Abstract

The present invention is related to employee tracking system comprising mobile device (1) that can connect to the internet, barcode reader mobile device (3) that can read the barcode (2) displayed on the mobile device (1), transfers the information of the barcode read to the main computer (5), and is connected to the internet, and main computer (5) processing and reporting the barcode information transferred to it by barcode reader mobile device (3).

DESCRIPTION
EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE TRACKING SYSTEM
Technical Field
The present invention is related to employee attendance tracking system enabling to determine when the employee arrives in and leaves the work place.
State of the Art
The present embodiments generally require giving a card or the like to the employee in work place entrances and exits. Delivery of cards belonging to personal identity causes operational difficulties for companies with lots of branches and employees. Providing a physical item such as card or the like causes lots of problems such as logistic costs, card managements, and carrying out operation in losses in circumstances that are not in single location. Entrance and exit detection on paper is a common method, but it does not allow utilizing any electronical solutions. Surely, said written solution is far behind the above mentioned electronic and mechanical solutions. However, it is widely used.
As a result of the above mentioned drawbacks and the insufficiencies of present solutions relating the subject, an improvement has to be made in the related technical field.
Object of the Invention
Developed by being inspired of the present conditions, the present invention aims to solve the above mentioned drawbacks.
The object of the present invention is to make personal tracking in work place entrances and exits easier, thanks to mobile phone use by the employee when compared to the present system.
Another object of the present invention is not to require to give a new item to the employee during work place entrances and exits thanks to using mobile phone, which is used commonly today and using thereof is increasing day by day. Therefore, simplifying the operation and decreasing the costs are aimed. In order to achieve the above mentioned objects, employee tracking system comprising the following process steps is developed; the employee entering to the web site determined for her/himself by connecting to the internet through her/his own mobile device, displaying the barcode determined for her/himself at said web site, reading the barcode displayed on the screen of mobile device by the mobile device reading barcode that is connected to the internet constantly, via the camera of said device, mobile device transmitting the barcode information to the main computer, main computer determining whom the barcode belongs to on the system by receiving the barcode information transmitted to it, storing the user information on the database by matching personal barcode reading date and hour and the identity of smart device and whom the barcode belongs to, and reporting said information.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises the following process steps; placing the mobile device to the mobile place placement area inside the box comprising barcode reader mobile device when the barcode is displayed on the screen, and reading barcode displayed on mobile device screen by means of camera of said device through barcode reading space by the barcode reader mobile device that is connected to internet constantly.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the web site determined for the employee is registered in a personal card in the directory of mobile device and the employee enters to the web site by opening the directory information.
The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood with the figures below and the detailed description written with reference to those figures; therefore, the evaluation needs to be made by taking these figured and the detailed description into consideration.

