Abstract
The invention relates to the cans (10) in which beverages are positioned, characterized in that it comprises a protection layer (13) located on the said can (10).
Description
Description
A PROTECTION LAYER FOR BEVERAGE CANS
Technical Field
The invention relates to a structuring where the opening and drinking part (lip contact point) of the drinks that are manufactured and sold in cans is protected.
Prior Art
As it is known, the can drinks mostly have cylindrical structures. They have a structure where there is a lift ring over the cylindrical structure and where a drinking space is formed by the lifting the ring. The drinking space substantially provides that the beverage can be drunk by means of this space after pushing the ring and bringing the ring to drinking position. The can drink containers that are currently used go through various processes and stages from manufacturing until reaching final customers. During this process, it is not possible that these containers remain clean and antibacterial. Consumers, due to this reason, tent to drink the beverage by means of a glass instead of directly drinking it from the can. Within the situations where drinking from the can is essential and/or there in no cup sales in the sales channels; it has been observed that the customers who are sensitive about this subject drink after cleaning the coke can by using a hanky. This case is a general case that is observed in the consumption of the entire can beverages.
One Turkish application was come across in the patent research that relates to the protection of the lip contact point in the can drinks. Within the abstract of the patent with the number TR2005/01670 dated 05/05/2005, it is disclosed that the invention is a detachable cover providing that the area remains hygienic for its initial user where the lip touches the upper part of the can of coke, beer, fruit juice etc. that are offered in cans within the beverage sector.
Another application is the Utility Model application with the number TR2001/03318. Within the abstract of this application is stated that this invention is a protection cover system of a can for a beverage, this cover system being substantially attached/mounted on the top/edge of the cans that include liquid food and liquid materials like water, yoghurt drink, coke, fruit juice and thus protects the top/edge area and the liquid from the external factors and provides the consumption of the liquid food
in a hygienic environment by being protected by the like heat, light, scent, humidity, microbe; and if the liquid food is not consumed at once it does provide thanks to the protection cover that it can be consumed several times and prevents the environmental pollution caused by the flowing, pouring of the non-consumed liquid food left in the can and thanks to recycling it provides that the cans can be picked up and used for other purposes.
Description of the Invention A purpose of the invention is that it has different technical specifications that make an expansion in this field different from the embodiments used in the art.
A purpose of the invention is to make the drinking of the beverage healthier when drunk directly from the can in a sterile way.
Another purpose of the invention is to avoid the formation of the harmful bacteria in the lip level area where there is the lift ring.
Another purpose of the invention is to protect the surface of the can in that contacts the lip during the manufacturing phase and then, protects it from the harmful material like dust, dirt and harmful material that emerge during transportation, stowage and selling.
Another purpose of the invention is to present a production that shows consideration for a healthy public and people through the protection the lip contact area of the beverage cans.
In order the fulfill the abovementioned objects; it is purposed to make healthier to directly drink the beverage from the cans in a sterile way; with a view to avoiding harmful bacteria formation that emerge in the lip level around the lift rings of the cans, it is objected to apply sterile nylon on the edge part of the can in the can manufacturing process.
So as to fulfill the abovementioned objects; the sterile nylon is adhered to the lift ring, wherein; the sterile part level with the lip is revealed when the lifting ring is lifted and together with this, an antibacterial, clean, healthy consumption takes place.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to the cans (10) in which beverages are positioned, characterized in that; it comprises a protection layer (13) that is located at the lip contact area (11.1) on the top surface (11) of the said can (10), in a way to enclose the lift ring (12).
Figure-1 shows the dismounted the view of the protection layer (13) over the can (10) according to the invention. The protection layer (13) is substantially a sterile nylon material and it has transparency. It is preferably possible for it to be produced from non-transparent materials.
Figure-2 shows the mounted the view of the protection layer (13) to the can (10). As it can be understood from the figure, the transparent sterile nylon layer is indicated via dashed lines, wherein; this view shows preferably the covered state of the can (10) by the protection layer (13) up until its throat part in a way to enclose a determined area. The protection layer (13) comprises the opening tape (14) as well. The opening tape (14) provides an easier and faster opening. Figure-3 is the view of an alternative model where the protection layer (13) is preferably positioned only on the lip contact area (11.1) that is the drinking part. Within this
alternative model only the lip contact area (11.1) is covered and in Figure-4 there is an alternative structure shown where the sides of the lip contact area (1 1.1) are covered as well.
