Abstract

The present invention relates to a display device that allows the orientations and positions of speakers installed on the display device to be adjusted. The speakers output sound, the display body displays images, and rotary drive units are fixed to the display body and are used for adjusting the orientations and positions of the speakers by rotating the speakers in an arc-like circular motion about respective axes of rotation. Here, the orientations and positions of the speakers may be adjusted either manually or may be adjusted automatically in accordance with the distance of a user from the display device. The present invention can be applied to display devices for displaying images, for example.

Description

Display device
The present disclosure relates to a display device, and more particularly, to a display device that can easily adjust the direction and position of a speaker provided in a main body, for example.
Conventionally, for example, there are external speakers that are detachable on the side of a television receiver or the like.
For example, the speaker is provided with a hook, and the speaker can be easily attached by removing the hook by hooking the hook to a side surface of a television receiver or the like. For example, see Patent Document 1).
Here, in a speaker with a hook, although it is easy to attach and detach with the hook, the direction of the speaker attached to the side surface of the television receiver or the like is constant, and the direction of the speaker cannot be adjusted.
Therefore, there is a speaker configured to be rotatable so that the orientation of the speaker can be adjusted (see, for example, Patent Documents 2 and 3).

However, in the above-described speaker configured to be rotatable, the orientation of the speaker can be adjusted by rotating the speaker itself, but the position of the speaker cannot be adjusted.

<1. First Embodiment>
[Example of configuration of television receiver 1]
FIG. 1 shows a rear view of a television receiver 1 according to the first embodiment.
The television receiver 1 includes a display main body 21, speakers 22 </ b > L and 22 </ b > R, connecting members 23 </ b > L 1 , 23 </ b > L 2 , 23 </ b > R 1 , 23 </ b > R 2 , rotation driving units 24 </ b > L 1 , 24L 2 , 24R 1 , 24R 2 , and a stand 25. Composed.
As shown in FIG. 1, the television receiver 1 is configured so that the speakers 22L and 22R connected to the left and right of the display main body 21 are rotatable, and the orientation and position of the speakers 22L and 22R are It can be adjusted according to the distance to the user.
That is, in the present disclosure, the speakers 22L and 22R are rotatable so as to draw an arc of a circle around the rotation axis provided in the rotation driving units 24L 1 , 24L 2 , 24R 1 , 24R 2 .
Therefore, unlike the case where the speaker itself is provided with a rotation axis so that the direction of the speaker can be adjusted, the positions of the speakers 22L and 22R can be easily adjusted in addition to the directions of the speakers 22L and 22R.
The display main body 21 has a display surface 21 a for displaying an image and is supported by a stand 25. In addition, on the back surface 21b of the display body 21 (the surface on the back side of the display surface 21a), there are rotation driving units 24L 1 , 24L 2 , 24R 1 , 24R 2 on the upper left, lower left, upper right, and lower right in the figure, respectively. It is fixed with screws.
The speaker 22L is connected to the left side of the display main body 21 in the figure via connection members 23L 1 and 23L 2 to rotation driving units 24L 1 and 24L 2 fixed to the back surface 21b of the display main body 21.
The speaker 22L is a rotary driving unit 24L 1 and 24L 2, are freely rotate in the front-rear direction (the normal direction in FIG. 1). An example of rotating the speaker 22L will be described in detail with reference to FIG.
The speaker 22R is connected to the rotation drive units 24R 1 and 24R 2 fixed to the back surface 21b of the display body 21 via connection members 23R 1 and 23R 2 on the right side of the display body 21 in the figure.
The speaker 22R, like the speaker 22L, the rotary drive unit 24R 1 and 24R 2, is rotatable in the longitudinal direction in FIG.
Here, the speakers 22L and 22R are assumed to be speakers having directivity (relatively high directivity speakers), but may be speakers having no directivity.
Further, in FIG. 1, the display main body 21 is provided with the two speakers 22L and 22R, but the number and arrangement of the speakers are not limited to this.
That is, for example, the speaker 22L may be provided only on the left side of the display main body 21 in the drawing, or a speaker may be newly provided on the upper side of the display main body 21 in the drawing together with the speakers 22L and 22R.
One end of the connection member 23L 1 is connected to the upper portion of the speaker 22L, and the other end is connected to the rotation drive unit 24L 1 . Similarly, one end of the connection member 23R 1 is connected to the upper portion of the speaker 22R, and the other end is connected to the rotation drive unit 24R 1 .
The connection member 23L 2 has one end connected to the lower portion of the speaker 22L and the other end connected to the rotation drive unit 24L 2 . Similarly, connecting member 23R 2 has its one end connected to the lower portion of the speaker 22R, the other end connected to a rotary drive unit 24R 2.
