Abstract
The present invention concerns an automatic device (D) for the survey of the occupancy status of access telephone networks with twisted copper pair infrastructure, mainly consisting of: connecting means (P1, P2) for the connection to urban distribution frames (100), distribution cabinets (200) and other components of access telephone network; a module (3) for the recognition of the telephone services active on said single twisted pairs examined; modules (4, 5, 6) for the survey of the telephone number corresponding to the single twisted pairs examined, both on analogical lines, of the PSTN type, and on digital lines, of the ISDN type; a module (8) for the survey of the telephone number corresponding to the single twisted pairs examined, on digital lines, of the ADSL type or similar; a possible measuring instrument (9), suitable for the electric qualification of the single twisted pairs examined, and of the telephone lines deriving there from. Said device (D) furthermore comprises a control means (2) adapted to manage the checks of the twisted pairs, and a processing means adapted to manage the possible updating, with the data obtained, of a remote database (DB) containing the information concerning the occupancy status of the concerned telephone network.
