Description

Clothes dryer
The present invention relates to a clothes dryer for drying clothes.
Conventional clothes dryers are equipped with a blower that dries clothes using warm air and cools the inside of the casing.
Usually, the air in the housing of the clothes dryer becomes hot and humid by drying the clothes. Therefore, the conventional clothes dryer introduces outside air into the casing from the outside of the casing through the outside air introduction port by a blower. This cools the air inside the casing that has become hot and humid, and discharges the air to the outside of the casing.
Also, in the case of a clothes dryer equipped with a heat pump device for generating hot air, the air of the heat pump device, particularly the compressor, is cooled with air introduced from outside the housing by a blower. Thereby, the heat exchange efficiency of the heat pump device is improved.
At this time, the outside air inlet for introducing outside air into the housing is formed on the bottom surface of the housing. Thereby, compared with the case where an external air introduction port is formed in the front surface of a housing | casing, the penetration | invasion of the water and a foreign material from the exterior into a housing | casing can be suppressed. However, when the outside air introduction port is formed on the bottom surface of the housing, dust that tends to be generated (stored) near the bottom surface of the housing may be introduced into the housing from the outside air introduction port.
Therefore, a clothes dryer having a filter for collecting dust at the outside air inlet is proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
However, the clothes dryer disclosed in Patent Document 1 is likely to be clogged (that is, the filter gap is blocked) due to dust adhering to the filter. When clogging occurs in the filter, the efficiency of introducing outside air that is introduced into the housing from the outside decreases.
Therefore, the clothes dryer has a configuration in which the user pulls the filter forward and cleans the filter.
However, the configuration in which the filter is pulled out to the front of the casing requires a gap between the front surface of the clothes dryer casing and the filter, so that water, foreign matter, etc. enter through the gap. Moreover, since a part of filter was exposed to the housing | casing front surface of a clothes dryer, there existed a subject that the beauty | look of the housing | casing front surface of a clothing dryer was impaired.
In order to avoid this, a configuration in which the filter is pulled out from the side of the housing is conceivable. However, usually, the clothes dryer is often installed in a place where the space on the side or rear of the casing is narrow. Therefore, it is difficult to employ a configuration in which the filter is pulled out to the side of the clothes dryer.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a clothes dryer of the present invention includes a housing, a drum that houses the clothes to be dried, a hot air generator that generates hot air blown into the drum, and a front in the housing. And a blower that is provided below and introduces outside air into the housing, an outside air introduction port formed at the bottom of the housing and in front of the blower, and an opening that communicates with the blower at the bottom of the housing. It has a configuration.
According to this configuration, no gap is formed on the front surface of the housing of the clothes dryer. Thereby, the invasion of foreign matter from the gap can be prevented. An opening communicating with the blower is provided. Thereby, even when the outside air inlet is blocked, outside air can be introduced into the housing from the opening. As a result, it is possible to realize a clothes dryer that can efficiently cool the inside of the housing and suppress the reduction of the heat exchange efficiency of the heat pump device.
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing a side cross section of a clothes dryer in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the main part when the vicinity of the outside air inlet of the clothes dryer in the embodiment is viewed from the bottom surface side of the housing.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to the present embodiment.
(Embodiment)
Below, the clothes dryer in embodiment of this invention is demonstrated using FIG.
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing a side cross section of a clothes dryer in the present embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, a clothes dryer 10 according to the present embodiment includes a housing 11 having at least a door 15, a drum 12 provided in the housing 11, and a hot air generator 13 including a heat pump device 13. It comprises an apparatus, a blower 14, a motor 16, a drying duct 23, a drying fan 22, and the like. At this time, clothes to be dried and the like are accommodated in the drum 12 by opening and closing the door 15.
The motor 16 rotationally drives the drum 12 via the pulley 17 and the belt 18. Further, the motor 16 rotationally drives the drying fan 22 via the pulley 24 and the belt 25.
The heat pump device 13 is disposed below the housing 11 and is configured to communicate the compressor 19, the condenser 20, the evaporator 21 and the like via a pipe through which the refrigerant circulates.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the drying fan 22 generates an air flow as indicated by a broken-line arrow that circulates in the heat pump device 13, the drying duct 23, and the drum 12. At this time, the air dehumidified by the evaporator 21 of the heat pump device 13 is heated by the condenser 20 and becomes dry hot air. The dried warm air is introduced into the drum 12 through the drying duct 23. Then, the clothes are dried by applying warm air to the clothes to be dried that is stirred by the rotation of the drum 12.
The blower 14 is disposed on the upstream side of the heat pump device 13 on the front side (for example, the left side in FIG. 1) and on the lower side in the housing 11.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the outside air inlet 26 is provided on the bottom surface 11 a of the housing 11 and in front of the blower 14. And by the operation | movement of the air blower 14, as shown by the solid line arrow, the external air outside the housing | casing 11 is introduce | transduced in the housing | casing 11 from the external air introduction port 26. FIG. That is, the outside air inlet 26 is provided in front of the blower 14, that is, on the suction side of the blower 14. Thereby, compared with the case where the external air introduction port 26 is provided in the side and back of the air blower 14, air can be efficiently introduced into the housing 11. That is, by providing the outside air introduction port 26 at a position close to the blower 14 and / or a position where there are few obstacles between the outside air introduction port 26 and the blower 14, air is efficiently introduced from the outside air into the housing 11. it can. Therefore, an inexpensive, for example, axial fan can be used as the blower 14.
Thus, the clothes dryer of the present embodiment is configured.
Hereinafter, the flow of air in the clothes dryer of the present embodiment will be briefly described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, generally, the air in the casing 11 of the clothes dryer 10 becomes high temperature due to heat radiation from the drum 12, the drying duct 23, the motor 16, the heat pump device 13, and the like.