The rotation driving units 24L 1 and 24L 2 are respectively connected to the rotation driving units 24L 1 and 24L 2 via the connection members 23L 1 and 23L 2 by rotating about the vertical direction of FIG. Rotate 22L.
That is, the rotation driving units 24L 1 and 24L 2 adjust the orientation and position of the speaker 22L by rotating the speaker 22L.
Similarly, the rotation drive units 24R 1 and 24R 2 are connected to the rotation drive units 24R 1 and 24R 2 via the connection members 23R 1 and 23R 2 by rotating about the vertical direction in FIG. The selected speaker 22R is rotated.
That is, the rotation driving units 24R 1 and 24R 2 adjust the direction and position of the speaker 22R by rotating the speaker 22R.
The stand 25 supports the display main body 21. The stand 25 can be configured to be detachable from the display body 21.
[Rotation of speaker 22L]
FIG. 2 shows a top view of the speaker 22 </ b> L connected to the television receiver 1.
Since the speaker 22R is connected and rotated in the same manner as the speaker 22L, only the speaker 22L is described in FIG. 2, and the description of the speaker 22R is omitted.
Further, the connection member 23L 1 and the rotation drive unit 24L 1 are configured in the same manner as the connection member 23L 2 and the rotation drive unit 24L 2 . Therefore, in FIG. 2, for convenience of explanation, the connection members 23L 1 and 23L 2 are not distinguished from each other and referred to as the connection member 23L, and the rotation drive units 24L 1 and 24L 2 are referred to as the rotation drive unit 24L.
2A shows the speaker 22L when the angle θ formed between the display surface 21a of the display main body 21 and the connection member 23L is 0 (θ = 0).
FIG. 2B shows the speaker 22L when the angle formed between the display surface 21a of the display main body 21 and the connecting member 23L is positive (θ> 0).
2A and 2B, the rotation drive unit 24L is provided with a fixing member 24La. The fixing member 24La is, for example, a screw or the like for locking (fixing) the rotation of the rotation driving unit 24L, and is tightened when the speaker 22L is locked, and is loosened when the speaker 22L is unlocked.
Therefore, for example, the user can manually adjust the orientation and position of the speaker 22L after loosening the fixing member 24La.
That is, for example, when the speaker 22L is rotated by a user's hand or the like, the orientation and position of the speaker 22L is shown in FIG. 2B from the state (θ = 0) shown in FIG. To be adjusted (θ> 0).
Specifically, the speaker 22L is rotated by the rotation drive unit 24L so as to draw a circular arc centering on the rotation axis extending in the normal direction of A in FIG. 2 and B in FIG. The direction and position of 22L are adjusted. Here, the rotation shaft is provided, for example, inside the rotation drive unit 24L of A of FIG. 2 and B of FIG.
Thus, the rotation axis is provided not in the speaker 22L but in the rotation drive unit 24L. Therefore, for example, unlike the case where the rotation axis is provided inside the speaker, it is possible to adjust the position of the speaker 22L in addition to the orientation of the speaker 22L.
Even if the rotation is not locked by the fixing member 24La, the fixing member 24La can be omitted if the rotation driving unit 24L is configured so that the speaker 22L does not rotate naturally.
In this case, the speaker 22L rotates only when a relatively strong force is applied by the user.
Further, in FIGS. 2A and 2B, it has been described that the speaker 22L is rotated to the display surface 21a side to obtain an angle θ> 0. However, the speaker 22L is rotated to the rear surface 21b side to obtain an angle θ <0. can do.
Therefore, for example, if the user rotates the speaker 22L until it is hidden behind the display surface 21a, the horizontal width of the television receiver 1 (in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B) is increased by the amount of the speaker 22L. The width in the left-right direction can be reduced.
For this reason, for example, the user can prevent the television receiver 1 from occupying a lot of space by downsizing the television receiver 1 when the television receiver 1 is not used.
Further, when the user fastens the fixing member 24La, the speaker 22L can be fixed by a combination of the direction and position desired by the user, but the speaker 22L can be fixed only by any one of a plurality of predetermined combinations. It can be constituted as follows.
That is, for example, the speaker 22L may be configured so that the angle θ can be adjusted in stages (for example, the angle can be adjusted in three stages of θ 1 , θ 2 , and θ 3 ).
Furthermore, in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, the speaker 22L is connected to the back surface 21b of the display main body 21 via the connection member 23L and the rotation drive unit 24L. It is not limited.
That is, for example, the speaker 22L is connected to the side surface of the display main body 21 (a surface perpendicular to the display surface 21a in FIGS. 2A and 2B) through the connection member 23L and the rotation driving unit 24L. It may be.
