解码输出能力也达到 2Mbps, 当然手机终 端还必须支持该多媒体内容的媒体编码格式、 显示的分辨率等要求。 但前两 项指标中任一项不满足的话, 用户欣赏在线高清节目将出现卡顿现象。 而网 络通信的即时传输速率、 终端的处理能力可能随时发生变化, 如果达不到多 媒体业务的理论要求指标, 需要及时协商终端的实时能力信息以便申请可适 配终端的多媒体业务(如, 申请标清的或低码率的多媒体内容) 。 如图 2所 示, 在此场景下, 多媒体业务的传输过程包括如下步骤:
步骤 201、 手机终端向多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务, 多媒体业务 提供方返回多媒体业务的业务属性。
上述多媒体业务可以是视频、 音频、 图片或者这几种的混合体。
上述多媒体业务的业务属性至少包括多媒体业务内容的码率。 可选地, 还包含多媒体业务内容的封装格式、 编码格式、 以及分辨率等参数。
步骤 202、 手机终端获取目前可用的网络传输速率。
该步骤中, 通过一些测速软件, 智能手机终端可以很方便地获取网络传 输速率。 需要说明的是, 此步骤中主要是获取下行传输速率, 用以评估多媒 体业务内容能否顺畅地下发到终端。
步骤 203、 手机终端根据多媒体业务的业务属性获取本终端的具有相同 业务属性的多媒体内容的实时解码输出码率。
终端在空闲时能够处理的多媒体内容, 在终端处理其他业务时进行并行 处理多媒体内容时, 由于处理资源匮乏可能达不到正常的多媒体解码输出码 率。 因此需要获取即时的多媒体解码输出码率, 针对具有相同业务属性的本 地多媒体内容可以进行解码获得解码输出码率。 如果本地没有相同业务属性 的多媒体内容, 终端可从其他渠道获取具有这种业务属性的多媒体内容片段 (例如, 从多媒体业务提供方直接获取试播 /试听片段)再进行解码后获得解 码输出码率。
步骤 204、 终端将传输速率和解码输出码率或者是二者的较小值发送给 多媒体业务提供方。
终端将网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率均发送给多媒体业务提供方 时, 终端是将网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率同时或分别发送给多媒体 业务提供方。 例如, 终端在向多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务时就将网络 传输速率发送给多媒体业务提供方, 当获得多媒体解码输出码率时再将解码 输出码率发送给多媒体业务提供方。
步骤 205、 终端接收多媒体业务提供方根据终端的网络传输速率和解码 输出码率的较小值匹配后下发的多媒体业务内容。
应用场景 2
用户已经通过手机终端欣赏在线高清多媒体内容, 由于网络信号的影响 或者终端又处理其他业务导致欣赏的多媒体节目出现卡顿, 此时有必要调整 节目的来源, 以给予用户更好的体验。 如图 3所示, 在此场景下, 多媒体业 务的传输过程包括如下步骤:
步骤 301、 手机播放在线高清多媒体内容时, 获取手机终端的网络传输 速率和播放在线高清视频时的解码输出码率。
手机终端可以定期或者当终端产生并发事件时获取终端的网络传输速率 和多媒体解码输出码率。 步骤 302、 终端将网络传输速率和解码输出码率或者是二者的较小值发 送给多媒体业务提供方。
终端可以定期上报网络传输速率和解码输出码率或者二者的较小值。 也 可以在终端设置监控模块, 监控网络通信发生异常时或终端产生其他并发事 件时(例如, 终端进行文件下载或终端进行某种数学运算)上报上述参数。
步骤 303、 终端接收多媒体业务提供方根据终端的网路传输速率和解码 输出码率的较小值在出现异常时匹配新的多媒体内容后下发的多媒体业务内 容。
例如, 多媒体业务提供方发现终端上报的网络传输速率和解码输出码率 的较小值出现异常时(该数值小于多媒体业务内容的码率) , 选择标清的节 目内容或其他形式的内容替代高清的节目内容下发给手机终端, 以便手机终 端能流畅地播放。
以上实施例中, 多媒体业务提供方并不是根据传统的终端能力参数 (固 定参数) 来匹配多媒体业务内容, 而是考虑了终端的网络通信条件以及终端 的实时多媒体处理能力来进行匹配多媒体业务内容。
实施例 2
如图 4所示, 是本发明实施例中的一个系统结构图, 表示终端和多媒体 业务提供方进行业务交互。 相关技术中通常是终端向多媒体业务提供方发起 业务请求, 多媒体业务提供方向终端下发多媒体内容。 在此过程中, 终端通 常通过会话描述协议 ( Session Description Protocol, SDP )文件或者是用户代 理描述( User Agent Profile, UA Profile )等方式或其他方式告知多媒体业务 提供方该终端支持的多媒体能力, 如, 多媒体格式、 多媒体分辨率、 以及码 率等要求。 但没有考虑网络通信的实时条件和终端处理能力的实时状态。 因 此, 申请人提出终端要告知多媒体业务提供方有关终端的实时状态, 以便协 商体验最佳的多媒体业务。
基于上述思想, 本实施例提供一种终端, 如图 4所示, 该终端包括如下 三个单元: 第一单元 41、 第二单元 42和第三单元 43。
第一单元 41设置成: 获取当前可用的网络传输速率, 以及获取与申请的 多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体解码输出码率。
其中, 多媒体业务的业务属性包括多媒体业务内容的码率, 以及如下一 种或几种信息:
多媒体业务内容的封装格式、 编码格式、 分辨率。 网络传输速率则包括下行传输速率。
第一单元 41 可以是设置成以如下方式获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务 属性相同的多媒体解码输出码率:
根据申请的多媒体业务的业务属性获取本地具有相同业务属性的本地多 媒体内容的多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容片段进行解码, 获取多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
获取本地播放申请的多媒体业务的多媒体内容时的解码输出码率。 第二单元 42设置成:至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码 率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方。
要说明的是,上述第二单元 42是设置成以如下方式至少将所获取的网络 传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方: 将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发送给所述 多媒体业务提供方; 或者将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率均 发送给所述多媒体业务提供方。
其中,第二单元 42是设置成以如下方式将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒 体解码输出码率均发送给多媒体业务提供方: 将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率同时或分别发送给多媒 体业务提供方。
第三单元 43设置成:接收所述多媒体业务提供方根据所述终端的网路传 输速率和解码输出码率中的较小值所匹配下发的多媒体业务内容。 还有一些方案提出,在上述架构的基础上,终端还可以包括第四单元 44 , 该第四单元 44设置成: 向多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务, 以及接收多媒 体业务提供方反馈的多媒体业务的业务属性。
从上述实施例可以看出, 本申请技术方案中, 通过用户终端将终端网络 的即时传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率, 或者两者的较小值发送给多媒体业 务提供方, 能够很好地协商终端即时支持的多媒体业务能力, 从而多媒体业 务提供方能匹配最佳的多媒体业务内容下发给终端, 提供终端的最佳用户体 验。
本领域普通技术人员可以理解上述方法中的全部或部分步骤可通过程序 来指令相关硬件完成, 所述程序可以存储于计算机可读存储介质中, 如, 只 读存储器、 磁盘或光盘等。 可选地, 上述实施例的全部或部分步骤也可以使 用一个或多个集成电路来实现。 相应地, 上述实施例中的各模块 /单元可以釆 用硬件的形式实现, 也可以釆用软件功能模块的形式实现。 本申请实施例不 限制于任何特定形式的硬件和软件的结合。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保护范 围。 凡在本发明实施例的精神和原则之内, 所做的任何修改、 等同替换、 改 进等, 均应包含在本发明所附权利要求的保护范围之内。
工业实用 4生
本发明实施例的技术方案中, 能够很好地协商终端即时支持的多媒体业 务能力, 从而多媒体业务提供方能匹配最佳的多媒体业务内容下发给终端, 提供终端的最佳用户体验。

