Abstract

本发明涉及一种数据终端升级装置及方法，该装置包括拨号模块、协议模块、DHCP server模块、router模块、IP处理模块、升级模块、web server模块；拨号模块完成拨号流程；升级模块从DHCP server模块获取私有IP地址，经router模块和协议模块向版本服务器发送检测是否有新版本的请求消息，若有，从版本服务器下载新版本并写入数据终端的flash，由数据终端自动重启完成升级。本发明使得数据终端在win8操作系统下的升级过程、web server访问过程、PC机上网过程三者独立，减少数据终端升级过程和PC机操作系统的相关性，还可通过微软win8 logo认证，实现免驱功能。
