Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un générateur de vapeur (1) d'une centrale, en particulier d'une centrale nucléaire, ledit générateur de vapeur comprenant un compartiment secondaire (4) à l'intérieur duquel sont placés une pluralité de tubes (7) en U comprenant deux branches (8) parallèles et un coude (9) reliant les branches l'une à l'autre. Des vibrations de flexion d'un tube, qui sont induites par un fluide s'écoulant dans le compartiment secondaire et/ou dans les tubes, sont détectées par le fait qu'un paramètre caractérisant l'intensité de la vibration de flexion est acquis au moyen d'un capteur et que, lorsque l'intensité de vibration s'approche d'une zone limite critique en termes d'endommagement des tubes ou atteint cette zone limite, les conditions de fonctionnement du générateur de vapeur sont réglées de sorte que l'intensité des vibrations de flexion reste en dehors de cette zone limite.
