L'invention concerne un élément (1) de fermeture destiné à joindre des bandes transporteuses (N) dotées de maillages métalliques (M), en particulier celles utilisées dans des machines de tempérage dans l'industrie alimentaire,et comportant une tige métallique cylindrique rectiligne (3), ladite tige (3) présentant des extrémités opposées identiques (4, 4') façonnées de manière à présenter une courbure (U, U') doublement torsadée.