In addition, the members that are at least identical to a great extent or at least have identical functions to a great extent are referred with the same numeral.
Detailed Description of the Present Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of employee tracking system according to the present invention are described only in order for the subject to be understood better.
Employee tracking system according to the present invention comprises mobile device ( 1 ), barcode reader mobile device (3), box (4) and main computer (6).
Mobile device (1 ) owned by the employee can be all kinds of mobile phones that can connect to the internet. Therefore, it can be owned by the person easily and economically.
Barcode reader mobile device (3) is the smart device that can connect to the internet in a mobile manner and can read barcode. Said device (3) is tablet computer, smart phone or mobile phone. Said device (3) is provided on the box (4).
The box (4) includes barcode reader mobile smart device (3) therein. The barcode reader mobile smart device (3) is positioned on the barcode reader mobile device area (43). Barcode reading space (41 ) is provided at the end of said area (43). The function of said barcode reading space (41 ) is to enable said device (3) to see and read the barcode (2) displayed on the screen of mobile device (1 ) via camera thereof. The characteristic of said box (4) is that where the mobile device ( 1 ) should be located is determined in a marked manner. Said area is called mobile device placement area (42). The mobile device placement area (42) is chosen so as to read the camera barcode (2) at the lower section of barcode reading space (41 ).
An "x" distance, which is provided on the box (4) between barcode reader mobile device area (43), on which barcode reader mobile device (3) is located , and mobile device placement area (42), and will enable the mobile device ( 1 ) to perform barcode reading process via barcode reader smart device (3), is provided. The object of said distance is to simplify barcode reading of barcode reader mobile smart device (3) and to provide an easier usage area for the user. Therefore, the height, width and size of the box (4) can change in accordance with the brand and model of barcode reader mobile smart device (3).
A computer program is provided inside barcode reader mobile device (3). The function of said program is to read the barcode (2) on the screen of mobile device (1 ) and transfer thereof to the computer program installed in the main computer (5). Moreover, a computer program is installed on the main computer (5). The function of said program is to detect to whom the barcode belongs on the system by receiving the barcode information transferred to it, and to store the identity information of the user in the database by matching the reading date and hour of barcode, the identity of barcode reader mobile smart device (3) and to whom the barcode belongs on the system. The program on the main computer (5) reports said information to the authorities of employee tracking system.
The functioning of employee tracking system according to the invention is as follows: to give the arrival hour in the morning as an example, the employee arriving to the work place in the morning connects to the internet via mobile device (1 ) and accesses to the web site determined for her/him. The barcode (2) determined for her/him is displayed on said web site. When the barcode (2) is displayed on the screen, s/he places the mobile device ( 1 ) to the mobile device placement area (42) inside the box including the barcode reader mobile device (3) therein. Following the placement, the program inside barcode reader mobile device (3) connected to the internet constantly reads the barcode (2) displayed on the screen of mobile device ( 1 ) via the camera of said device (3) through the barcode reading space (41 ). Said program reads the barcode (2) and transfers thereof to the computer program installed on the main computer (5). The program on the main computer (5) detects to whom the barcode belongs on the system by receiving the barcode- information transferred to it, and stores the identity information of the user in the database by matching the reading date and hour of barcode, the identity of barcode reader mobile smart device (3) and to whom the barcode belongs on the system. Then, said program on the main computer (5) reports said information to the authorities of employee tracking system.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the employee does not required to click on the web site by writing thereof in order for the barcode (2) to be displayed via mobile device (1 ). In said embodiment, smart phone is used as mobile device ( 1 ) and the web site determined for the person/employee is registered as personal card on the directory of smart phone. In said embodiment, the employee accesses to the related personal card information through the directory and enables the barcode (2) to be displayed by clicking to the web site registered inside the personal card.
In the system mentioned in the alternative embodiment of the present invention, commanding process can be performed in order to open the toll gates and doors during entrances and exits in the work places such as offices and plazas.

1. An employee tracking system, characterized in that it comprises the following process steps; employee entering to web site determined for her/him by connecting to internet via her/his own mobile device ( 1 ),
displaying barcode (2) determined for her/him on said web site,
reading barcode (2) displayed on screen of mobile device ( 1 ) via camera of said device (3) by barcode reader mobile device (3) connected to the internet constantly,
transferring barcode information to main computer (5) by mobile device ( 1 ) , program on the main computer (5) detecting to whom the barcode belongs on the system by receiving the barcode information transferred to it, and storing identity information of the user in the database by matching reading date and hour of barcode, the identity of barcode reader mobile smart device (3) and to whom the barcode belongs on the system, and reporting said information.
2. System according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises the following process steps; when the barcode (2) is displayed on. the screen, placing the mobile device (1 ) to the mobile device placement area (42) inside the box including the barcode reader mobile device (3) therein,
reading the barcode (2) displayed on the screen of mobile device ( 1 ) via the camera of said device (3) through barcode reading space (41 ) by barcode reader mobile device (3) connected to the internet constantly.
3. System according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that; the web site determined for the employee is registered in a personal card in the directory of mobile device (1 ) and the employee enters to the web site by opening the directory information.

An employee tracking system, characterized in that it comprises; mobile device ( 1 ) that is owned by employee and can connect to the internet, barcode reader mobile device (3) that can read barcode (2) displayed on the mobile device ( 1 ), transfers the information of the barcode read to main computer (5), and is connected to the internet,
main computer (5) reporting and processing the barcode information transferred to it by barcode reader mobile device (3).
System according to Claim 4, characterized in that it comprises; box (4), in which barcode reader mobile device (3) is located therein/thereon , and which comprises mobile device placement area (42) and barcode reading space (41 ) thereon.
System according to Claim 1 or 4 , characterized in that; said mobile device (1 ) is smart phone or mobile phone.
System according to Claim 1 or 4, characterized in that; said barcode reader mobile device (3) is tablet computer, smart phone or mobile phone.
