Description

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN AMOUNT OF MONEY CORRESPONDING TO A BANK ACCOUNT
A first aspect of the invention relates to a system for controlling a an amount of money corresponding to an account, comprising:
- an input unit which is adapted for receiving a user request for the control of an amount of money by the system, wherein the user request can be generated from a money transaction station out of a group of money transaction stations, wherein each money transaction station is adapted to generate the user's request at the request of a user of the account,
- a storage unit comprising transaction data to be used for the control of an amount of money by the system,
- a processing unit for analyzing the user's request and determining a
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system based on the transaction data.
A second aspect of the invention relates to a method for processing a money transaction for an amount of money corresponding to an account, comprising steps for:
- receiving a user's request for the control of an amount of money by the system, wherein the user request can be generated from a money transaction station out of a group of money transaction stations, wherein each money transaction station is adapted to generate the user's request at the request of a user of the account,
- analysing the transaction data required for the operation of an amount of money by the system,
- analysing the user's request and determining a (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system on the basis of the transaction data.
The system in practice is generally known, by which a user of a money transaction station, such as an ATM or Pin pad, withdraws money, for example by means of a ATM or Pin pad cooperating information carrier such as a credit card and/or debit card, from his bank account by operating the ATM respectively Pin pad, which communicates with the system according to the introductory paragraph. The information carrier of the user is provided with a part in which the with the data carrier associated code information is stored, which information is unique for each information carrier. The code information includes data that corresponds, for example, with data corresponding to a bank account of an owner and/or user corresponding with the bank account, wherein the control of an amount of money by means of the information carrier is made possible by application of a user code corresponding to the information carrier, such as a PIN. Using this system and/or application of this method, worldwide millions of transactions are daily carried out, whereby a user withdraws money or transfers money as in a shop, or where the user receives money as at the receipt of a payment such as a recovery from a store.
However, the system is vulnerable for many years already to unauthorized third parties, for example in the possession of both the data carrier, the data carrier associated code information, as of the data carrier associated user code, such as the PIN, and/or a bank account number belonging to the account and a debit card number belonging to the information carrier . Thus, the practice proved that unauthorized third parties copied these data by skimming, including copying code information stored on the information carrier and came in possession of code information corresponding with a single account and the user code, and/or bank account number and bank card number. Unauthorized third parties are then able to control an amount of money from the owner of the account, at least in part, wherein the unauthorized third party can withdraw or transfer an amount of money.
It is a disadvantage of the known system that the processing unit of the system allows a money transaction in which an amount of money is controllable at a money transaction station at the request of a user who is unauthorized to use the account.
It is an object of the invention to provide a system which makes it for a user being unauthorized to use the account, impossible or at least more difficult to operate an amount of money corresponding to the account.
The system according to the invention provides for this purpose a system for controlling an amount of money corresponding to an account, comprising:
- an input unit which is adapted to receive a first user request, for controlling an amount of money by the system, wherein the first user request can be generated from a money transaction station out of a group of money transaction stations, wherein each money transaction station is adapted to generate the first users request on request on a request by a user of the account,
- a storage unit comprising transaction data to be used for the controlling an amount of money by the system,
- a processing unit for analyzing the first user request and determining the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system based on the transaction data, wherein the storage unit includes further transaction data having for each account for each money transaction station a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station, and wherein the processing unit is further adapted for the analysis of the first user request comprising identifying the money transaction station and the co-determining the (in)admissibility on the basis of a comparison of the identified money transaction station with the further transaction data. By this system the control of an amount of money from an account is only possible from a money transaction station, in which an account associated user request for the control of an amount of money by the system is made when, or if, and only then, if the system, or the storage unit of the system, is having, for the money transaction station, a state indication for allowing the control of an amount of money by the system. For determining the (in)admissibility, the processing unit provides an identification of the money transaction station, in which the account associated user request is done for the control of an amount of money by the system , and the processing unit consults the further transaction data whether it is allowed for the identified money transaction station to control an amount of money by the control system, or that the identified money transaction station is blocked for the control of an amount of money by the system, whereby the control of an amount of money by the system is denied.
