Abstract

An assembly for modifying the ambiance of a local environment is described which comprises a device and a replaceable refill of volatile fluid, wherein the refill comprises a refill housing containing at least one reservoir of volatile fluid therein, the volatile fluid containing fragrance; and wherein the device comprises a device housing with retaining means configured to releasably retain the refill in engagement with the device, wherein the device is provided with at least one light emitting means operable, in use, to emit at least two different colours and the device is further provided with emanation means operable, in use, to emanate the volatile fluid into the surrounding environment, and wherein the device housing is movable between at least two distinct configurations to impart at least two distinct external appearances to the device.
