Abstract

A viscous material storage and/or transportation container includes a base, a top wall and a number of side walls defining an interior volume; one or more ports for introduction of viscous material into the interior volume and extraction of viscous material from the interior volume; and one or more heater tubes arranged in the interior volume. Level sensors may be configured to sense a level of viscous material within the interior volume. An insulating lining may be used. The heater tubes may be rectangular in cross section.