A system for controlling an amount of money associated with an account through use of a credit card, in which a check is carried out whether a money transaction can take place via a money transaction station, is in itself known. This known system is arranged to analyse the user's request, including the identification of the money transaction station and the co-determining the (in)admissibility on the basis of a calculation, whereby only at the time of the user's request, it is calculated and/or determined whether an identified location of the money transaction station is located at a distance which is reachable or to be travelled, starting from an earlier time when the credit card was last being used in a previously used money transaction station. This known system prevents controlling of an amount of money from a money transaction station locating at a distance which is relating to the previously used money transaction station too far to be travelled in a period being lapsed between the sequential use . The system is, in other words, adapted to calculate, for an account associated with the credit card, an accessibility or travellability of the distance to be bridged, at each user request. This known system has the disadvantage that subsequent use of the credit card associated with the account is also impossible for the lawful user of the credit card, for example from a purchase from a place online via the Internet is done based on an input of to the credit card associated account information, such as a number of the credit card and the credit card only belonging further code, while such a minute later a further lawful user of the credit card a cash transaction wishes to carry out in a country that at least few hours of the site preparation feasible. The known system has as a further disadvantage that unauthorized use of the credit card it is possible, however, after the expiry of the time which is necessary for the bridging of a distance and/or fastest route which extends between successive money transaction stations. The system according to the invention does not have these disadvantages, and has for each money transaction station or group of money transaction stations at any given time a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system. In one embodiment, the input unit is further adapted for receiving a second user request from the user of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data comprising adjusting the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station from the group of transaction stations, and the processing unit is further adapted for the analysis of the second user request, and adjusting the further transaction data on the basis of the second user request. This makes it possible for the user to adapt, from a money transaction station being recognized by the system as a money transaction station from which controlling an amount of money is allowed, the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station from the group of money transaction stations . Thus money transaction stations for which the pre-set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility that allows controlling an amount of money through the system from the money transaction station may be adjusted to a pre-set state indication that is set on an (in)admissibility that does not allow controlling an amount of money by system from the money transaction station.
In one embodiment, the input unit is further adapted for receiving a third user request from the user of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data comprising adjustment for at least one period of the pre-set state indication for at least one money transaction station out of the group of transaction stations, and the processing unit is further adapted for the analysis of the third user request and the adjustment of the further transaction data on the basis of the third user request. This makes it possible for the user to adjust the pre-set state indication for at least one money transaction station out of the group of money transaction stations. Thus money transaction stations for which the pre-set state indication is set on (in)admissibility that does not allow controlling an amount of money through the system from the money transaction station , may be adjusted before or during the period to a pre-set state indication that is set on an (in)admissibility that allows controlling an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station , which is useful for example prior to a planned journey to an area, such as a different country. In other words it is possible for the user himself to select the period wherein the user is enabled to determine the (in)admissibility for each money transaction station for at least a user-defined period, wherein the at least one period can be determined by determining the first point in time that corresponds to the beginning of the period, and the determination of the second point in time which corresponds to the end of the period.
In one embodiment, the input unit is further adapted for receiving a fourth user request from the user of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data comprising adjusting the pre-set state indication of at least one, money transaction station locating in a geographically defined area, out of the group of transaction stations, and the processing unit is further adapted to analyse the fourth user request and the adjustment of the further transaction data on the basis of the fourth user request. This makes it possible for the user to adapt pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station out of the group of money transaction stations to the geographically defined area. Thus money transaction stations for which the pre-set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility that does not allow controlling an amount of money through the system from the money transaction station, may be adapted for the geographically defined area to a pre-set state indication that is set on an (in)admissibility that allows controlling an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station , which is useful, for example prior to a visit to an area, such as a different country.
