Abstract

Method for modifying the surface of a plastic (14), wherein laser pulses are directed at the surface of the plastic (14) with a pulse duration of between 100 fs and 1 000 ps and with a pulse energy of between 1 μJ and 1 mJ, as a result of which the surface of the plastic (14) changes such that the change is permanently visible.