Further, for example, in A of FIG. 2 and B of FIG. 2, a connection member 23L is provided between the speaker 22L and the rotation drive unit 24L so that the speaker 22L can rotate without contacting the display main body 21. A gap was made.
However, if there is no possibility of contacting the display main body 21 when the speaker 22L rotates, the speaker 22L may be provided so that the speaker 22L and the display main body 21 are in close contact with each other.
That is, for example, the rotation drive unit 24L may be provided on the side surface of the display main body 21, and the speaker 22L may be provided directly on the rotation drive unit 24L without using the connection member 23L.
As shown in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, since the speaker 22L is configured to be rotatable, the user can freely adjust the orientation and position of the speaker 22L according to the distance from the display main body 21 to the user. can do. The same applies to the speaker 22R.
For this reason, the user can view the television receiver 1 (content displayed on the television receiver 1) in a comfortable environment.
Further, for example, even when a connection terminal, an operation button, or the like provided on the back surface 21b of the display body 21 is hidden by the speaker 22L, the connection terminal can be easily used by changing the position of the speaker 22L. The operation buttons can be operated. The same applies to the speaker 22R.
Incidentally, in FIGS. 2A and 2B, it has been described that the orientation and position of the speaker 22L are manually adjusted. However, the television receiver 1 automatically adjusts according to the distance to the user. You may make it adjust.
<2. Second Embodiment>
[Configuration Example of Television Receiver 1 for Adjusting Speakers]
Next, FIG. 3 shows a configuration example of the television receiver 1 in which the directions and positions of the speakers 22L and 22R are adjusted according to the distance to the user.
This television receiver 1 includes an antenna 61, a tuner 62, a signal processing unit 63, a distance measuring unit 64, an angle calculating unit 65, an angle adjusting unit 66, a control, in addition to the display body 21, the speaker 22, and the rotation driving unit 24. The unit 67 and the light receiving unit 68 are included.
In FIG. 3, in order to simplify the description, the speakers 22L and 22R are not distinguished from each other and are simply referred to as the speaker 22, and the rotation driving units 24L 1 , 24L 2 , 24R 1 , 24R 2 are simply referred to as the rotation driving unit. 24.
Further, the television receiver 1 performs predetermined processing by a radio signal (for example, infrared rays) from the remote controller 2.
The antenna 61 receives, for example, a television broadcast signal and supplies it to the signal processing unit 63.
The tuner 62 acquires a program or the like in a predetermined frequency band (channel) from the television broadcast signal supplied from the antenna 61, and outputs the acquired program image data and audio data to the signal processing unit 63.
The signal processing unit 63 performs predetermined image processing on the image data from the tuner 62 and supplies the image data after the image processing to the display main body 21 for display.
Also, the signal processing unit 63 performs predetermined audio processing on the audio data from the tuner 62, and supplies the audio data after the audio processing to the speaker 22 for output.
The distance measuring unit 64 measures the distance to the user and supplies the measurement result to the angle calculating unit 65.
Here, as the distance measuring unit 64, for example, the time from when the laser is irradiated to the user until the reflected light from the user is detected is measured, and based on the measured time and the speed of the laser, A laser range finder or the like that measures the distance can be used.
Further, for example, as the distance measuring unit 64, a plurality of cameras can be employed. In this case, the distance measuring unit 64 measures the distance to the user by using the parallax of a plurality of cameras based on the captured image obtained from each camera.
The distance measuring unit 64 is not limited to a laser range finder or a plurality of cameras, and may have any configuration as long as the distance to the user can be measured.
The angle calculation unit 65 is based on the distance supplied from the distance measurement unit 64, and the angle θ formed between the connection member (for example, the connection member 23L) connected to the speaker 22 and the display surface 21a, that is, the direction of the speaker 22 An angle θ representing the position is calculated and supplied to the angle adjustment unit 66.
In addition, the angle calculation part 65 shall hold | maintain beforehand the table which matched the angle (theta) which should be adjusted according to the distance to a user, and the distance, for example. For this reason, the angle calculation unit 65 calculates the angle θ corresponding to the distance to the user from the held table based on the distance supplied from the distance measurement unit 64.
Further, for example, the angle calculation unit 65 may hold a function representing the relationship between the distance to the user and the angle θ to be adjusted according to the distance instead of the table. In this case, the angle calculation unit 65 calculates the angle θ based on the distance from the distance measurement unit 64 based on the function.
The angle adjustment unit 66 controls the rotation drive unit 24 based on the angle θ from the angle calculation unit 65 to drive the rotation drive unit 24. Thereby, the direction and position of the speaker 22 are adjusted to an appropriate direction and position according to the distance to the user.
