Abstract

An arrangement for a snack package relates to a new structural arrangement for food packaging, for storing a hamburger-like snack. More specifically, the present package makes it possible to store and protect the snack in a horizontal position and helps the user consume the snack, because of the structure that allows holding the snack in a vertical position and exposing the snack progressively, by detaching and folding the sides, front and bottom of the package, until the entire snack is consumed.

FIELD OF CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT

The present Utility Model refers to a new constructive arrangement applied to food packaging for the storage of hamburger-type snacks. More particularly, the present package allows the storage and protection of the snack in the horizontal position, and assists the user during the consumption of the snack, due to its structure that allows the vertical grip of the snack and its progressive exposure by the detachment. and folding of its sides, front and bottom, until its total consumption.

RATIONALE OF CONSTRUCTIVE PROVISION

Currently, packaging plays a fundamental role for the storage, conservation, transportation, disposal and use of products of various types, and their format, size and material elaborated according to the content to be preserved. Packaging intended for the food industry, particularly fast food, is designed from the adoption of appropriate materials and geometric shapes, in order to incorporate properties that meet specific requirements, including:

Heat protection and retention: Packaging should hygienically protect the product and retain its heat for as long as possible as snacks are prepared for short-term consumption. space of time and no need for preheating. Due to the dynamics of modern urban life, this need has become more evident as consumers need to transport them from the cafeteria to the place of consumption, such as homes, offices or even places of leisure;

Disposability: The increased consumption of this class of food and the unfeasibility of working with returnable and washable containers led to the emergence of disposable packaging. For the cafeteria, the ease of always using new packaging is created, which does not require industrial washing systems. However, it is always desirable to use packaging whose disposal can be made consciously and feasibly;

- easy to handle: the packaging must have shape, fittings, foldings and cutouts that are easy to assemble and close after the snack worker inserts the snack, have a simple opening and help the user during the snack consumption. Many of the quick snacks are designed to be eaten without the help of plates, forks and knives, which brings difficulties to the user, who pushes the snack with his hands and directs it towards the mouth.

In the particular case of hamburger-type snacks there was a dedication of the peculiar technical environment, since hamburgers are snacks whose structure is unstable, because they are conceived from the overlap of elements of very different shapes and textures. In other words, the hamburger remains stable while mounted and placed in a horizontal position, but when held vertically it can break, spill sauce or even partially or completely slip from the user's hands.

This aggravating factor led the technical community to develop various packaging models, in the form of bags, films or containers, polymeric and / or paper, in an attempt to make the consumption of snacks increasingly comfortable.

For example, it is very common to use plastic wrap paper to wrap hamburgers, so that the user unwrap it carefully, trying to hold it and hold it in the bottom of the hamburger, while consuming it at the top end. .

This form, very common, allows the consumption of snacks, however, in most cases allows the leakage of fat through its folds to the user's hands, bringing discomfort. Also, such packages do not properly retain heat, which does not make them suitable for carrying snacks.

Another model widely used for this purpose is the casings or boxes, most commonly the prismatic one, consisting of two concave elements, later connected by one of the edges, such as a hinge, while in its front region locking elements are arranged for closing the upper element over the lower ô. Such a model solves the heat retention problem by being made of paper which is thicker than the film and adds greater heat retention capacity. In addition, it is designed to keep the snack upright, which keeps it stable. However, prismatic boxes have the disadvantage of not assisting the user during grabbing and snacking, which creates a nuisance to the user, using napkins to try to keep their hands clean.

CONSTRUCTIVE PROVISION SUMMARY

Based on this problem, the inventor developed the present packaging, incorporating new functionalities and concepts, in order to fill these and other gaps.

For this, the present packaging was designed with a circular shape, similar to hamburger, however, with a small rectangular projection covering part of its perimeter, being delineated by four tangential edges, forming a super-rectangular semi-cylinder.

The upper portion of the rectangular end bears the opening with small flaps and an "L" shaped flange, integral with the rear face, and whose narrow end fits within a cutout contained in the front face, closing the package. This package incorporates a different concept for this type of packaging, which is the existence of perforation along the lateral edges, from the rectangular end to the semi-cylinder bottom, and several folds arranged parallel along the faces and sides, which makes it possible to perform the detachment of the faces and their folding in a segmented way, progressively exposing the snack while it is consumed.

Thus, the packaging presented here fully meets all the above needs, as it stores the snack keeping it horizontal, properly retains the heat (because it is made of cardboard) and allows the correct and ergonomic grip by the user, having its shape semi-cylindrical, fitting and holding the snack in an upright position. The fact of having tearing and folding allows the user to "peel" the package in a segmented way, gradually exposing the snack while consuming it. This prevents the user from getting too much of his hands while eating, retains any fat that stands out from the snack, helps the user to hold the snack stably and eat without worrying that the snack will slip or fall.

Another advantage of the present patent is that it is designed from a single sheet of paperboard because it is designed to achieve a packaging with as few parts as possible. The cutouts and foldings for the assembly of the package were also conveniently configured and arranged to allow it to be easily assembled for snacking by cafeteria staff.

Therefore, the present patent application presents a practical and innovative hamburger-type snack packaging model with all aesthetic and functional qualities, designed and developed according to the most modern techniques, and also allows it to be sized to store snacks. other shapes, provided that the rectangular projection is increased and the diameter of the semi-cylindrical portion is reduced, closer to the shape of the snack to be stored.

Thus, it is to be understood that the packaging presented here is extremely simple in its constructivity and, therefore, is easily feasible, but excellent practical and functional results are obtained, offering a way to be innovative in relation to the known models.

Designed with innovative design, it results in a harmonic set, very peculiar aspect and, above all, characteristic, and besides the constructive aspect, the model stands out for its versatility and convenience of use.
