Abstract

The invention relates to the use of a nonwoven microfabric material, comprising composite fibres which are melt-spun and cuttled to produce a nonwoven with a titre of from 1.5 to 5 dtex, wherein at least 80% of the composite fibres are slivered and strengthened to produce elementary fibres with a titre of from 0.05 to 2.0 dtex as a decorative layer for a decorative laminate.
