Abstract
Apparatus (2) for sensing at least one parameter in water, which apparatus (2) comprises (i) a temperature sensor (24) for sensing temperature in the water; (ii) a substrate (14) which is provided with the temperature sensor (24); (iii) strain compensation means for minimising drift in the temperature sensor caused by stress on the substrate (14), the strain compensation means being such that it uses conduction paths on opposite sides of the substrate (14); and (iv) the conduction paths for the temperature sensor (24) are sinuous conduction paths.