Claims

权利要求书
1、 一种多媒体业务传输方法, 包括:
终端获取当前可用的网络传输速率, 以及获取与申请的多媒体业务的业 务属性相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率;
所述终端至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小 值发送给多媒体业务提供方; 以及
所述终端接收所述多媒体业务提供方根据所述终端的网路传输速率和解 码输出码率中的较小值所匹配下发的多媒体业务内容。
2、如权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 所述终端至少将所获取的网络传输 速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方包括:
所述终端将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发 送给所述多媒体业务提供方; 或者
所述终端将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率均发送给所述 多媒体业务提供方。
3、 如权利要求 2所述的方法, 其中,
所述终端将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率均发送给所述 多媒体业务提供方包括:

4、如权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 所述终端获取与申请的多媒体业务 的业务属性相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率包括:
所述终端根据申请的多媒体业务的业务属性获取本地具有相同业务属性 的本地多媒体内容的多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
所述终端获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容片段进 行解码, 获取多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
所述终端获取本终端播放申请的多媒体业务的多媒体内容时的解码输出 码率。
5、如权利要求 1至 4任一项所述的方法,还包括: 在所述终端获取与申 请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率之前,
所述终端向所述多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务; 以及
所述多媒体业务提供方将所述终端所申请的多媒体业务的业务属性反馈 给所述终端。
6、 如权利要求 5所述的方法, 其中,
所述多媒体业务的业务属性包括多媒体业务内容的码率, 以及如下一种 或几种信息:
多媒体业务内容的封装格式、 编码格式、 分辨率。
7、 如权利要求 5所述的方法, 其中,
所述网络传输速率包括下行传输速率。
8、 一种终端, 包括:
第一单元, 其设置成: 获取当前可用的网络传输速率, 以及获取与申请 的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率;
第二单元, 其设置成: 至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出 码率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方; 以及
第三单元, 其设置成: 接收所述多媒体业务提供方根据所述终端的网路 传输速率和解码输出码率中的较小值所匹配下发的多媒体业务内容。
9、 如权利要求 8所述的终端, 其中,
所述第二单元是设置成以如下方式至少将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒 体解码输出码率中的较小值发送给多媒体业务提供方: 将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率中的较小值发送给所述 多媒体业务提供方; 或者
将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率均发送给所述多媒体业 务提供方。
10、 如权利要求 9所述的终端, 其中,
所述第二单元是设置成以如下方式将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解 码输出码率均发送给所述多媒体业务提供方:
将所获取的网络传输速率和多媒体解码输出码率同时或分别发送给所述 多媒体业务提供方。
11、 如权利要求 8所述的终端, 其中,
所述第一单元是设置成以如下方式获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性 相同的多媒体内容的解码输出码率:
根据申请的多媒体业务的业务属性获取本地具有相同业务属性的本地多 媒体内容的多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
获取与申请的多媒体业务的业务属性相同的多媒体内容片段进行解码, 获取多媒体解码输出码率; 或者
获取本地播放申请的多媒体业务的多媒体内容时的解码输出码率。
12、 如权利要求 8至 11任一项所述的终端, 还包括:
第四单元, 其设置成: 向所述多媒体业务提供方申请多媒体业务, 以及 接收所述多媒体业务提供方反馈的所述多媒体业务的业务属性。
13、 如权利要求 12所述的终端, 其中,
所述多媒体业务的业务属性包括多媒体业务内容的码率, 以及如下一种 或几种信息:
多媒体业务内容的封装格式、 编码格式、 分辨率。
