Description

A SCENT APPARATUS Technical Field
Invention subject to the application is related to a scent apparatus which used with the aim of absorbing undesired odors present in interior environment or spread from air conditioners and giving off a pleasant scent to the environment and which is attached to exterior surface of the anemostat of the split air conditioner unit and which is filled with material giving off scent in a form of gel or quasi material.
Background Art and Technical Problem
One of the most commonly encountered problems in the climate or air conditioner systems, used with the aim of adjustment of temperature of environment and medium which people reside and providing fresh air by dehumidifying extra humidity, is undesired odors formed as a result of not cleaning filters of the air conditioners in due time or wearing of filters in time.
Another cause of undesired odors is that the present odor in the environment is circulated by definition of its working principle. In order to eliminate undesired odors caused by such reasons and causing unhealthy life, odor filters or various products giving off odor are attached to air conditioning systems in our day.
In the state of prior art; air conditioner producers are including emitting scent functions to air conditioner systems with the aim of omitting fetid odors and achieves this by means of adding an scent apparatus attached to air conditioner interior unit. By this way, desired odor is provided to environment whilst fetid odors are removed from the environment.
Invention, which is the subject of the patent specification with number DE 297 12 821.3, relates to a solution regarding enhancement of ambient air by eliminating fetid odor taking place in environments with air conditioners. Characteristics of the solution which is the subject of the invention is that the invention consists a reservoir for perfume and odor materials, etc. Mentioned reservoir member is designed as self adhesive and as strips which are saturated with ether oil. As the diffusing speed will be fast in the course of emitting odor to the environment, mentioned product has a disadvantage of having a short life cycle. As can be seen from this patent specification, fetid odors caused by air conditioners is a topic of interest well known and being worked on for a long time for the solution.
Another example which is related to the use of odor tablets for the overcoming fetid odors spread from the air conditioners is present in the patent specification with number TR 2007/08757. In this invention, air conditioner interior unit contains an odor apparatus which a tablet spreading essence is present within. While air conditioner interior unit works, air is taken in from the gaps on the air intake grille with the suction of air conditioner fan and air is passed from the filters behind the grille. Air which is combined with the essence emitted from odor apparatus meantime is passed on the heat exchanger after passing from filter and is taken out from the blowers of the air conditioner. In this invention, requirement of placing odor apparatus to the back of the air intake grille of the air conditioner interior units causes a disadvantage of being not easy to replaced by user. This odor apparatus, which is not practical from the point of users, also increases air conditioner cost.
Another disadvantage related to the invention which is the subject of the patent specification mentioned above is that the essence is combined with the air sucked by the air conditioner fan. In other words, essence material within the odor apparatus is subjected to the stale air flow. Therefore, extraneous materials carried by air is collected on essence material in time.
In the invention, which is another example and is the subject of the patent specification with number JP 4015431, odor tablet slot placed on a filter body and its cap which its proportion of opening changes with respect to the speed of air flow are present. As the air flow increases, cap on the tablet opens more and more essence is emitted to the interior environment. In this invention, with the reason of odor tablet being in the filter body, odor tablet is subjected to air flow directly and dust, humidity and bacteria emitting fetid odor are collected on the tablet in time. In addition, this odor apparatus cannot be practically replaced by the user since it is placed to the interior unit of the air conditioner.
Another patent specification present in the state of prior art is the patent specification with number JP 4332322. The product which is the subject of this invention is an odor emitting apparatus containing essence material and designed for air conditioners. Characteristics of this product is that the amount of essence desired to be emitted from the air conditioner can be adjusted by means of a control unit automatically. Volume of the essence remaining in the odor unit is continuously measured and wideness of the odor outlet opening is automatically adjusted according to the measurement with respect to essence amount to be emitted. As a result mentioned product is complicated and high priced.
Also, in the state of prior art; essence materials of this odor emitting products are small packages or boxes formed by a essence impregnated body. This kind of products generally consist aromatized gel or granules. With the diffusion of odor emitting particles present in the products, disinfection of ambient air and emission of pleasant odor to environment are enabled. However, disadvantages of the present products is that the working life of these products are being short.
With the product which is the subject of the invention, it is aimed to solve disadvantages mentioned above and problems encountered with the products which are the subjects of the invention economically.
