Más en particular, el objeto de la invención se centra en un elemento, que tanto puede ser de recubrimiento de una superficie existente como decorativo, el cual presenta la innovadora particularidad de que cuenta con una superficie vista en la que incorpora, una, dos o más capas de una película termocrómica, es decir, hecha de pintura o tinta termocrómica del tipo que reacciona a una determinada temperatura, y, además, también cuenta con un componente calefactor incorporado al propio elemento que se conecta a un sistema de control para poder controlar su temperatura, permitiendo escoger la que corresponda para hacer visible o no cada una de dichas capas de película termocrómica y, con ello, variar a voluntad el diseño de la superficie vista del elemento.
