Abstract

A vehicle seat locking system for a slidable support structure for example, a vehicle seat is provided. The locking system comprises a lower rail, an upper rail, a trigger assembly, a release lever assembly, and a towel bar. The lower rail comprises multiple lower rail slots and is fixedly mounted on a base member for example, floor of vehicle. The upper rail is slidably attached to the towel bar, the upper rail is unlocked from the lower rail for enabling fore and aft movement of the vehicle seat relative to the floor of the vehicle.