In one embodiment, the further transaction data per account for each money transaction station comprise a variable for the pre-set state indication, wherein the variable has a first value if the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station is set to "permitted" , and/or wherein the variable has a second value if the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station is set to "blocked". This makes it possible to determine the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system of the user request from the identified money transaction station, in which the account associated user request for the control of an amount of money by the system is done, by testing the variable comprised in the further transaction data for the money transaction station , wherein the test comprises comparing whether the variable is equal to the first value, or whether the variable is equal to the second value. If it is a result of the test, that the variable comprised in the further transaction data for the money transfer transaction is equal to the first value, the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system is set to "permitted".
In one embodiment, the further transaction data comprise a first group of money transaction stations wherein the variable is equal to the first value, and/or wherein the further transaction data comprise a second group of money transaction stations wherein the variable is equal to the second value, and/or wherein the first group of money transaction stations is located within the determined geographical area , and/or wherein the second group of money transaction stations is located outside the determined geographical area . This makes it possible to determine a first group of money transaction stations for which the (in)admissibility for the operation of an amount of money by the system is set to "permitted" , and/or to determine a second group of money transaction stations for which the (in)admissibility for the operation of an amount of money by the system is set to "blocked" . Furthermore, it becomes possible to set the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system of a first group of money transaction stations on "permitted", for example, in an area in which the holder of the account resides or is usually located. Furthermore, it becomes possible, for example, to block all money transaction stations abroad , so that it is for an unauthorized third impossible or at least more difficult to go beyond the borders of the user of the account to control an amount of money over the system.
In one embodiment, the geographical area comprises a geographically defined portion, such as at least one street, one block, at least a zip code area, at least one quarter, at least a village, at least one city, at least one state, at least one part of the country, at least one land, at least a continent, or at least a continent where the money transaction stations have a pre-set state indication wherein controlling an amount of money is allowed by the system. This makes it possible to set, per geographical defined portion, the specific geographical area, in which the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money determined by the system is set to "permitted", , wherein a holder of the account is enabled to operate an amount of money by the system in for example a street, postcode area, or district, or village, or town, or a part of the country, or a country or a continent, or a continent.
In one embodiment, the geographically defined area comprises a group of geographically defined parts, such as several streets, several municipalities, several districts, several villages, multiple cities, multiple counties, several parts of the country, several countries, several continents, or several continents, where money transaction stations have a pre-set state indication allowing the control of an amount of money by the system. This makes it possible to compose the specific geographical area, in which the (in)admissibility of controlling an amount of money by the system is set to
"permitted", of multiple geographically defined portions, wherein a user of the account is enabled to operate an amount of money by the system within, for example several streets, postcode areas, districts, or villages, or cities, or counties, or parts of the country, or countries, or continents, or continents, or combinations of streets, postcode areas, districts, or villages, or cities or counties, or parts of the country, or countries, or continents, or continents.
In one embodiment, the geographically defined area comprises a group of interconnected geographical defined portions, wherein the money transaction stations have a pre-set state indication wherein controlling an amount of money is allowed by the system. This makes it possible to compose the geographically defined area, in which the (in)admissibility for controlling an amount of money by the system is set to "permitted", from interconnected geographical defined portions, wherein a holder of the account is enabled to operate an amount of money by the system within for example
interconnected streets, or municipalities, or districts, or villages, or cities, or counties, or parts of the country, or countries, or continents, or continents, or combinations of streets, postcode areas, districts or villages, or cities, or counties, or parts of the country, or countries, or continents. This measure has the advantageous effect to adapt the geographically defined area in which the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system is set to "permitted", for example on a trip by car through multiple interconnected countries.
In one embodiment, the user's request, can be generated from a money transaction station by means of a code required by the system for controlling an amount of money. In one embodiment, the money transaction station is provided with an input device for the application of an account associated information carrier, which is employed by means of application of a code required by the system for the control of an amount of money. This makes it possible to limit to operate an amount of money by the system to a small circle comprising the user of the account, or to a legitimate holder of the information carrier, and/or to an authorized representative for use of the account. The small circle is enabled by the system to gain access to the control of an amount of money, as well as the adjustment of the further transaction data, such as adjustment for at least one money transaction station of a pre-set state indication for the
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system.
