Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of agriculture in particular this invention pertains to development of plant nutrient related to precision agriculture. The invention relates to a plant nutrient composition comprising as first component a nitrogenous, phosphorus or NPK complex fertilizer and as second component humic acid, boric acid, salts of Zn, Cu, Mn, Mg or combination thereof, wherein the ratio of the first component to the second component is in the range of 10: 0.05 to 10: 3. In preferred embodiments the fertiliser is urea or diammonium phosphate and the second component is humic acid, boric acid, fulvic acid, cupric sulphate, zinc sulphate or combination thereof. The first component is optionally treated with castor oil, glycerol or vegetable oil. This plant nutrient is useful for enhancement of significant crop yield.
