More specifically, the present invention relates to an oxygen concentrator having a dehumidifying function for compressed air, which is a raw material gas, and a silencing function for reducing airflow noise generated when nitrogen adsorbed on an adsorbent is desorbed and exhausted.
- oxygen inhalation therapy is to allow a patient to inhale oxygen gas or oxygen-enriched air.
- Oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen, oxygen gas cylinders, and the like are known as oxygen supply sources, but oxygen concentrators are mainly used for home oxygen therapy because of convenience during use and ease of maintenance. .
- the oxygen concentrator is a device that concentrates and supplies about 21% oxygen contained in the air to the user, and includes a membrane oxygen concentrator using a membrane that selectively permeates oxygen, nitrogen or There is a pressure fluctuation adsorption type oxygen concentrator using an adsorbent capable of preferentially adsorbing oxygen.
- pressure fluctuation adsorption type oxygen concentrators are mainly used from the viewpoint of obtaining oxygen gas having a high concentration of 90% or more.
- the pressure fluctuation adsorption type oxygen concentrator is an air compressed by a compressor in an adsorption cylinder filled with molecular sieve zeolite such as 5A type, 13X type, and Li-X type as an adsorbent that selectively adsorbs nitrogen rather than oxygen.
- molecular sieve zeolite such as 5A type, 13X type, and Li-X type as an adsorbent that selectively adsorbs nitrogen rather than oxygen.
- one adsorption cylinder is a pressure adsorption process
- the other adsorption cylinder is set to a decompression process, and both processes are sequentially switched. By doing so, oxygen-enriched gas can be continuously generated.
- a two-way valve or a three-way valve switching valve is used.
- a pressure equalizing step is provided in which the other adsorption cylinder is connected by piping and the pressure of each adsorption cylinder is the same.
- the adsorption cylinder that starts the pressure adsorption process can recover the pressure energy and hold a high pressure in advance, thereby reducing power consumption. Further, in the adsorption cylinder in which the decompression process starts, the pressure immediately before the nitrogen is exhausted to the outside of the adsorption cylinder can be lowered, and the airflow noise generated during the nitrogen exhaust can be suppressed to a low level. However, in the adsorption cylinder where the decompression process begins, the pressure is sufficiently high even after the pressure equalization process is finished, and if the desorbed exhaust gas is exhausted directly to atmospheric pressure, a large air flow noise is generated.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus that improves the noise of the air flow when exhausting desorbed exhaust gas and realizes low noise by reviewing the flow path of the nitrogen exhaust port of the apparatus.

- a control means 115 for controlling the compressor and the flow path switching valve and a cooling fan 116 for cooling the inside of the apparatus are incorporated.
- raw material air taken in from the outside is taken in from an air intake port provided with an external air intake filter 101 and an intake silencer 102 for removing foreign matters such as dust.
- the normal air contains 1.2% of oxygen gas of about 21%, nitrogen gas of about 77%, argon gas of 0.8%, water vapor and the like.
- oxygen gas is taken out from the adsorption cylinder filled with an adsorbent made of zeolite or the like that selectively adsorbs nitrogen gas molecules rather than oxygen gas molecules.
- the source air is pressurized and supplied by the compressor 103, and approximately 77% of nitrogen gas contained in the source air is selectively adsorbed and removed in the adsorption cylinder. Water vapor is contained in the raw material air.
- nitrogen adsorbents such as the above zeolite have higher moisture adsorbing ability than nitrogen adsorbing ability, so it is adsorbed that the raw air is dehumidified and dried in advance. - Oxygen-enriched air generated from the raw air is stored in the product tank 108.
- the oxygen-enriched air stored in the product tank contains high concentration oxygen gas, for example, 95%, and the supply flow rate and pressure are controlled by the pressure regulating valve 109, the flow rate setting means 110, etc. Supplied.
- the humidifier 114 includes a water-free humidifier that takes in moisture from external air and supplies it to dry oxygen-enriched air by a moisture-permeable membrane module having a moisture-permeable membrane, and a bubbling humidifier using water. Alternatively, a surface evaporation humidifier can be used. Further, the set value of the inflow setting means 110 is detected, and the control means 115 controls the rotation speed of the compressor motor, thereby controlling the amount of air supplied to the adsorption cylinder. When the set flow rate is low, the amount of generated oxygen can be suppressed and the power consumption can be reduced by reducing the rotation speed. As the cooling fan 116 for air-cooling the inside of the apparatus, an axial flow type cooling fan or a centrifugal blower is used.
- the driving method may be alternating current or direct current.
- the rotation speed of the cooling fan is also controlled.
- the direction of the cooling air may be either a forced convection method that ventilates the air in the compressor box or a forced air cooling method that directly applies the cooling air to the compressor.