In one embodiment, the money transaction station is an ATM, or is the money transaction station a Pin pad, or is the money transaction station a computer, preferably a mobile computer such as a laptop, tablet, or a smartphone, which computer is over the Internet connectable to a further application running on a computer for the control of an amount of money by the system, wherein a location of the computer can be determined. This will allow the user of the account and/or an authorized representative of the account to operate an amount of money over the system from any money transaction station which is adapted to cooperate with the system, wherein for instance a pre-set state indication of a money transaction station may be adapted. The money transaction station is preferably an Internet-connectable computer on which computer an application running on a computer is operable for the account user control of an amount of money by the system, which is generally known as Internet banking, wherein the location of the computer connectable to the Internet is, during use, known from the via the Internet traceable information.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, a method is provided for processing a money transaction for an amount of money corresponding to an account, comprising the steps of:
- receiving a first user request, for controlling an amount of money by the system, wherein the first user's request can be generated from a money transaction station out of a group of money transaction stations, wherein each money transaction station is being adapted to process the first user request at the request of a user of the account,
- analyzing of transaction data required for the operation of an amount of money by the system, - analyzing of the first user's request based on the transaction data determining a (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system, further comprising the steps of,
- analyzing further transaction data which have per account for each money transaction station a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station, and
- processing of the first user's request comprising the identification of the money transaction station and the co-determining of the (in)admissibility on the basis of a comparison of the identified money transaction station with the further transaction data. In this way, controlling of an amount of money of an account from a money transaction station is then dependable on the further transaction data corresponding to the account, which further transaction data comprise for each money transaction station a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station. With this measure, it is thus possible to permit controlling an amount of money from one account from a money transaction station, from which a first user request for controlling an amount of money by the system, is done, if, or if and only if for the money transaction station a state indication is incorporated, such as in the further transaction data, for allowing the control of an amount of money by the system.
In one embodiment, the method further comprises:
- receiving, from the user of the account, a second user request for adjusting the further transaction data comprising adjusting the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station from the group of money transaction stations, wherein the second user request can be generated from the identified money transaction station that is having a pre-set state indication in which the controlling of an amount of money is permitted by the system.
- analyzing the second user request, and
- adapting the further transaction data comprising adjusting comprising the preset state indications of at least one money transaction station out of the group of money transaction stations on the basis of the second user request. This gives the user of the account a possibility to provide the second user request for at least one money transaction station to adapt and/or adjust the further transaction data, comprising adapting and/or adjusting the pre-set state indication for changing the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system from the at least one money transaction station. That is to say that it is thus possible to adapt the further transaction data, for the at least one money transaction station, for which the (in)admissibility for the operation of an amount of money from an account in the further transaction data is set or determined on "permitted", in such a way, that the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money from an account in the further transaction data is set or determined on "blocked", or vice versa.
In one embodiment, receiving the second user request for adapting the further transaction data, comprises receiving a third user request for adapting the further transaction data comprising, for at least one money transaction station, setting a period in which the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money has been adapted by the system. As a result, the user is provided an opportunity to adapt, by means of the third user request, the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station from the group of money transaction stations for or over at least a desired period of time. Thus money transaction stations for which the pre-set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money over the system from the money transaction station which is not permitted, can be adapted before or during the period into a pre-set state indication that is set on (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station is permitted, which is useful, for example prior to a planned journey to an area, such as a different country. In other words, the user is provided an opportunity to, by himself, adapt the time period, so that the user is able to determine, for each transaction station, the (in)admissibility for at least one period determined by the user.
In one embodiment, receiving the second user request for adapting the further transaction data, comprises receiving a fourth user request for adapting the further transaction data comprising the adjustment of a geographically defined area in which for the money transaction stations the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money has been adapted by the system. This gives the user an opportunity to adapt, via the fourth user request, the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station from the group of money transaction stations for the geographically defined area. Thus money transaction stations for which the pre-set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station which is not permitted, may be adapted for the geographically defined area, into a pre-set state indication that is set on an
(in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system from the money transaction station which is permitted, which is useful, for example prior to a visit to an area, such as a different country.