In the angle adjustment unit 66, the angle θ is used as adjustment information for adjusting the orientation and position of the speaker 22, but the adjustment information is not limited to this. That is, for example, as the adjustment information, a difference (θ e −θ s ) obtained by subtracting the angle θ s before adjustment from the angle θ e after adjustment can be employed.
In this case, the angle adjusting unit 66 controls the rotation driving unit 24 to change the angle θ from the angle θ s to the angle θ e by rotating the speaker 22 by the difference (θ e −θ s ), The direction and position of the speaker 22 can be adjusted to the direction and position corresponding to the angle θ e .
The control unit 67 controls the tuner 62, the signal processing unit 63, the distance measurement unit 64, the angle calculation unit 65, and the angle adjustment unit 66.
The light receiving unit 68 receives (receives) a radio signal emitted from the remote controller 2 and supplies the signal to the control unit 67.
The control unit 67 performs a predetermined process based on the radio signal from the light receiving unit 68.
That is, for example, when the user performs an adjustment operation for adjusting the angle θ representing the direction and position of the speaker 22 using the remote controller 2, the remote controller 2 displays an operation signal corresponding to the user's adjustment operation. Is output to the light receiving unit 68 as a radio signal. The light receiving unit 68 supplies the wireless signal from the remote controller 2 to the control unit 67.
The control unit 67 controls the rotation driving unit 24 based on the radio signal from the light receiving unit 68, and rotates the rotation driving unit 24, thereby adjusting the angle θ representing the direction and position of the speaker 22 by the user's adjustment operation. Change the angle according to.
[Adjustment process performed by the television receiver 1 in FIG. 3]
Next, an adjustment process in which the television receiver 1 adjusts the angle θ according to the distance to the user will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
Note that this adjustment process is started, for example, when the television receiver 1 is turned on.
In step S1, the distance measurement unit 64 measures the distance to the user and supplies the measurement result to the angle calculation unit 65.
In step S <b> 2, the angle calculation unit 65 calculates an angle θ representing the orientation and position of the speaker 22 (speakers 22 </ b> L and 22 </ b> R) based on the distance supplied from the distance measurement unit 64 and supplies the calculated angle θ to the angle adjustment unit 66. .
In step S <b> 3, the angle adjustment unit 66 controls the rotation drive unit 24 based on the angle θ from the angle calculation unit 65 and drives the rotation drive unit 24 to adjust the orientation and position of the speaker 22. The process returns to step S1, and thereafter the same process is performed.
Note that this adjustment processing is ended when, for example, the power of the television receiver 1 in FIG. 3 is turned off.
As described above, according to the adjustment process, the television receiver 1 of FIG. 3 calculates the distance to the user, and adjusts the speaker 22 so that the orientation and position correspond to the calculated distance. I made it. For this reason, it is possible to save the user from manually adjusting the speaker 22.
In the television receiver 1, the speakers 22 </ b> L and 22 </ b> R can be configured to be detachable from the display body 21.
Next, FIG. 5 shows an example of the speaker 22R attached to the back surface 21b of the display body 21.
Since the speaker 22L is connected in the same manner as the speaker 22R, only the connection of the speaker 22R will be described in FIG. 5, and description of the speaker 22L will be omitted.
The rotation drive unit 24R 2 is fixed to the back surface 21b of the display main body 21 with screws 81. Incidentally, the rotation driving unit 24R 2 is fixed members 24Ra 2 for locking the rotation of the rotary drive portion 24R 2 is provided.
The screw 81 is loosened when the speaker 22R is removed from the back surface 21b of the display body 21.
The cable 82 has one end connected to the back surface 21b of the display body 21 and the other end connected to the speaker 22R. The cable 82 supplies the audio data output from the signal processing unit 63 of FIG. 3 to the speaker 22R.
Further, one end of the cable 82 is configured to be detachable from the back surface 21b of the display main body 21.
The rotation drive unit 24R 1 is configured in the same manner as the rotation drive unit 24R 2 shown in FIG. 5 except that the cable 82 is not provided.
Next, FIG. 6 shows an example when the speaker 22R is detached from the back surface 21b of the display main body 21. FIG.
The speaker 22R, the rotation driving unit 24R 2, by loosening the screws 81 in FIG. 5, can be removed from the back 21b of the display body 21. This also applies to the rotary drive unit 24R 1.
5 and 6, since the speaker 22R is configured to be detachable, the user can attach a desired speaker to the display main body 21 instead of the speaker 22R. The same applies to the speaker 22L.

That is, for example, in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, if the rotation drive unit 24L is configured to be able to rotate with a plurality of different rotation axes, the direction and position of the speaker 22L can be adjusted in various directions.
