Abstract
L'invention concerne un terminal émetteur qui comprend : une entrée pour recevoir un signal vidéo comprenant une pluralité de trames représentant une image vidéo à différents instants respectifs, chaque trame comprenant une pluralité d'échantillons de résolution supérieure ; un générateur de projection configuré pour générer de multiples projections différentes de l'image vidéo, chaque projection comprenant une pluralité d'échantillons de résolution inférieure représentant l'image vidéo à une résolution inférieure, les échantillons de résolution inférieure des différentes projections représentant des groupes différents, mais qui se chevauchent, des échantillons de résolution supérieure qui se chevauchent spatialement dans le plan de l'image vidéo ; un encodeur configuré pour encoder le signal vidéo en encodant les différentes projections dans des flux encodés séparés respectifs ; et un émetteur configuré pour transmettre chacun des flux encodés séparés à un terminal récepteur via un réseau.