According to a third aspect of the present invention a money transaction station is provided for use in the system according to the first aspect of the present invention, and/or for use in the method according to the second aspect of the present invention. As a result, the operation of the money transaction station, in which an amount of money from an account is operable via the money transaction station, becomes dependent on the account associated further transaction data having a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money from an account from the money transaction station. The operation of the money transaction station is, in one
embodiment, permitted if regarding the money transaction station, a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility of further transaction data is determined on
"permitted"; and blocked if regarding money transaction station, a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility of further transaction data is determined on "blocked". The operation of the money transaction station is, in one embodiment, adjustable by adjustment of a pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money of an account from the money transaction station.
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to a few embodiments with reference to the figures. It is shown in:

The system 1 is designed and intended for use in a sector such as banking, and provides for example a bank to a beneficiary of the account, such as a holder and/or, as in this text is used, a user 40 and/or an authorized person for the account, a means for controlling an amount of money corresponding with the account. In this text it is assumed that a bank may be owner or operator of the system 1 , where the bank offers the user 40 system 1 for operating a corresponding amount of money corresponding with an account.
The term account is used in this document for an entity known at a bank and/or the system 1 , such as a bank account of a beneficiary of an amount of money, wherein in this text an amount of money is a variable quantity with a negative or a positive value.
In this text, controlling an amount of money is meant to include a variety of actions. An amount of money controlled by the system can be reduced by the owner of the account by retrieving of a quantity, such as from an ATM, or by paying a quantity, such as with a Pin pad in a shop. An amount of money may be increased by the holder of the account by receiving a quantity, such as at a Pin pad in a store that transfers an amount to the account of the beneficiary. The holder of the account may further decrease or increase an amount of money via system 1 , by means of an order which transfers an amount of money to a further account or from a further account.
Figures 1 and 2 both show the system 1 comprising an input unit 11 arranged to receive a first user request 21 for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 , wherein the first user application 21 can be generated from a money transaction station 3, 4, 5 out of a group of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5, wherein each money transaction station 3, 4, 5 is arranged to generate the first user request 21 at the request of a user 40 of the account.
In this text a money transaction station 3, 4, 5, is meant to include a station 3, 4, 5 at which a transaction is feasible, and, as in the banking systems common, at which a financial transaction is feasible like a command for controlling a quantity of money by the system 1 , wherein the command is for instance a payment instruction or a command for retrieving an amount of money. From the money transaction stations 3 shown in figure 1 millions of them are worldwide available and are usually locating at a fixed, public accessible location.
Figure 1 shows a money transaction station 3 which in this text is meant to include an ATM or pin pad. Figure 2 shows a money transaction station 4, which in this text is meant to include a computer connectable via a (telephone) line or the internet 7, which computer is connectable with a further application running on a computer for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 , in which the computer such as a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone, usually privately owned and suitable for internet banking. Both concepts or type of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 are in this text interchangeably. It is clear that for each money transaction station 3 as shown in Figure 1 within the system 1 a unique number and the location of the money transaction station 3 is determined, which, for example makes known in which street of an urban district or in which street of a place in a country the money transaction station 3 is located, or whereas the coordinates are known, such as GPS coordinates using the global positioning system (GPS). It is also clear that of each money transaction station 4, 5 as shown in Figure 2, the location of the money transaction station 4, 5 is
determinable in system 1 based on web data such as a web address, such as with the money transaction station 4 , 5 belonging IMEI or MAC code is determinable in what street of a city district or in any street of a place in a country the money transaction station 4, 5 are located from where the first user request 21 originates, or what coordinates are of the money transaction station 4, 5 at the moment of the first user's request 21 , such as GPS coordinates using the global positioning system (GPS).
