Abstract
La présente invention porte sur des systèmes et sur des procédés pour étalonner en température l'oscillateur à quartz non compensé dans un dispositif mobile pendant un fonctionnement du dispositif mobile. L'oscillateur à quartz est étalonné en température à l'aide de signaux sans fil, tels que provenant d'une source satellitaire et, facultativement, de sources terrestres telles que WWAN, CDMA, etc. Sur la base d'un ou de plusieurs signaux sans fil reçus au niveau d'un récepteur des estimations de fréquence correspondante de l'oscillateur à quartz sont obtenues et corrélées avec des températures de fonctionnement correspondantes dans un processeur. Sur la base d'un ou de plusieurs échantillons d'estimations de fréquence et de températures associées, l'oscillateur à quartz est étalonné en température dans le processeur dans lequel un modèle fréquence-température (FT) est formulé pour l'oscillateur à quartz.
