Abstract
The lift system has a single lift shaft (1), in which at least two lift cars (A, B) run, which are guided one above the other. The lift cars (A, B) are each guided on separate rails (A1, A2; B1, B2), of which there are at least two. The lift shaft (1) widens at an access floor (AF), such that the lift cars (A, B) are located next to one another. The rails (A1, A2; B1, B2) of two of the lift cars (A, B) are arranged at an oblique angle or in a curved manner in this region of the lift shaft (1), such that the lift cars (A, B) can move in the upright position into one side each of the lift shaft (1). They can be positioned there at the same time, and either individual lift car (A, B) can be moved first from the access floor (AF) as required. The process logic is designed such that the control system causes the lift car that has to cover the furthest distance to depart first, which results in a large increase in conveying performance with an extremely small space requirement.