The system 1 includes a storage unit 12 in which transaction data 6 are stored necessary for the control of an amount of money by the system 1. In general transaction data 6 comprise data such as a pre-set balance limit and a balance at the time of the first user request 21 is available for the control of an amount of money by the system 1. The system 1 comprises a processing unit 13 for the analysis of the first user's request 21 and to determine on the base of the transaction data the (in)admissibility 6 in order to control an amount of money by the system 1. It is well known that system 1 is suitable for a control of an amount of money by the system 1 , such as the processing of a payment from the account of the lawful recipient 40, wherein the processing unit 13 is adapted to, prior to the execution of the payment check, whether the balance is sufficient for the execution of the payment.
The storage unit 12 in this example comprises further transaction data 60 which are, per account for any money transaction station 3, 4, 5, indicative for the
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5. The indication for the (in)admissibility of the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 is in the system 1 , in this text, pre-determined by means of a Boolean character, such as a value which can be equal to zero or one, or which can be a value equal to " true "or" false ", or, as in this text is often used, which can be a value equal to "permitted " or "blocked" , which value is stored for each money transaction station 3, 4, 5, and/or corresponding to each money transaction station 3, 4, 5, in the storage unit 12.
In this example, for each account for each money transaction station 3, 4, 5, the (in)admissibility is pre-determined by a variable, which is either equal to a first value if the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 is set to "permitted", or equal to a second value if the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 is set to "blocked" .
In the storage unit 12 in which the further transaction data 60 are stored, per account for each money transaction station 3, 4, 5, a pre-set state indication is continuously present, set or known for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5. In this example, the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 of the money transaction station 3, 4, 5, is set in the further transaction data 60 so that a first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 shown in Figure 3 is formed wherein the variable is equal to the first value, and that a, shown in Figure 3, second group 32 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 is formed in which the variable is equal to the second value. In one embodiment, the further transaction data 60 are arranged per account, and the further transaction data 60 include per account a listing in which per money transaction station 3, 4, 5, the pre-set state indication is set for the
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1.
The processing unit 13 is furthermore adapted for the analysis of the first user's request 21 comprising the identification of the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 and the co-determining the (in)admissibility based at a comparison of the identified money transaction station 3, 4, 5 with the further transaction data 60. This makes the system 1 suitable for a control of an amount of money by the system 1 , such as the withdrawal of an amount of money from the money transaction station 3, while the processing unit 13, prior to checking whether the balance is sufficient, and/or, prior to performing the withdrawal, checks whether the money transaction station 3 has the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 is set to "permitted". If the money transaction station 3 pre-set state indication for the
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 is set to "blocked", the system 1 refuses a user's request 21 to carry out, so that control of an amount of money by the system 1 is not possible from that money transaction station 3.
The further transaction data 60 can be set by a user 40 of the account from the identified money transaction station 3, 4, 5, if the identified money transaction station 3, 4, 5, has a pre-set state indication whereby the control of an amount of money by the system 1 is permitted .The further transaction data 60 are then adjustable by the user of account 40 for adjusting the pre-set state indications of at least one money transaction of station 3, 4, 5 out of the group consisting of money transaction stations. In this example, the input unit 11 is further arranged for receiving a second user request 22 of the user 40 of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data 60 comprising adjusting the pre-set state indications of at least one money transaction station 3, 4, 5 transaction from the group of stations, where the processing unit 13 is further adapted for the analysis of the second user request 22, and the adjusting of the further transaction data 60 on the basis of the second user request 22. The user 40 may thus adjust from a money transaction station 3, 4, 5, recognizable by system 1 as a money transaction station 3, 4, 5 from where control of an amount of money is permitted, the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station 3 , 4, 5 from the group of money transaction stations. Thus, for the money transaction station 3, 4, 5, the pre-set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 is permitted, and adjusted to a newly established setting that is set on an (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 which is not permitted.
