  • ophthalmic lens a contact lens, an intraocular lens, and the like are known, and are used as a lens after eyesight correction and cataract surgery.
  • An intraocular lens as an example of an ophthalmic lens is inserted into the eye to replace the function of the lens after removing the lens that has become cloudy due to the progress of cataracts by surgery.
  • There are various functions required for an intraocular lens For example, it is possible to see an object more clearly (increase the contrast), widen a visible range (clear vision area), and the like. In response to such demands, various optical designs for the lens unit have been proposed.
  • Patent Documents 1 to 3 are known as techniques for increasing contrast. These techniques improve contrast by reducing the spherical aberration of the lens. However, if the spherical aberration is reduced, the depth of focus of the lens becomes shallow, and there is a problem that the visible range becomes narrower than that of the spherical lens.
  • Patent Document 4 describes an intraocular lens in which a near portion and a far portion are arranged according to a desired appearance. However, the amount of light entering each of the near portion and the far portion is smaller than that of a spherical lens that captures light in the entire lens, and as a result, there is a problem that the contrast is lowered.
  • Patent Document 5 describes an intraocular lens in which the visible range is wider than that of a spherical lens by increasing the depth of focus. However, the contrast of this intraocular lens is lower than that of a spherical lens, as in Patent Document 4.

Description

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000001
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000002
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000003
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000004

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000005

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000006