- a purge process that promotes nitrogen desorption and increases regeneration efficiency by flowing from the end of the product in the latter half high concentration oxygen can be efficiently generated over a long period of time.
- gas is exhausted from the pressurized adsorption cylinder immediately after completion of the adsorption process to the outside of the system through the exhaust pipe, which causes exhaust noise.
- a silencer is used downstream of the exhaust pipe to reduce the exhaust noise.
- a hollow fiber dehumidifier used for dehumidification of raw material air is used in combination as a desorption exhaust gas silencer.
- a shape such as a rectangle or a circle can be used.
- a diagonal line can be used for a rectangular shape, and an inner diameter can be used for a circular shape.
- the cross-sectional shape of the cylindrical container is preferably a circular shape from the viewpoint that the desorbed exhaust gas easily comes into contact with the hollow fiber membrane bundle.
- the dehumidifying silencer 6 includes a cylindrical container 602 and a moisture permeable hollow fiber membrane bundle 601 in which both ends 603 and 604 are sealed in the container, The desorption exhaust gas is allowed to pass through the outside of the hollow fiber membrane in the container.
- the hollow fiber membrane material polysulfone, polyetherimide, polyimide or the like having moisture permeability can be used, but it is preferable to use polyimide from the viewpoint of chemical stability, pressure resistance and the like.
- the number of hollow fiber bundles is determined by the dehumidifying capacity, and a raw material having an inner diameter of about 0.4 to 0.6 mm ⁇ and an oxygen generation capacity of about 0.5 to 1 L / min by using 500 to 1000 hollow fiber membrane bundles. - the direction in which the desorption exhaust gas flows through the dehumidifying silencer can be used either opposite or parallel to the flow of compressed air.
- the flow passage cross-sectional area outside the hollow fiber membrane with respect to the cylindrical container cross-sectional area is set to 40 to 80%, preferably 60 to 75%, so that the desorption exhaust gas is in contact with the hollow fiber membrane and the water partial pressure difference is reduced.
- FIG. 3 shows the relationship between the inner diameter ratio of the cylindrical container inner diameter (II) to the desorption exhaust gas introduction path inner diameter (I) and the transmission loss (dB) representing the exhaust sound silencing function when the hollow fiber membrane bundle is not mounted. Shown in The permeation loss is such that the airflow temperature is 40 ° C., the length of the cylindrical container 602 is 90 mm, the inner diameter (I) of the inlet side 607 and the outlet side 608 of the desorption / exhaust gas introduction path is 4 mm ⁇ , and the inner diameter (II) of the cylindrical container 602 is Derived by theoretical calculation under changed conditions. From FIG.
- the expansion-type silencing function increases as the cylindrical container inner diameter increases, and it is necessary to increase the inner diameter of the cylindrical container in order to obtain a high silencing function.

- the noise level between was compared.
- the noise value is 41.0 dB (A)
- the noise value is 36.0 dB (A)
- a noise value of 36.6 dB (A) was shown.
- the hollow fiber dehumidifier and the cylindrical container of the dehumidifier exhibit the same silencing effect, and the presence of the hollow fiber bundle hardly affects the silencing effect.
- the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the outside of the hollow fiber membrane to the cross-sectional area of the cylindrical container in the above example is 63%, and the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the outside of the hollow fiber membrane to 700 hollow fibers and the cross-sectional area of the cylindrical container is 74%. Has the same effect.
- the silencing performance as the expansion silencer increases as shown in FIG. 3, but the dehumidification performance due to the water exchange in the hollow fiber membrane decreases.
- the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the flow path outside the hollow fiber membrane to the cross-sectional area of the cylindrical container is 40 to 80%, preferably 60 to 75%, so that the desorption exhaust gas comes into contact with the hollow fiber membrane and moisture