The further transaction data 60 are also adjustable in such a way that for at least one money transaction station 3, 4, 5 a time period is adjustable as pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibili'ty to control an amount of money by the system 1. The time period in this example is adjustable by means of determining a first point in time that corresponds to a beginning of the period, and determining a second point in time which corresponds to One end of the period. In this example, the input unit 11 is further adapted to receive a third user request 23 of the user of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data 60 comprising for a period of adaptation of the pre- set state indications of at least one money transaction station 3, 4, 5 from the group of transaction stations. The processing unit 13 is further adapted for the analysis of the third user request 23 and the adjusting of the further transaction data 60 on the basis of the third user request 23. This allows the user 40 to adjust the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station 3, 4, 5 from the group of money transaction stations for a desired period of time, such as a planned trip to an area, such as a different country. The user 40 may set the period itself, so the user 40 is enabled for each transaction station 3, 4, 5 to determine the (in)admissibility for at least one user- defined period.
Figure 3 shows a geographical configuration of countries, in which, in this example a first country 91 , a second country 92, a country 93, a fourth country 94, and a fifth country 95 take part. The further transaction data 60 are also adjustable in such a way that a geographically defined area is selectable wherein the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 having pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 has been adapted. In this example, the input unit 11 is further adapted for receiving a fourth user's request 24 of the user 40 of the account, for the purpose of adjusting the further transaction data 60 comprising adjusting the preset state indication of at least one, in a geographically defined area standing money transaction station 3, 4, 5 from the group of money transaction stations. The processing unit 13 is furthermore adapted for the analysis of the fourth user request and the adjustment of the further transaction data 60 on the basis of the fourth user request 24. This allows the user 40 to adjust the pre-set state indication of at least one money transaction station 3, 4, 5 from the group of money transaction stations for a geographically defined area. Thus money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 of which the pre- set state indication is set on an (in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 which is not permitted, may, for the geographically defined area, be adapted to a new set setting that is set on an
(in)admissibility to operate an amount of money by the system 1 from the money transaction station 3, 4, 5 which is permitted. This is useful prior to a visit to another country, for example, from the first country 91 per plane to the fifth country crossed 95.
In the example shown in Figure 3 form the first country 91 , the second country
92, the third country 93, the fourth country 94, and the fifth country 95 an area of interconnected countries 91 , 92, 93, 94, 95. In this example the first 91 , the second 92, the third country 93 form a geographically defined area wherein the first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 are situated in such a manner that the fourth 94 and the fifth country 95 fall apart from the geographic area in which the second group 32 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 are located. In the geographical area in which the first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 are located, in this case in the first country 91 , the second country 92 and the third country 93, the (in)admissibility, or the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility, to control an amount of money by the system 1 is set to "permitted". Beyond the geographical area in which the second group 32 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 are located, in this case in the fourth country 94 and the fifth country 95, the (in)admissibility, or the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 , is set to "blocked".
The geographically defined area includes, in this text, a geographically defined part, like at least a street, at least a zip code area, at least a district, at least a village, at least a city, at least a province, at least a part of the country, at least a country, or at least a continent wherein the first user's request 21 is admissible. Alternatively the geographically defined area comprises a group of geographically defined parts, as several streets, several municipalities, several districts, several villages, multiple cities, multiple counties, several parts of the country, several countries or several continents, wherein the first user's request 21 is admissible.
If a user 40 of the account is located substantially in the first country 91 , the system 1 provides, according to the invention, a possibility for the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 in the first land 91 , to have the pre-set state indication for the
(in)admissibility of controlling an amount of money over the system as "permitted", and for the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 out of the first land 91 to have the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for controlling a quantity of money by the system 1 to be "blocked". In this case, then only the first land 91 is part of the first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5, and make the other countries, 92, 93, 94, 95 form part of the second group 32 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5. In this case, the preset state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 in a country other than the first country 91 is set to be "blocked", making it an unauthorized third party impossible from the other country to control an amount of money as withdrawing cash from an ATM, or perform a debit card through a pin pad.
