Abstract

The present invention implements a method of sending and receiving a video over a network, wherein said video is sent by a sender to a receiver over said network, wherein said video is uploaded to an intermediate server and a URL associated with said video and said video's related information are forwarded from said intermediate server to an application server. Said application server then sends said URL and said video's related information are sent from said application server to a receiver electronic device. Upon receiving said URL and said video's related information, said video is downloaded onto said receiver's device from said intermediate server using said URL.