At this time, outside air is introduced into the housing 11 from the outside air inlet 26 by the blower 14. As a result, the air inside the casing 11 that has become hot is cooled and released to the outside of the casing 11.
Furthermore, the outside air introduced into the casing 11 cools the heat pump device 13, particularly the compressor 19. Thereby, the heat exchange efficiency of the heat pump device 13 is improved.
Next, the reason why the outside air inlet 26 is provided in front of and below the housing 11 will be described.
Usually, the clothes dryer 10 is often installed in a place where the space on the side, rear, and upper side of the casing 11 is narrow, and heat is released and moisture is released from the rear of the casing 11 of the clothes dryer 10 and the like. There are many cases. That is, the temperature and humidity of the outside air are lower in the front than in the rear of the clothes dryer 10. Therefore, the direction which introduce | transduced the external air ahead of the clothes dryer 10 has the high efficiency which cools the air in the housing | casing 11 which became high temperature. That is, it is preferable to provide the outside air inlet 26 in front of the clothes dryer 10. Further, in order to efficiently introduce air from the outside air into the housing 11, it is preferable to dispose the blower 14 in front of the housing 11.
Hereinafter, the configuration for introducing the outside air of the clothes dryer of the present embodiment will be described in more detail with reference to FIG.
FIG. 2 is a main part perspective view of the vicinity of the outside air inlet of the clothes dryer in the same embodiment as viewed from the bottom side of the housing.
As shown in FIG. 2, the outside air inlet 26 of the clothes dryer 10 according to the present embodiment includes a plurality of holes 27.
And outside air is introduce | transduced into the inside of the housing | casing 11 from each hole 27 which comprises the outside air inlet 26 by the air blower 14, as shown by the solid line arrow of FIG.
That is, in the present embodiment, the outside air inlet 26 is constituted by a relatively small hole 27. Thereby, it can prevent that a big foreign material is introduce | transduced into the inside of the housing | casing 11 from the outside.
Furthermore, by forming the outside air inlet 26 from the plurality of holes 27, the outside air inlet 26 can be provided with a filter function.
However, if a relatively small hole 27 is formed, for example, a piece of paper may adhere to the hole 27 and the outside air inlet 26 may be blocked, and the outside air may not be sufficiently introduced.
Therefore, the clothes dryer 10 of the present embodiment is provided with an opening 28 on the bottom surface 11a of the housing 11 and in the vicinity of the outside air inlet 26.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 2, the opening 28 is provided in parallel with the outside air inlet 26 (in the lateral direction of the casing 11). The opening 28 is provided in communication with the blower 14. Therefore, even if the outside air introduction port 26 is blocked by paper or the like, outside air is introduced into the housing 11 from the opening 28 as shown by a one-dot chain line arrow in FIG. Thereby, cooling in the housing | casing 11 and cooling of the heat pump apparatus 13 can be performed more efficiently and reliably. The opening 28 and the blower 14 are preferably communicated with each other via a duct 29. Thereby, the outside air from the opening 28 can be reliably introduced into the housing 11.
Also, the outside air inlet 26 and the opening 28 are provided in parallel with the bottom surface 11 a of the housing 11. Thereby, a gap is not formed on the front surface of the housing 11 of the clothes dryer 10. As a result, water and foreign matter can be prevented from entering the housing 11 from the outside air inlet 26 and the opening 28. Furthermore, it is possible to ensure the appearance of the front surface of the housing 11 and maintain high design.
In the present embodiment, the heat pump device has been described as an example of the hot air generating device, but is not limited thereto. For example, a temperature-controlled heater may be used. Thereby, an inexpensive clothes dryer can be realized.
Further, in the present embodiment, the example in which the blower and the motor that rotates the drum are separately configured has been described, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the fan of the blower may be integrally driven by rotation of a motor via a gear or the like. Thereby, a structure can be simplified.
In the present embodiment, no particular mention has been made regarding a filter that collects dust introduced from the outside air inlet or opening, but it goes without saying that a filter may be provided.
As described above, according to the clothes dryer of the present invention, the housing, the drum that houses the clothes to be dried, the hot air generator that generates the hot air blown into the drum, A blower that is provided at the front and below and introduces outside air into the housing, an outside air inlet formed at the bottom of the housing and in front of the blower, and an opening that communicates with the blower at the bottom of the housing. Have a configuration.
As a result, no gap is formed on the front surface of the housing of the clothes dryer, so that foreign matter can be prevented from entering through the gap. Further, even when the outside air inlet is blocked by the opening communicating with the blower, the outside air can be introduced into the housing from the opening. As a result, it is possible to realize a clothes dryer that can efficiently cool the inside of the housing and suppress the reduction of the heat exchange efficiency of the heat pump device.
Further, according to the clothes dryer of the present invention, the opening may be provided in parallel with the outside air inlet. Thereby, even when the outside air inlet is blocked, outside air can be introduced into the housing from the opening.
Further, according to the clothes dryer of the present invention, the outside air inlet may be constituted by a plurality of holes. Thereby, introduction of a large foreign substance into the inside of the housing can be prevented. Furthermore, a filter function can be added to the outside air inlet.
Further, according to the clothes dryer of the present invention, the opening may be configured to communicate with the blower through the duct. Thereby, the outside air from the opening can be introduced into the housing more reliably and efficiently.
Further, according to the clothes dryer of the present invention, the hot air generating device may be constituted by a heat pump device. Thereby, the clothes dryer which has high drying efficiency is realizable.
Since the present invention can reliably introduce the outside air, it is useful in technical fields such as clothes dryers and washing dryers.