If a user 40 of the account intends to travel as shown in Figure 4 as tour 9 from the first country 91 to the second country 92, 92 from the second country to the third country 93, and from the third country 93 back to the first country 91 , the system 1 provides according the invention provides a possibility to, prior to the round trip 9, the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 adjust the pre-set state indication for the
(in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 also in the second and the third country 92, 93 set to "permitted", wherein the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 in the other countries 94, 95 remains set to "blocked". In this example, the first, the second and the third land 91 , 92, 93 form a part of the first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5, and make the other countries 94, 95 form part of the second group 32 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5. By this the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 in the second and the third country 92, 93 is set to "permitted", allowing the user 40 to be enabled to control an amount of money from the second and third country 92, 93, such as withdrawing cash from an ATM, or perform a debit card through an pin pad. After the round tour 9, the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 in the second and the third country 92, 93 can be adjusted to their pre-set state indication prior to the round tour 9 again.
In one embodiment, the further transaction data 60 are arranged per account and the further transaction data 60 include per account a list wherein each money transaction station 3, 4, 5 has set a time period for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1.
The route 9 shown in Figure 4, as the round tour 9, has a starting point 90 and an end point 90, in which the user 40 arrives at a first time point in the second country 92, arrives at a second time point in the third country 93 and returns in a third time point in the first country 91 again. The system 1 provides, according to the invention, a possibility to set the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 to be set in the second country 92 as "permitted" for a first period between the first and the second point in time, and in the third country 93 be set to "permitted" for a second period between the second and the third time. In a further example, the system 1 , according to the invention, offers the possibility to set the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility for the control of an amount of money by the system 1 in the first country 91 to determine "blocked" for the first and the second time period, to determine in the second country 92 to be "blocked" for a time period following the first period, and in the third country 93 to determine "blocked" for a the second period following period. By this the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 in the second and the third country 92, 93 is only set on 'permitted' during a scheduled presence of the holder, while in the planned absence of the user 40 in the first, the second, and the third country 91 , 92, 93, the pre- set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 in these countries is set to "blocked".
Sequentially adjusting the pre-set state indications for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 allows, for the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5, a follow-me system, or a follow-me system wherein only those money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 can be used for, for example, the withdrawal of an amount of money, which are located in that particular geographical area in which the user 40 is located, or in which it is scheduled that the user 40 will be there. This will prevent an unauthorized third person during the scheduled absence in these countries, to control or operate an amount of money, such as withdrawing cash from an ATM, or perform a debit card through a pin pad.
Use of the system 1 implies that the pre-set state indication indicating the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 per money transaction station 3, 4, 5 can only be adjusted if the first user's request 21 comes from the geographically defined region, wherein the money transaction station 3, 4, 5, from which the first user request 21 is derived, is part of the first group 31 of money transaction stations 3, 4, 5. It may thus happen that the user 40 is travelled to the fourth country 94 without having set, for the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 locating in the fourth country 94, the pre-set state indication for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 on "permitted", in which case the money transaction stations 3, 4, 5 in the fourth country 94 are blocked for the user. In such a situation a detour is available via the system holder, for example by a method in which the user 40 is able to contact, from the fourth country 94, the system holder, for example by telephone, whereby the system holder may ask for additional information that identifies the user 40 is legal. In this case, for the in the fourth country 94 located money transaction stations 3, 4, 5, the pre-set state indication may be adjusted for the (in)admissibility to control an amount of money by the system 1 into "permitted", for example, by contacting the holder of the system 1 , who is presented for example an image and sound of the user 40. In the event that an unauthorized third party presents himself as being the owner of the account, at least clear facts and descriptions of this third person are collected.
In other words, the system holder, like a bank, provides, within a web account of an account holder, a possibility to selectively release ATMs, pin pads and internet banking in continents, countries, provinces, wherein as an example, abroad all ATMs are "off', and in the home country all ATMs are in "on" position, and wherein by means of time windows and date windows, ATMs and pin pads etc. can be put "on" and "off, per area, which time windows and date windows can be adjusted per area using a laptop or smartphone, or tablet. System holders have searched since the introduction of the ATM's and pin pads salvation in vain on the part of the ATM.
The ultimate solution, with an ultimate system, lies however at the back-side, the back- office at the user side.
The invention of course is not limited to the described and shown preferred embodiment, but extends to any embodiment which falls within the scope of the protection as defined in the claims and in the light of the foregoing description and accompanying drawings.
