Further, "connected" and "coupled" are not restricted to physical or mechanical connections or couplers.
In addition, terms such as "first" and "second" are used herein for purposes of description and are not intended to indicate or imply relative importance or significance.
As shown in Figs. 1 to 5, the LED street lamp according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below. The LED street lamp 100 is adapted to be disposed on a support member 200 of supporter. The supporter may be a wall, a street lamp pole, etc.
The LED street lamp may include a bracket 1, a light-emitting assembly 2, an upper case 3, a lower case 4 and a power drive assembly 5.
As shown in Fig. 1, the light-emitting assembly 2 is disposed on the bracket 1. The upper case 3 is disposed at rear of the bracket 1 and defines a receiving cavity 30 having an open bottom (i.e. the bottom of the receiving cavity 30 is open). The upper case 3 has a first connecting part 31 and a connecting portion 320, the connecting portion 320 is adapted to connect with the support member 200. The lower case 4 has a second connecting part 40 which is fitted with the first connecting part 31 to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3, such that the lower case 4 can open or close the open bottom of the receiving cavity 30. The power drive assembly 5 is disposed on the lower case 4 and received in the receiving cavity 30. The light-emitting assembly 2 is detachably connected with the power drive assembly 5.
In some embodiments, the light-emitting assembly 2 has an input interface 21, and the power drive assembly 5 has an output interface 51 detachably connected with the input interface 21. The input interface 21 is disposed on the upper case 3.
In some embodiments, the connecting portion 320 is a rear wall of the upper case 3, and the connecting portion 320 has a connecting hole 32 formed in the connecting portion 320 and
adapted to fit with the support member 200. In other words, the support member 200 such as a supporting arm extended from the street lamp pole passes through and is fitted within the connecting hole 32.
It would be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the structure of the light-emitting assembly 2 and the power drive assembly 5 are commonly known in the art, so that the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted here.
During assembling the LED street lamp, the power drive assembly 5 is mounted onto the lower case 4 at first, and then the second connecting part 40 with the first connecting part 31 are connected with each other to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3.
When the receiving cavity 30 is closed by the lower case 4, the output interface 51 of the power drive assembly 5 is connected with the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2, such that the light-emitting assembly 2 is energized to illuminate.
When the LED street lamp needs to be repaired, the lower case 4 is detached from the upper case 3 to disconnect the output interface 51 of the power drive assembly 5 from the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2, thus, the power drive assembly 5 is deenergized and can be repaired or renewed.
With the LED street lamp according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the upper case 3 has a first connecting part 31 and the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2 is disposed on the upper case 3. The lower case 4 has a second connecting part 40 fitted with the first connecting part 31 to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3. Thus, when the LED street lamp needs to be repaired, the upper case 3 and the lower case 4 can be separated from each other without tools, and the power drive assembly 5 can be renewed or repaired merely by detaching the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, which may allow a single person easily operating, thereby saving maintenance time and labor costs.
In some embodiments, as shown in Fig.4 and Fig.5, the first connecting part 31 is configured as a hinge base having a pivot hole 310 and the second connecting part 40 is configured as a hinge head having a pivot shaft 401 fitted within the pivot hole 310, such that the lower case 4 may pivot relative to the upper case 3.
The first connecting part 31 is disposed at a rear wall of the upper case 3, and the second connecting part 40 is disposed at a rear wall of the lower case accordingly. With the pivot shaft 401 fitted within the pivot hole 310, the lower case 4 may rotate in an top-bottom direction
relative to the upper case 3, that is, the upper case 3 and the lower case 3 are fitted together to configure as a hinge structure.
Furthermore, as shown in Fig.5, a groove 311 is formed in an inner wall of the pivot hole 310, and a boss 402 is formed on a peripheral surface of the pivot shaft 401. A first distance si from a center of the pivot shaft 401 to a free end of the boss 402 is smaller than a second distance s2 from a center of the pivot hole 310 to a top wall of the groove 311 and larger than a radius rl of the pivot hole 310.
When mounting the lower case 4 to the upper case 3, the pivot shaft 401 is inserted into the pivot hole 310 and the lower case 4 is rotated until the receiving cavity 30 is fully closed, because that the boss 402 is engaged with the wall of the pivot hole 310, so that the lower case 4 is pivotally connected with the upper case 3 and cannot separate with the upper case 3. When disassembling the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, firstly, the lower case 4 is rotated in the direction B2 as indicated in Fig.4 until the boss 402 is aligned to the groove 311, i.e. the receiving cavity 30 is fully opened, then the pivot shaft 401 is pulled out of the pivot hole 310 in the direction Bl as indicated in Fig.4. Thus, the lower case 4 and upper case 3 are easily detached and assembled without tools, and the lower case 4 and the upper case 3 can be locked as the open bottom is fully closed.
