Abstract

Methods of use of deck wrench 116 and a deck wrench 116, the deck wrench including a first arm 202 having a first surface 204 for engaging the drilling pipe 106. The wrench 116 may include a first housing 210 with the first arm 202 slidingly disposed in the first housing 210 to move from a first to a second position. The wrench may include a first moving element 214 attached to the housing 210 and the first arm 202 to move the first arm from the first to the second position, and may include a second arm 206 having a second surface 208 for engaging the drilling pipe 106. The wrench may include a second housing 212, wherein the second arm 206 is slidingly disposed in the second housing 212 to move from a first to a second position. The wrench may include a second moving element 226 attached to the housing 212 and the second arm 206 to move the second arm from the first to the second position.
