Abstract

The invention relates to an improved cabinet system (1) with a plurality of storage areas (15) separated from one another, each storage area (15) being protected against authorised access by a locking means (10, 35, 36, 16, 22), and with a control (4) for actuating the locking means (10, 35, 36, 16, 22) to enable an authorised access to the storage area (15). Each of at least two storage areas (15) are formed by a drawer (9, 11). For each drawer (9, 11), a drive means (27) connected to the control (4) is provided for mechanically moving the drawer (9, 11) from a first retracted rest position, in which the access to the storage area (15) in the drawer (9, 11) is blocked for a user, into a second retracted access position, in which a user can access the storage area (15), and back into the rest position. The invention also relates to a module housing (8) and a drawer (9, 11) for same.
